Thanks for the video, very helpful to see first hand the disassembly and assembly without any steps skipped! For smaller jobs like this it's really helpful! Imagine for larger jobs not everyone would want to watch through the whole thing though. Good stuff!
Not sure if you missed it when you popped the black knob out but there should be a little ball bearing and spring which sits in there awkwardly to sort of keep it from rotating into lock/free.. Not sure if they just bounced away when you pushed it out. I was following a UA-cam video when doing this and it didn't have the little ball bearing or spring either and I somehow managed to find mine in the dark
Thanak for the video. I did mine today. Mostly ok but a bit of water has clearly been in there. How has yours been since swapping to generic orings? Easy enough to move?
Either the drivers side hub is different with the clutch assembly snap ring or a previous owner installed it wrong because my was extremely difficult to get out
How did you manage finding out the right way of installing the hubs back together? I was watching your video as I'm doing mine and seen you didn't mark it either. When I put it together the inner clutch falls out when I turn it to lock.
Mate, this video is just what I needed! Doing full swivel hub rebuild this week.
Glad to hear it was useful mate! 😁

Much appreciated mate! Thanks for your thoughts 😁
This is great, thanks mate. I do love when videos popup on how to service a "Non-Serviceable Item"! Great job.
Cheers.
Cheers mate! Yea it sure beats just replacing the item if there's nothing majorly wrong with it

Interesting! Mine definitely did not have either of those 🤔
@@house-ofhoon maybe there's a difference in some of them but I'm pretty sure the Haynes manual shows them
Yeah Nick, mine had them, and of course they end up 500m away from where you are working....
Great videos. Love the bar work. Hopefully you'll be selling those kinda scrub bars too.
Cheers mate! Unfortunately, I won't be selling any barwork at this point
I liked the video mate excellent. Keep up with the videos thanks mick cheers
Cheers Mick, appreciate it!

It's been fine so far mate 👍 I honestly can't tell any difference in how hard/easy it is to turn vs standard 😊
Top video, enjoyed watching it👍
Cheers mate! I appreciate it!
Thanks for the video mate something to put on the to do list 🤙🏼
No dramas 🤙 thankyou!
Awesome video, best I’ve seen with a lot of detail about each step. How about how to remove inner axle seal for another video?
Cheers mate 🤙 I've got a video coming soon of removing and installing an inner axle seal on a 80series, which will be the same process for a patrol.
Well there ya go, I was driving past yesterday wondering when a new Vid was going to hit!
Haha, this year will be all about when you least expect it 😜
Ninja vids..
🤣🤣🤣 precisely!!
Just finished, vid was good, don't mind either format, only doing one side?
Cheers mate. I did the other side before the video lol
You had the perfect chance to powder coat the centre red. To-do list for 2032!
Wombats have square poo! PMSL
😮😮 definitely on the to do list!
🤣 Bet you weren't expecting that one! 😁
@@house-ofhoon Must be why they need to poop so much. Punching out Minecraft shaped steamers would take it's toll on the old brown eye. Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Son buenos esos libertadores
10/10? No se pelan, barren ,daña dientes internos?

Could even be manufacturing tolerances
👍👍👍
Do you have video on how to adjust tighten wheel hub.
Unfortunately, I don't mate
@house-ofhoon thanks for replying tho appreciate it. Good content, mate
Cheers mate 🤙

There's a line on the inside of the housing which dictates your height 👍
When u buy manual locking hubs to convert from auto, it says not to grease them, here here you are doing so, which is right??
I'm not sure if there is a "right way". I just know that I've never had an issue with greasing them
hey mate the six pins you take out at the start where do i get them from?
I'm not sure if you can buy them seperate or not. Maybe try patrolapart or road runner?
Just curious did you buy or build your front bar
It's the genuine Nissan bar that came with the patrol when I bought it 👍
Where's your shop
I'm in kyneton mate 👍
@@house-ofhoon bugger too far...love your work mate keep material coming
Cheers mate!
