New subbie! Im surprised this channel doesn't have 3 million subscribers. This was a full blown cinema production. Fish On!!!
Thanks you so much for the kind words and the subscription!
Thanks for your reviews on both types of kayaks, I choose the kuda 106 because it will do what needs to get done and I have been enjoying it from day one.
Thanks for watching them! Glad you are enjoying it!! I love mine!
Thanks for going the extra mile and then some with this outstanding edit, Jameson! Great food for thought on the advantages of both types of kayak, rotomolded VS inflatable. You hit all the points to be considered when making that decision.
I could see myself getting one of the NRS inflatables to compliment my JK Coosa X, especially for those times when transport, storage and physical ability is limited.
I’ll take one of each!
As always, thanks for watching!!
Just bought the Pike bc of your video. I wanted the Kuda but the Pike makes more sense for my use. I'll be fishing marshes in Florida, big lakes in Arkansas, and flat water with long paddles. Feel like the Pike will be a better paddling kayak on longer flat water outings! I also think the side walls will help with keeping camping gear in the kayak. Hope I am right!! Thanks for the review.
Awesome! Keep me posted on how you like it!
Good stuff Jameson! Each has it’s time and place. Think I want a Pike Pro some day…….
Thanks for watching!! Pike Pro is solid! We have been fishing “near” shore with it in Washington State this week and it did great!
Awesome review and information:)
Our family owns 9 kayaks, 7 being hardshell, and 2 inflatables, and there is a major difference in comparing shorter hardshell (9.5-10.5') throw and go kayaks(38-50lbs), and larger hardshell SOT fishing kayaks(11'-14') that come in at 70-150lbs, in comparison to a 13' 38lb+seat inflatable fishing kayak. I personally don't care who you are, or how strong you are, or if you are using a kayak cart, a 115lb (thats how much my 12'7" Kaku Zulu weighs with the seat) hard-shell fishing kayak is an absolutely pain to move around by yourself, whereas a 38lb+seat 13' inflatable fishing kayak(Blackfoot 130) is a breeze to move around by yourself. So, unless i have another person with me to transport the Zulu, I always use the Blackfoot, and in all honesty the Zulu although I absolutely love it, doesn't get used at all anymore unless We are going out as a group and there are 2 of us moving it. I agree with everything you said, and personally I just believe and feel that a good inflatable fishing kayak is just more practical for a solo user, unless you are only using your yaks on lakes or rivers with a public access, your yak is trailered, and you back your trailer in like you do a boat.
Thanks for watching! Very accurate. On the water, the hardshell boats can perform better, but off water there is now comparison!
Your channel is amazing I’m insanely loving these reviews! Quick question, is their a guide somewhere to getting the seat down on the kuda? I went out with my son and had it hooked up both ends but seeing your set up I’m like woah hahahaha what did I even do
There is a good photo of the seat setup in this article: in4adventure.com/nrs-kuda-126-inflatable-fishing-kayak-review/
I have the Savage Gear High Rider designed for fishing Uk
Sweet!
Being able to hide an inflatable on a road trip seems like a useful benefit from a security standpoint.
Being able to deflate abs pack it down for sure has it’s benefits!
The Pike and the Kuda are both on sale now and are less than $800.
Great deal!
