The fact that the Texture Quality has an impact on performance is just a sign that CDPR made a serious fcky wcky. Basically NO other game has such bad behaviour. In most games you'll lose around 1 or 2 FPS on higher texture settings. Guess we got The Witcher 2077 :D

Wow you recommended by very far the worst options. Whole point of remaster is in *full* reshade of everything with Ray Tracing. Reflections and Shadows might even be left to off, but Global Illumination and Ambient Occlusion is what makes new Witcher 3 next gen - literally. Also you recommend Sharpening to High - it utterly destroys how the game looks. So bad filter it's painful to look at. Maybe set it to low if on 1080p but leave it off 1440p - you don't need the game to look bad. Also DLSS ruins the looks, renders light sources differently, and half the game loses reflection, for example chainmail on 1st armor, just look at it with DLSS on and off. Also next worst thing is FXAA - yet you recommended it as second best... This video is so wrong.
Half way through and for me (using a 5700g) turning Bloom off tanks the fps to the point of being unplayable. Been a few months since I last played the game but the main thing I notice with the next gen updates is that anyone outside of 10 feet from Geralt appears to be rendered on a mobile from 2018. Also what happened to the loading times? I feel like I'm back in the 90's waiting for my NvME drive to load the game where before it loaded it in seconds.
What’s the point of having pc that can do 100++++ fps without RT and not find a way to get 50++ with RT. I’m running 3070 and with RT max preset on 2k resolution it’s above 40. Ya sounds like it’s not good enough and more will definitely be better. But what RT brings is just insane. There is no really a reason for me to do another play through with RT, even at lower fps. And I still have a lot of room to change settings around and get more.

That's because you are CPU bottlenecked with RT enabled to begin with. RT is the most intensive graphical settings in the game. If you want a serious boost, you've got to disable them.
@@kishaloyb.7937 What do you mean CPU bottlenecked the GPU is the one doing the load. And at 4k here. Also I don't think a 5950x would easily be bottlenecked yet and the chip is still young. My CPU Utilisation is only around 10-20% GPU 99%
I remember when a 70s series card had no problen playing games on max settings.... Now nvdia pretends its always been a mid tier card...
You aren't the only one
They don't update anything they gradually downgrade the product
Then give slightly better option at overprice value
Wow... I Have Lowest Settings with RTX3050 and 40 FPS 😑Very UseFull Video 👍
I see that you also have that somewhat annoying middle screentear line i guess its best to just try and ignore it:).
hey so why would i set my fps to unlimited if I know that my max refresh rate is 120?
Everybody who plays it wants Raytracing. Without it, you could just download the mods
Guys I can't find rtx settings however I have a 4070 card . And still can't find it , it only has ultra + , what should I do ?
Vey nice tutorial.Just wanna mention that even Rtx 4090 will not handle good Ray Tracing.I really badly implemented, only if You are using Frame Generator Fps looks good but game looks quite blurry and If You are using reshade some effect cause flickering.Apparently new patch coming soon, so hopefully will fix optimisation 🤞🤞🤞
I copied your setup and daaaaamn. I can't get through missions now. Just looking at the view makes me enjoy the game already.
Even on 4090 there are problems🙁
Thanks man ! 😎
I get weird stuttering no matter what I use and I have a 3090 like wtf it makes the game unplayable for me
Thank you for this! Its my first play through and now the game is actually playable
Can someone tell me how to get the performance overlay he is using?
sharpening in dlss is the most disgraceful thing you can turn on, i have no idea why you would use or recommend it
What is the best settings for Rtx 3050 sir?
Rtx 4050 laptop Ultra + RTX 51- 65 Fps
Can't play without RTX. Too beautiful picture. I already get used to it. 😄
Agreed. Tough trade because somehow my 3060 only gets like 40 fps on just RT not even ultra
@@mendax2251 I can't play it on 3070 lmao
3060Ti here
Can manage a steady 40-45 fps with 1440p DLSS balanced, RTGI/RTAO/RT reflections on, and everything set to High instead of Ultra +
i just searched the price for a 4090 what the in the actual fucking fuck is that? 1500€ !! the fuck is going on in the market?
Thanks my american friend
When I run this game on dx12 it’s just a stuttering mess. DX11 is basically buttery smooth. I have a 3060ti. Doesn’t seem to be happening on yours, do you know why?
they tried to emulate dx12 using dx11, doing so they messed up a lot.
@@Dovahkiin978 CDPR is just a ghost of the former company, all talented guy's just quit.
@@petertremblay3725 mmmm i don't think so, cp2077 was all a market problem. For tw3 they add ray tracing on an old game (2015) emulating the nowedays dx12.
Witcher without bloom is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
So can i ask you guys i have legion 7i 2021 with i9 11980hk rtx 3080 16gb 165w and 32gb ram do you guys think i can Play this with high settings and ray tracing enabled with at least 60 stable fps ?
No I rt on fps will Dip bad specially in cities
@@mreverything1866 i heard that you need rtx 40xx to be able to put rt on right
@@kallossthenos yeah and I call it BS
Thanks
Half way through and for me (using a 5700g) turning Bloom off tanks the fps to the point of being unplayable.
Been a few months since I last played the game but the main thing I notice with the next gen updates is that anyone outside of 10 feet from Geralt appears to be rendered on a mobile from 2018. Also what happened to the loading times? I feel like I'm back in the 90's waiting for my NvME drive to load the game where before it loaded it in seconds.
why did you turned off bloom?
read the pinned comment that should clarify it
What’s the point of having pc that can do 100++++ fps without RT and not find a way to get 50++ with RT.
This game needs some patches
