I never realized how undervalued Daeyalt essence was until I watched this video. Thank you. It led me to read a Reddit analysis titled 'An analysis of just how effective Daeyalt essence is at ZMI,' which proves its value.
It’s technically not undervalued. It simply makes 1/3 of the total time you invest in active runecrafting afk instead. That is to say, the rate at which you mine it is directly equivalent to the 50% increase in xp. If people want some afk time, they should mine daeyalt. If they want to brute force it actively, they should just use pure essence
With the stacked multiplicitave bonuses of the Daeyalt and the ZMI it might be the only RC activity that actually makes Daeyalt more efficient, especially once you factor in the (admittedly meager) mining xp. It works out to be 255% xp per essence even without it though.
quick math for my goal- 10 hrs rcing (~550 trips) w/ daeyalt essence + 5 hrs of mining vs 15 hrs rcing w/ pure ess (~825 trips). daeyalt way more afkable bc you do 33% less trips for the same xp. not to mention, you get mining xp on top of it. conclusion- time spent is roughly about the same to reach a goal. however, daeyalt is for mining xp + more chill.
Anyway you can do a video for soul runes and blood runes at Arceuus with the lantern? trying to figure out if bloods are better with blisterwood for profit and soul runes with magic logs for better xp rates and slightly more runes.

I did this too for 99 but u never get 115k xp its about 105k max.

Lantern benefits only work within the minigame! Soul runes will be better xp but bloods will be better gp 😁
