- Rubber Ducky Prospecting #2 - Andy and Barbara on the Creek - So in our last video we were sluicing for gold on the creek and the concentrates went into the delicious smelling cotton candy bucket. Today it is time to extract the gold from the cons! I will go through the whole process of getting that precious metal out of the remaining coarse black sands. We will classify, pan a little, use the magnet, and run the rest in the "Blue Bowl" to squeeze the last tiny flour gold specks out!

I love the blue bowl... It is slow and finicky to adjust the water flow, the motor speed controller has helped that issue tons. It does a great job getting the fines out of the cons. Just remember to classify and only run -30 mesh in it at the largest for the best results.

The ducky makes an occasional appearance these days. The fun part is not losing him... If you stay to the very end he is in every video for a few seconds.
