Framework 16 NVME & RAM Upgrade

This is the Forth of many Framework 16 Videos
I was in the very early batch of the Framework 16 inch laptop being shipped.
I bought it with my own money based off of how much I liked my Framework 13 inch.
I spent quite a bit on this laptop, so If was going to be a high end laptop I wanted to upgrade the RAM and NVMe to also be at the high end.
We After having it for a week, I upgraded the RAM and NVMe, so I can dual Boot.
I Run Fedora as my daily driver, but every once in a great while, I want to play a game that is only on Windows.
I installed windows on the Corsair 1 TB NVMe 2230, and Installed Fedora on a 2 TB NVMe 2280.

G'day, Great video quick to the point and easy to follow.
I am not too tech savy but am able to do small work such as these installations, I just have a question in regards to the software side of things; is there anything you need to do to the drive or the ram after installing it or is it simply plug and play everything's all set ready to use normally?

Ram should be recognized automatically so you shouldn’t have to do anything via software. Worst case scenario it’ll be long the first boot after you have installed the ram since the bios is going through and mapping it. I hope that helps answer your question.

@@Jscar_Hawk That's great to know I won't need to do any software updates. I will be ordering the FW16 soon, may I also ask with a mini corsair mp600 2230 did you have any issues with the height limitations for the WD 2280 on top?
Also do we get the bottom mousepad spacers for free with the laptop and only require to pick 2 spacers for the above keyboard modules?
