Our first cruise was in February this year, a 7 day on the Fantasy. We thought going in it would be one and done … halfway through the cruise we booked the placeholder. We’d never been on one before, and can’t wait to go back.
Oh I was so happy to see JACKIE and ELIANE with Craig and Chris . This is the first time I’ve seen Jackie since she moved back to Washington. I don’t go on vacations, but love watching all of your shows.
We book very few excursions and activities on most cruises so that we can “enjoy the chill vibes”. We come home relaxed, rested, and refreshed. But I agree with Craig about it depending on the itinerary.
I would be curious to know what excursions that Chris did on his Greece cruise and any other tips for that cruise. We are cruising there this summer with DCL.
Could not agree more with overbooking being the biggest mistake. We just got off the Fantasy and did snorkeling excursions at every port, the 5k on Castaway, and ran around onboard constantly getting pictures to get the most value from the photo package. We had a great time but was much too much, our previous cruise was much less structured and SOO much better because of it. We booked the Treasure in early 2025 with the exact same itinerary so we don't have any more port FOMO, looking forward to spending more time just chilling out and exploring the new ship! Bonus tip: DCL is NOT just for families and kids. Our kids are grown and we only cruise with Disney, come join the cult! 😂
I agree with Craig Alaska has so much to offer I personally would never waste a port day reading or napping. On our cruise last year we enjoyed 3 excursions in one day and would do it again in a heartbeat. Definitely depends on where you are cruising to. Good to see some of the travel agents both were very knowledgeable . I really liked the show. Thanks for bringing it to us
One piece of advice for rookies: GET TO YOUR DEPARTURE PORT VICINITY A DAY EARLY! For example: if leaving from Port Canaveral, get to Orlando/PC a day early. Don’t chance embarkation day delays.
I agree with Craig on the planning part in a way, DCL cruises are crazy expensive and like WDW vacations families can only afford it once in a while so the feeling of needing to do it all is a real feeling there, because most normal families can’t book several Disney cruises because of the cost

Happy to see the DCL show is back with Elaine. She is so knowledgeable. As usual, great job hosting Craig.
Love seeing Elaine and Jackie again!

Wow! Chris has a great ‘radio’ voice. He’d be perfect for a radio talk show/podcast.
Loved seeing Jackie back 💕💕
Thanks so much, Mona! I'm thrilled to be back on! 🩵

Definately no nap like a cruise ship nap!
You are NOT kidding about that, Dee!! Best naps EVER!
Great Job folks. Glad to see you back on the air again!
I agree with Craig, I am not a beach person, but ship day person!
Jackie!!! Yay, so glad to see you!!
Great show topic as we're getting ready to sail on our first DCL cruise this coming Summer. Shout out to Elaine, who is our Dreams agent!

What month do you feel is best for a Disney cruise in the Bahamas and/or Caribbean?
Looking to book Alaska probably next year!!!!
They make prescription sunglasses and sunglass attachments for regular glasses
hoping to book one as a grad gift to myself after nursing school next spring! fingers crossed
This is such great info. As I’m watching, I’m picking out my next Disney cruise.

As someone who's going on their first DCL cruise in month, this video is exactly what I needed.
I have loved having Lisa Brown (one of Dreams Unlimited travel agents) help with planning and booking. She has been great!
Lovely to virtually meet and see Chris again! Can’t wait for my cruise 😍
Jackie!!!
TMan!!! 🙂
Chris is great
