I just found you and love your style brother. I am going into year 3 in YT journey and looking step up my game a tad in 2025. Got my guitar channel fully monetized and helping so many others . I think am gonna go for the Sony ZV-E10 ii and the Sigma 16mm lens to start. Thanks for all of your knowledge and candid honesty. I appreciate the no BS approach and it's really need in this day and age.
dude you are the best honestly - you cover the needs of a new creator is such unique and diverse ways if i'm gonna be a big creator one day (which I will), i'm shouting you out bro
Other full frame recommendations. The Sony GM zooms are crazy expensive and heavy. Lighter and cheaper options are the Sony 16-25mm 2.8 G and 24-50mm 2.8 G. Love those lenses on my A7C2.
Criminal not to bring up the DJI pocket 3 it’s the king right now and the zve1 is another great great camera for content creation that give you the look of a high in camera full frame and comes in close to the a6700 but better
So with the Rodecaster Duo, can you use the features while using the xlr handle on the FX3? Or would you have to plug the mic directly into the xlr handle instead?
I don't have a ton of experience with Lumix outside of the og GH5, but I've seen a lot of people gravitating towards bodies like the S1H/S5II/S5IIX and produce some amazing content with them. If you're in that higher budget range, it might be worth checking those out too.
Good info man, question on a semi related topic, i have a a6400.. is there a massive quality difference in record my UA-cam videos through obs rather than recording directly from the camera? I can’t find any good information on the topic 😊
Thank you, i have a question, im trying to make videos for tiktok, but also want to do youtube long format content. The screen for recording on camera is a smaller screen than my phone, i have s23, its good but not as good as the iphone back camera. Can i plug in an additonal screen into the camera or is there an app i could screen share what the camera as the screen viewer is small?? I dont have a mac computer only a windows and a samsung tablet which i can use the flow app to screenshare from what is on my s23 (using back camera) to my tablet. Hope that makes sense. I need to have a bit better video quality on tik tok and instagram, but also want to make youtube makeup tutorials of my sfx makeup
Loving the stuff, but man I'm think I'm in a different bracket. My gaming channel uses like a $50 webcam and digital green screen (doesn't look good but works) I'll get there someday. Thanks for the tips.
I do a lot of Pokémon unboxing vids on my main channel and have had focussing issues and not super clean looking have an older cam btw and older phone so the phones not great, was looking for a different cam for that what would u recommend for top down content with a lot of movement plz
Great Video! 😊 One more question, I'm not sure that i picked that up correctly. Do you connect your Cam to a PC to record, or do you record it directly through the camera and edit the audio additionally?
Big believer in the idea that you can learn to be great with simple tools. Also a big believer in having the right tool for the job…so know what you want to do and focus on ticking those boxes first and foremost. Just threw my M50ii on a SCORP Mini 2 and it completely breathed new life into it. I STILL have never shot higher than 1080…cuz that’s all most places can show anyways. So…need and want are very different things that come at very different costs. Lean into what you need…you may find it changes what you want.
Hi, I’m surprised you didn’t include the Sony Zv-e1! Specs wise, isn’t it the same as the fx3 and is around $1550(used) plus it’s made for content creators? Plus it’s lighter, full frame, and smaller?
If you don't have so much knowledge probably A6700 will be better choice than FX30. Less complicated + have AI chip. It is also lighter and smaller (more handy) Also if you make photos to your social media A6700 have mechanical shooter. I tried both of them and I ended up with A6700 bcs autofocus is killer here bcs of AI + is less complicated. And btw. in this video you forget about DJI Osmo pocket, I think it's better than GoPro or even ZV1 Specially when you buy creator combo which cost I think 650$ in US ?
I don’t understand why your views are so low!? Your content is great and a channel with close to 100K yet views are on their backside…. This is indicative of a shadow ban…. What are your analytics showing you? What’s your CTR? If the CTR is high but your views are low this again seems like a shadow ban.
For what it's worth, I mix my A7IV, FX30, DJI Action 4 and the Insta360 Go 3s and no one has said anything ever. Even in my commercial gigs. They only care about the final result!
Ewww not GoPro. I had the GoPro 11. That thing was terrible. I'm probably never buying another camera from them. DJI Action 4 or Insta360 Ace Pro are way better than GoPro. GoPro has a plethora of issues. Over heating after 5 to 10 minutes, Losing footage, freezing up, and it's only good in super bright sunlight. You can get a secondhand Pocket 2 creator combo for 200 bucks or less. I'd recommend that as a beginner camera. It's 85%-90% as good as Pocket 3. It's way better than almost all phones in lowlight or indoor shooting. Unless you're dead set on getting an interchangeable lens camera, I'd suggest this. Very easy to use as well. You could also pick up a Sony X3000 for super cheap if you look hard enough. I got my X3000 for $140. It's still good enough for most vloggers. Lots of big channels still use it. Harald Baldr and Bald and Bankrupt still use it. They have millions of subscribers.
A few UA-cam creators with over 3 - 5 million subscribers who get 2 - 10 million views on their videos use GoPros. Funny how they manage just fine but you can't?
@@BigE and they complain the whole time they use it. I can use it, but there are much better options and I certainly wouldn't recommend that anyone buy it.
The sentiment by the majority of creators that I follow is that they are growing tired of GoPro. Many have moved on to other options. GoPro 11 was just more trouble than it was worth. I don't really do action sports. I wanted to use it to film my table tennis matches, but it couldn't even record a full match without it overheating. And that was in an indoor room with air conditioning. Most of the clubs where I live don't have air conditioning. It would last 8 to 10 minutes tops. It's very hot here. X3000 can record until the battery runs out without overheating and that thing came out in 2016.
One of my favorite channels uses a GoPro to not intimidate people he’s interviewing. He’s doing really well. Great storytelling wins. Good audio too…

Man I love your blunt honest presentation style. Refreshing thank you
I appreciate that!
100k on deck OG.
My guy!
Finally a guide that is no bs and just simple information.
Absolutely dig on the info my man. Thank you for not being a gatekeeper!
My man

Loving the lab culture hat!! My man Big E smashing out these awesome videos en route to 100k 🔥
You already know!
The FX30 is the baby 🐐 camera so underrated!
It's so good
For crop sensor, you cannot go wrong with 11-20mm 2.8 from TAMRON. I use it with a Promist on ZVE10 and FX30
I need to test that
For people on a budget and want that SM7B sound the FiFine K688 sounds pretty darn good. Lots of great suggestions here.
Thanks for the motivation 😊😊
Get this man 100k
Trying!
4 mins in and I just relized your wearing a lab culter hat. It actually looks really good on you tho
That’s mah boyyy

Heard great things about Panasonic, just never needed to try them cause Sony has been so good

Obs will change your colors slightly but most people won't notice if some right.
Do the Sony Cameras do well with OBS? I'm using a Go Pro but might upgrade soon
Yeah, the recent ones use usbc
love the Lab Culture hat!!
That's my boy

Sony and canons focus is really good, I recommend making sure you shoot your top down with a higher apature number so it has more room to focus
@@BigE thank u so much bro, appreciate it sooo much 👍
Ps. Your videos are great and help sooo much keep up the great work.
Awesome video as always. If any viewers are on an even tighter budget fifine has decent usb/xlr mics for audio at a decent price.
Thanks for sharing!
Great Video! 😊

Nope! I record onto a sd card

Done well with a Kiyo pro webcam and a blue yeti mic set me back like 140$
Great starters

It's not a shadowban brother, it's an 8 year old channel with content changes through out the years, appreciate your concern but it's all good here🫡
Finally...someone that speaks real English and talks like a normal guy. This is great...and I agree with 99% of your assessments. 😁 Subbed.

I'd still say the Canon M50 mk II is the goat for beginner content (especially streaming)
Good camera
