@@shareef2489 Let me clarify further actually in order to apply for real estate residency visa which is two years you only need to purchase a property worth 750k in Dubai but what I just explained above is for Golden Visa which is a 10 year visa. Almost all jobs of government organisations either require arabic or UAE nationality. The government career websites sometimes don't really work or you need UAE id to get access
Definately you need Arabic. If it's Government dealing with the public which includes nationals and other Arab then you absolutely need Arabic along with English.

At 19 your mind is a sponge and I also was immersed in the language since in Yemen where I was nobody spoke English so I was forced to speak and I studied daily, gaining vocabulary words , and memorizing them just like we do in grade school. But I would say that you can go to Egypt to learn basic Arabic but then you should watch videos in Arabic surrounding the field you'll be working in. There are all topics present on UA-cam, you'll just need to search for them in Arabic. Even if it's just one word you use for the search then do that and watch videos to train your ear and learn new words. Don't waste your time on vocabulary that won't help you in your work field. Jazakillahu khayran An important question, is it better to gain more ediccational qualifications in the west (Doctorate e.t.c) as it opens more job opportunities in the gulf countries or move with what is available though the contracts are short term (1-2 years) Thanks for your response sister

Don't stay in the west trying to gain more with the hopes of "more opportunities" here which are not guaranteed. Put your trust in Allah and come work with the qualifications that you have.
@hijrahemiraat2990 what if you have no qualifications as in my situation where I was previously incarcerated and had to start a lawn service (10 years ago) because I couldn't get hired and had babies to take care of. Which is why I feel like my only option is to buy a property in order to get a residency visa. From what I researched on homes in Dubai for 750k, will only get you a one bedroom. However, I have a wife and 5 children so was hoping to find something in either Sharjah or Ajman but still face the dilemma of earning a living once I'm there. And just to scrape up 200k usd to buy a home, I'd have to save a little more and sell everything I own.

Your provisions will be provided for you wherever you go on the Earth. You wouldn't start out buying a place to get residency when you come here, you have to come here to see what you can get into. There are franchise opportunities for business that's way less to invest in than buying a property and will get you nice returns in profit. You should take a trip and attend some business expos to expand your mind and see what's available. The UAE is a very competitive country and so many men and women who came from nothing with very little qualifications have become wealthy through doing business. They started small and worked their way up. The original job is making your own so if you're a huslter then come here and get it in I've never had a "job" here. I came here on business and only joined a Real Estate brokerage to learn the ropes but I still had to basically learn on my own because they can't teach. And now I'm solo again doing my own thing and working WITH others and not FOR anyone. The women if they are able must help with brainstorming and aiding the husband when it comes to Hijrah. It's not fair for one person to do all the work.
Can you also make a video about the schooling, and what kind of schools are good if you want you child to learn arabic on school. And also how is it with vaccines and going to school
