This man mentioned the prep kitchen like 8 times while showing the main kitchen and then blue balled me by not even showing it after.
Exactly what I was going to say. Show ALL of it.
I wanted to see the prep kitchen too!!
You wanted to ejaculate seeing it? Sick man.
Same
Beautiful, I love it 😍
If THAT "is the best view in the world" you clearly haven't seen much of it.
Wow, the view of all those rooftops, traffic, and billboards is simply stunning.
Exactly! What are they thinking?!
And smoke for 3 months a year!
Don't forget the trees... and people riding scooters
Haha - This guy hasn't travelled.
Eh, i’d disagree it’s a gorgeous view
Can think of 50 million things that I’d rather spend 50 million dollars on
Exactly. It could be used to restore and adapt empty buildings to provide homes for at least some of their 66K+ homeless people.
Me too 😑
@@Spangletigeror buy a beautiful 10 million dollar condo in Miami with ocean views
It does not face the sea or any scenery, so it cannot be the best view in the world.
It faces the smog! Edited for accuracy👍.
I 100% agree. When he said it is the best view in the world I was screaming at my phone telling him that the view is flat AF.
It's the best view of some of the worst air pollution!
Fred is used to the smell of piss in the morning. Soa little smog is no big deal.
I was thinking the same thing! You'll get a 1st-hand view of your neighbors yards, and the skyline of a densely populated hill :-/
For $50 million I would think you’d at least want a pool.
It’s perfect for a rich hermit.
There are orphans in the slums of Africa who literally swim in sewage, who have no orphanage or caretaker.
Some will swim in fire forever. 🔥
It’s a penthouse apartment.
My first thought too.
@@tileformiles Then I hope you don't support renewable energy. They need fossil fuels.
For a fraction of the price (even in LA/Malibu/etc.), you can have great views and so much more privacy.
And a swimming pool
and a Wellness Area
Only people from Hollywood think a landscape of other peoples' rooftops is the "most beautiful view you've ever seen."
Ocean / desert / prairie / mountains / woods ... Rooftops ??? Not so much ... 😂
it is, make you feel superior over peasants... feel like king of the world~!
@@blurdreamer Can't argue with that one I guess.
To each their own.
I'm telling you. When I heard that - I was like WTF?
Looks more like a banquet space for events than a home.
Some are searching exactly that.
@@niilespunkari8832 I agree, and it always puzzles me. Why do people want their homes to look like subways (kitchens), restaurants (dining rooms), and hotel suites (bedrooms). And why is that so often the banal, unimaginative and mind-numbing overuse of the color white? What is the psychology of expressing your identity as commercial space? Is it class longing?
@@epluribusunum1460 Exactly! I just don't get it, but I guess to each his own.
My first thought was, "How do you get in touch with their property manager to book the place for a meeting 🤔 🤣
For real. How boring.
This would be a perfect space for an international art dealer.
Am I the only one who doesn’t see the views Fredrik is talking about?
I see the same views he sees. We just describe it differently.
Ha! So it’s a 50 million dollar box? I appreciate them trying to fool us with the furniture. Worth noting: the more complex the system the more opportunities for it to break.
This house feels like a comfortable Apple store.
You can get a mansion above Sunset for less than $50 million. You can get those views from several condos in the Beverly Hills, West Hollywood area for far less. This asking price is absurd.
Although the execution is apparently first class, I "only" miss these few things from this home: green plants, style, idea, uniqueness, nice view, good air....
The problem I see with this house is its severe lack of personality. It appears designed in such a way to be as inoffensive as possible and feels more like an expensive corporate hideaway for events and such than a private home. I suppose if neutral colors were replaced in part and additional personal touches were added, it might be more welcoming. It is like a home for a couple who are determined never to have kids and really like to live in corporate luxury.
A lot of these luxury homes just look like hotels to me
I’m one of the few people who absolutely LOVE this stark, utterly “soulless” design, but I can completely understand why the majority doesn’t 🤣
@@atlf3357 yeah, I feel somewhat similarly. But i gravitate to impersonal spaces that are modern comfortable blank canvases for me to read or reflect. I work in a downtown office complex which has some common spaces that have interesting modern design aesthetics not quite to this standard but similar. Some of the seating is comfortable, most isn’t, but it looks impressive.
Bright colours arent the only colours that can add personality and make a place warming, Neutral colours can too but it's the way you do it with what materials textures and shapes
I totally agree. Stark and cold.
A simple cottage with a garden will be more beautiful than this lifeless glass box with motorised windows
Imagine spending 50 000 000 $ and living in a space that looks like an IKEA showroom...
Lol 😂
@@jasegalaxy74
imagine paying $500 for a prostitute and still have to master bait on the way back home
😂 😂😂
😂😂
True
“Some say this is the best view in the world” HAHAHAHAHA
50 million view of the design center
poor choice of words
well if could just be him yet just the same
The best view in the world... For that kind of money, I expect the Swiss Alps or Coruscant view, and no feral fauna downstairs.
Neighbor roofs are so amazing ! :D
I got a good laugh of it too
Quite possibly the most bland, inoffensive and uninteresting property I have ever seen, presented by the most hyperbolic, fake presenter bragging about numbers of ovens within a 50m dollar property. I dont have 50m to waste on this property, but I did lose 9 minutes and 57 seconds I cant have back.
Damn you summed that up quite nicely, everything I was thinking
Knock your self out. 85% of high end properties in the US are grossly overpriced. This is just 1 drop of water in an ocean.
Agreed.
This is all on point
Now, now….all these trades making this have a living to make, and you can tell they weren’t sloppy. Let’s not talk about “bland inoffensive” with a no name handle with a plain white avatar.
The best view in the world as the best look to the neighbor roofs. Bravo!
Just down the street you can view skid row & many homeless living in tents on the sidewalk. It's lovely. Enjoy your mansion!!
I mean... it's like 10 miles away, but ok...
Skid row is downtown LA, not West Hollywood
Give us more more more more! We love ❤ it
…”And from here you’ve got a picturesque view of rooftop air conditioners…”
Watching the homeless is my favorite past time
Can't beat those incredible views of the highway and your neighbours' kitchens 😂
I wish less time was spent talking about the furniture so we could see the prep kitchen and dressing rooms
I'm i the only one to notice the silicone strip coming through the "most expensive" glass sliding windows? 😅
1:08 9:37 The title says "on the market"
2:12 The gap isn't even on both sides
5:19 No. You said the ceiling is 14 foot high. The maths isn't that hard.
6:15 What about it makes it floating?
6:42 The sunset & sunrise won't be in the same place
6:48 Who has actually said that?
7:19 The rails for the glass between the inside & terrace is certainly not invisible but you tried to sell that as a feature
9:31 How is it facing east if it has 360° views?
6million tops...no way anyone is paying anywhere near $50 million for that. Showing furniture is not going to get anyone excited if they can already afford $50 million If you can get it though, congrats!
these people have no shame they are too greedy
would've loved to see the building entrane, garage, buildling amenities, etc...
nothing different than at other condos in LA.
Okay, so we took a 5 million dollar house, stuck it in an apartment building, knocked all the walls out, and upped the price by 1000% 🦄🤷♂️ genius, truly.
There’s a house listed for 54,000,000 million the architect is also olson kundig and it has two pools a garage all the amenities, small space of land and better views of the city and 15,000 sqf. And it’s actually a mega mansion unlike this penthouse where you got to share most of the amenities.
Where's the link, please?
@@ayrenbethancourt9379 I think he means this house, the architect is Tom Kundig. He is the owner and design principal of Olson Kundig.
ua-cam.com/video/AfSWldaT-AE/v-deo.html
Yeah, I put an offer in for $48 MIL. I got that in my couch cushions yo.
Yeah please post link
Usually when a real estate agent tell us how amazing a place is and how much they love it, it's a tell tell sign that this is a hard sell. Stop the BS Fredrik.
I enjoy watching videos about tiny homes better, or the channel featuring apartments under 500 square feet. They are cozy and livable and the architecture has to be more innovative.
Great view of the tent cities below.
Seriously, for $50 million, you can get a house in the hills with jetliner views, or a place in the flats of Beverly Hills, and have plenty left over for renovations. This is a nice place, but you can find nicer for way less.
Well, it's certainly a place to be seen in....literally! From everywhere by anyone with binoculars! 50 million for a glass box with no views, no privacy and no interesting features. I mean how many times can you jump up and yell enthusiastically to your captive audience/guests "Hey everyone! Wanna see me open the walls up again?" before said guests start finding reasons that they have to leave?
3:56 awkward 😂😂😂 I feel you man! Happens to me all the time
I never understand what is supposed to be impressive about living in a space THAT large just because you can afford it. How can anyone live there comfortably and actually feel at home? Just walking from one living area to another takes so long! And the amount of maintenance ugh.
I really like the art on the walls...😀
Going to be worth less than $10M in 2 years.
I'll take $50 million instead.👀
tis dude will sell u to u foshizay
Although there are a lot of postings saying it's boring and bland, I happen to like this property. It's too bad all the art was blurred as in so many videos today. The art can really make a big impact in defining the vibe and look of an interior.
Go buy it. I doubt you'll be contending with any competing offers.
I remember The One starting life at $500m, then it was $300m, finally it sold for £120m, I see the same happening here.
“I found the Windex. How many bottles do you want me to pick up?”
New owner: … yes
Don't forget to shop for a spatula and a dustpan to scrape off and dispose of the birds that break their necks flying into all that glass...
theres houses in LA that go for less and have pools, a huge garage, cinema, hell even a bowling alley
I’m just not understanding all this going on about the “views”, who wants to look at the Hollywood Hills? I thought the whole point of the hills was to look out at the city and ocean views. But, I live in Maryland so what do I know, lol.
50M for a West Hollywood home? Lmao I would never. And whoever does it’s beyond crazy.
I don't like the glass on the ledge it appears too dangerous.
I'd expect a beachfront mansion for that price. That absurd price might work in NYC, but not LA.
Looks more like a hotel space rather than a home. Staging is cold.
.
pretty underwhelming for 50 mil!
I wouldn't say that's the "most incredible view ever..."
Good place to have a close up view of LA smog along with the traffic noises from Beverly. Well at least you are a walking distance away from Cedars Sinai Hospital after inhaling everything from Beverly Blvd.
That’s a nope for me. I lived in a luxury condo building in downtown Seattle with ten and a half foot ceilings and wrap around floor to ceiling glass on two sides, overlooking the Puget Sound and many magnificent landmark buildings. AND It was walkable to everything you can name, except Walmart, Costco and Best Buy. It cost 1/50th as much.
You had me at ... " overlooking the Puget Sound " ! 💟
Curious what kind of buyer would be attracted to this place. For the price, I would assume most potential buyers would prefer a house on land with pool etc, not a shared building.
The dinning table is the same material of the floor. Nice.
Very nice .
No apartment in this world world $50M.
Ridiculous price
It would have been a much better tour if they hadn't blurred the images of the paintings on the wall. I've never seen a house tour where they've had to do such a thing, especially when considering the fact that art is a major part of interior design.
If you watched last I don't know, few years? Every house in AD has to have blurred all art. Copyright issues 🤷🏻♀️ I think it's UA-cam rules, but not sure.
1/2 mile away you can buy a Privately gated Estate in the hills for a fraction of the price. This is ridiculous
As of January 2020, California had an estimated 161,548 experiencing homelessness on any given day
For $50 million I expect a lot more than a glamorized appartment , I want acres of land , a pool or 2 , a barn with animals , a big house with no neighbours , fresh air , no noise ect ect.
These building might be super expensive but what they often lack is the home-feeling (personal opinion).
So true ! There are no areas for the owner to relax on a cozy down-filled sofa & unwind w/ a drink , a good book & music ; same for guests - no welcoming feeling to sit down & stay awhile . Very office / medical building vibes !
Good vibe with the video and the penthouse as usual. However, with over 5 mil subscribers, I hope AD could start making videos in 4k and clean their lens before shooting.
This guy has never left Los Angeles
Iconic residences are amazing. This place is perfect shallow Hollywood. And it will not fetch $25MM.
The table is so gorgeous with a bronze .
THE PLANTS ARE CENSORED! 😂
Fredrik is hilarious! Beautiful penthouse.
Kudos to the agents for powering through the uphill job of trying to sell this investment property. It's almost impossible to not see this as a billionaire's glass piggy bank, devoid of architectural heart and life. *Maybe* a work-week office for a studio head or tech founder who wants a place to stay while taking meetings in the LA area. But livability or entertaining? You'd make a better impression renting out Ikea for the day.
I wonder why it seems to only face east? Wouldn’t west be preferable - especially if you can see the ocean from the space.
lots of not-so-pretty chunks of flat land in between this building and the ocean.
He is not selling a property that looks to the West. :)
This looks like an absolute life-less piece of architectural flamboyance with one of the most ordinary views possible.
I am not impressed for $50m. Sure the rooms are big and the ceilings are high, but that 1 reception space that is the kitchen, dinning, lounge & sitting area. I want more division of rooms, rather than an open plan office.
You could literally buy an island build a farm on it buy a boat to move there with that money
Such a cheap island 😂
That living room so cool, really love that wide view. Beautiful penthouse.
$50m? I wouldn’t spend $5m on it. For $50m in LA there are so many more exciting and memorable properties to buy.
a small plunge pool (minimally) would have been nice.
"The sun rises... The sun sets... Some people would say this is the best view in the entire world... I tend to agree"
And to think this guy probably makes 10 times more than the average person lol
oof at that red, green and blue eyesore of a building visible from every room.
This is stunning 🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
i mean to me it woulda been cool if let’s say there were rooms of different sibs shapes sizing of rooms and maybe here and there [cuz it seem at least 50 rooms init]
a large high ceilin’d idk “aaaahhhhhaaaaa!!!’” moments delux
A show and prep kitchen... Just have one stupid kitchen lol
This looks like a nightmare for our feathered friends!
“50million dollars, who you think you kidnapped, Chelsea Clinton?!” -Chris Tucker
no swimming pool for $50 millions bye then
There is a pool at this address, including yoga and fitness areas, according to the website.
Why would anyone pay $50 million for a penthouse when they can get a mansion with a better view for a third of that price?
Just stunning 🤩
Love it.......just bought a 500 000 condo......ad two zeros and it’s mine.......😜😍😝
was expected a drum roll after the 6'5" but I guess that is all in my head.
Wonder how many birds break their necks flying into the glass and landing on outdoor dining area😵💫
3:50 i think you broke the most expensive sliding glass thing 😂
Wow this is paradise.
Honestly i probably reallyuse and accupy about one tenth of space allotted to me
so not sure what the point of all that other
hoppla❤ all about
The best view ever is just some house, some tree on a slope?
Beautiful Tom Kundig penthouse.
i love his shoes
Tim Dillon had the best take about this property. Priceless. Listen to it.
Best view is when you can't see the neighbors 🙂
As they say in Kentucky, home is where them fuckers ain’t. 😏
And they can't see you !!! 😀
OK my favorite architects ever
The best views in the entire world? This guy is a joke.
Incoming “it doesn’t feel like home i like my basement better i wouldn’t want this house” coping comments coming
So what you are saying is that it has good views and motorized glass doors? I didn't hear you can you say it 10 more times.
Perfect home for those whose dream is to live in an Apple store.
So cool. Wow 👌
Great location materials used. Nice views. You need a night version too.
Right. I see it was hazy the day they filmed this but I know Downtown is viewable fom that space if not the Pacific. Night time is stunning.
@@antoniahamilton3201 I was in that area yesterday and saw the building in person. I agree with you about the weather. That property has been in development a long time. Great job by everyone. Actually took a picture of it.
