Growing up, I played violin duets with my best friend all the time, so I thought it would be a good idea to arrange one. I picked “Abide With Me” because it became a special song to me during my sophomore year. It was the last hymn we played on our orchestra Sundays out, we played it as an orchestra in chapel, I found a vocal arrangement of it that I really liked, and I was studying through John 15 which talks about abiding in Jesus and Jesus abiding in us. I am so excited to be able to play this at my showcase with my dear friend Emily.
