Didn't even tell us what to eat in the morning before logging into OSRS. (Sorry just having fun with someone of these critique comments) good guide man keep it up
Appreciate the comment. Also, after doing research into who this practical engineering guy is, I must say.. I'm not sure if I'm happy or unhappy about this discovery. :P
Reading the comments like "You didn't show this, you didn't show that" he literally showed everything and explained it all, you need to listen more carefully. I cringe reading these comments.
Can honestly relate quite a bit. I don't mind helping out and replying to comments, but it can be a bit tiring going through multiple comments asking the same sorta questions about things that vary greatly like inventory setups, xp rates, etc. Too many factors to consider and I can't personally calculate that for each and every commenter. Anyway, thanks for the comment and the support. Very much appreciated! Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the guide - quick & concise. I am wondering though, can you just use a bank via a teleport instead (e.g. crafting cape), or is it still recommended to use the bank in the cave, even if it costs 20 runes?
Completely up to you. I'm not sure of how much extra time it would add on in the long run. I'd personally suggest using the bank inside the cave only because you can select which type of rune you'd like to use as payment and at mid-high level Runecraft, you'll make excess compared to what you're spending to bank there.
I sadly haven't had a whole lot of time to work on videos the past year or so, but I do have plans on eventually getting back into it. GOTR is definitely at the top of the list. Keep an eye out! And thank you for the comment! :)
@@BarrysBasics your tempoross guide was top notch. Just as I was getting the hang of it, I got the tackle box and barrel with like 15kc. I'm already 99 fishing so I guess I'm done with that boss 😅
Sorry, friend. I typically don't include very detailed information like that in my guides in order to keep them basic and quick. If you're looking for specific experience rates, I'd suggest checking the wiki. To save you time, I've provided a link to the specific portion of the article showing expected experience rates. oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Ourania_Altar#Experience_rates
Hey, thanks for your comment, and my apologies for the late response time. At roughly about 40 seconds into the video, I have the cave entrance marked with a red circle on this map displayed. Hope this helps!
Hi! Thanks for the questions. I try to keep my guides minimal and basic just to save time for anyone who follows my channel or uses my guides. Earlier in the guide, I do mention gear. I would suggest using weight reducing clothing, unless you have a lower combat level, in which case it may be better to use equipment with high defensive bonuses, or even a mix of both types of equipment. As far as earth runes go, when you are using the Ourania altar you will create most types of runes, including earth runes. Typically, you will create more than enough to use the teleport spell, but if you wish, you can also bring an earth staff or any of the earth combination type staffs, like a lava staff. Hope this helped! :)
Hello, and thank you for your comment. In the guide, I mention teleporting out of the altar and repeating the steps previously mentioned, but to be clear, you can use any of the methods I mentioned in the "Getting There" section to get back to entrance of the dungeon, with Ourania Teleport being the most effective method. Walking back to the bank NPC from the runecrafting altar is also an option, but not recommended due to the added amount of time it would add on. Hope this helped.
I typically don't, just because it will vary from player to player, but your inventory should consist of the best type of rune pouches you can use, and the rest should be rune essence of some sort. Typically any food/potions should be consumed at the bank NPC in order to maximize the amount of essence you can carry with you. Hopefully this helps!
The opening line is what sold me. Everyone else makes guides needlessly long and full of incorrect info.
