Correct me if I am wrong, because I have not heard either of these in person, but the Track did not sound much louder than the Touring to me on here. It seemed a bit deeper in tone but I was having trouble noticing if it was in fact substantially louder. I have also watched the FT Speed videos and in the part where they showed the decible meter on the screen, the numbers looked pretty similar between the two. I am trying to decide between these two and I really like both of them. I do not want the car to be obnoxious, but I do want it to sound good and be louder than stock.
Why does the touring sound louder and more raspy than the track that sounds deeper low and mainly opens up higher in the rev range? I think the 2nd one is the track edition and the 3 one the touring. Or is it me?
Is the touring any quieter on a completely cold start? I just installed the track edition and I like how it sounds but the cold starts are ridiculously loud. Yeah it calms down after about 20-30 seconds but I don’t know if I can live with it. The warm start isn’t too bad but I need a little more tame cold start.
I honestly didn't have the touring on for very long, so I can't remember exactly, but it might have been slightly less loud. I remember the track being loud for the cold starts though!
@@BIGBROTHERiswatchinU I did end up leaving the track edition on. It’s still loud on startup but I think it did quiet down just a little bit since I’ve had it on for a while. At some point I may get a tune to make the cold start quieter but I’ve learned to live with it. I took it to tail of the dragon back in June and I loved driving it through the mountains with the track exhaust on. I don’t have any regrets about it but it definitely takes some getting used to if you’re not into loud exhausts.
Sounds awesome in both Track and Touring editions. Sounds more intrusive than I was expecting inside the cabin though - is that with windows open? Is the car in otherwise stock form or are there other mods comtributing to the sound?
I went over all that in the full installation video. But the touring has two large mufflers to make it quieter, it’s also heavier. The track is a straight through smaller muffler that is significantly lighter. That’s just how the company prices them. You pay for more materials with the touring.
I wouldn't say super loud, it's definitely noticeable though, I still have the track on and it pops on downshifts sometimes and you definitely know it's coming!
Track mode bestie!
Oh yeah!
I prefer Track mode!
Me too!

Yeah, there's no much of a sound difference. It's mainly the lighter weight for the track version. But it is slightly less loud for the touring.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thank you for your response. It is very helpful.

Other way around! Track is louder, but neither are raspy. 3rd one is track.

I am curious if you decided to live with it, or if you converted it to Touring Edition. And if you converted, are you happy with the change?

It definitely gets a little less loud.

It’s because the microphone is on the outside. It sounds much quieter from the inside
Is this with the fake cabin engine noise turned off?
It is, that was unplugged. I made a video about that though, doesn't really make a difference.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed ohh I see
What’s the difference between the two and why is one more expensive than the other?

Hey man personally I love track but where I live cops are drawn like rats to loud noises. Is the track super loud for daily driving?
I wouldn't say super loud, it's definitely noticeable though, I still have the track on and it pops on downshifts sometimes and you definitely know it's coming!
How about the touring? Is it pretty loud too?
@@barroth3658 It’s pretty similar. However it is slightly toned down
@@BrosFOURRSpeed how much of a town down would you say it is on a scale of 1-10?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I was looking at getting the touring cause I think it sounds slightly better and it also doesn’t drone
So the track is louder than the touring since the track is louder does it pop more?
It pops a bit more, but the touring did some as well. I’ve been using the track so can’t remember how much the touring popped.
Track just sounds so aggressive!!
For sure!!
Man the stock exhaust on these cars is such absolute bullshit. Counting the days until I can afford the track edition.
yeah just no sound stock
I wish we knew what was what in the video…..label much?
I mentioned that at the very beginning, first thing you read in this video..
