I think for me, the thing is that I'm a Disney fan first and a cruise fan second, so any typical cruise activities are going to be enhanced by the presence of Disney theming and Disney characters and Disney music. I've been on Royal Caribbean. My husband and I actually got engaged on Freedom of the Seas back in 2011. We had a great time. The food, the service- all on par with Disney. I'd absolutely like to go on more RC cruises eventually. But at the end of the day, I'm happier being surrounded by Disney magic.🚢
We get that. We were up for trying something new and we still enjoy Disney too. We love the fact that we can sail on either line and still enjoy it is something that we love. You gotta go with what you enjoy the most!
@@joeseatac331 to be honest, I would’ve definitely booked a Disney Cruise if it didn’t stop sailing out of New York City. From what I hear from Travel agents, it is not coming back NYC. So the add-on would be a taxi to the airport, round-trip airfare, cruise fare & insurance. Overnight at a hotel prior to sailing. So that’s a lot of money for me. If Disney ever came back to NYC, Id jump on that ship right away. Just about every cruise line is here in NYC. I call once a month to Disney cruise line and implore to them to bring a ship back to NYC. They have all of New England, and the Midwest to fill their ships, not to mention people that visit from Europe and already in NYC.. fingers crossed that they will bring back the cruise lines to New York City. Every single cruise line is here except Disney😢
Thank you so much for this video 🛳. My husband has been on 12 Disney cruises and myself 7. Our last cruise just a week ago fell very flat, and we were talking about changing it up with RC. Your opinions and comparisons were very helpful and now we're going to look into booking with RC. We do have an almost 9yr old son, so we at not sure about the kids clubs there. I'll be subscribing to your channel as we were also wanting to book the Treasure for next year.
Sorry to hear that your recent cruise fell flat. I think we cruised so much with Disney in three years, that it was good to experience something different and new. We still love and enjoy Disney and we will very much enjoy the treasure next year. But having a fun and different experience will likely either open up more good options or remind you how much you enjoy Disney.
🚢….. this video was so helpful to us… thank you! We just came back from our 1st Disney Cruise on the Wish in October 2024. We are planning to go on RC Utopia of the Seas October 2025. This video helped us confirm the decision! I also loved your daughters perspective. This was awesome, thanks again! 😊
I was on the Disney dream as it repositioned in New York City and we went to Canada last October 2023. I just got off the Liberty of the Seas with Royal Caribbean out of New York City and we went to Bermuda. Both ships were great. What stood out for me on Royal Caribbean Was that it was a much more livelier ship. There was so much more to do and so many more options to choose from. The dining room was gorgeous, three levels and the buffet was excellent. On the other hand, Disney is in a league of its own because it’s Disney themed. I loved it. I absolutely am a Disney fanatic. The state rooms on both ships were, in my opinion, great. The split bathroom on Disney was lovely. I was traveling solo this time so it didn’t matter about the split bathroom. The food on both ships in my opinion was great. I like the promenade on Royal Caribbean. They had the Saturday night fever show that was performed above everybody’s head on a stage in the promenade. I found that to be very clever which was so much fun with the promenade filled with the passengers and a lot of audience participation. They also had an ice-skating rink of which I did not use. There was free pizza and ice cream all day and all night. On Disney, I really enjoyed Canada and did a sightseeing excursion. We were in Port only one day. On Royal we were in Bermuda for two days. Both cruises were five day long cruises. What can I say, Bermuda is gorgeous and the beaches are beyond spectacular. For me on this particular vacation hands-down, Royal Caribbean. The people & staff on board Royal, for some reason, we’re so much more friendlier. On RC, there were so many more things to do at night right up until 1 AM . I did the excursions by myself. So much cheaper and very easy. $8.00 to get to the beach of your choice from the ship, and then I hailed a taxi back for $20.00 as opposed to taking the bus for only $4.00 The island is pristine and very safe. If I was on a Caribbean island I would’ve definitely been on an excursion from the ship for safety reasons. If you like a ship that is livelier and had lots more things to do, then Royal Caribbean is for you. They do have lots of things for children . They have 2 waterparks. 1 for young children and the other for teenagers and adults. Do your research and then make your choice. I give both cruise lines A+. As previously mentioned, Royal Caribbean hands-down for this particular sailing. It went above and beyond.
It’s great when you have a few cruise lines that you know you will enjoy no matter what! Moore options is always the best 😊 and the way you describe Bermuda makes us wanna go someday!!!
This has been the most helpful video. I recently cancelled our Treasure cruise in April and booked Symphony instead. I feel so much better about the switch and I love all of your comparisons. Having 2.5 hour dinners sounds excruciatingly painful and I do not want a set dining room each night except nights where have booked special dining experiences. While our kids will be in the kids clubs on Symphony, they will enjoy any clubs regardless.
Wow! We haven’t heard people canceling a treasure cruise for a Royal Caribbean cruise yet! You know your family best, and you should go with what they think they would enjoy the most for sure! And we usually take that long for dinner because we do actually really enjoy it, mostly because we love getting to know our servers and the entertainment (when there is a entertainment or a show included w/ dinner) is a lot of fun too. It’s definitely not just eating food. If you wanted to, you could definitely get in and out of there in about an hour to hour and a half. We just really enjoy taking our time 😊
@Julmango that’s a tough one! We chose Treasure because we didn’t want to do 2 RC cruises in a row 😂 And we still love DCL 😊 And the theming of the Treasure is great!!!
Thank you so much for this video! We have been on a back to back cruise last August on the Disney Fantasy and are now looking for next summer. We were really debating the last few weeks to chose another cruiseline or to pay the extra for a Disney cruise again. Your video actually made up our minds, we are Disney cruisers, not regular cruisers, if we go, we need to do Disney again.
Haha! That’s so great 😊 When someone told us that, it just kind of made sense. I’m still not sure if we know what we are yet. We definitely enjoy vacations besides just cruising, we really enjoy Disney, but we also like to try new & different things. We’re not your typical Disney people who only always do Disney. And we’re totally OK with that! And we also love that some people totally enjoy Disney and only do that because that is what works for them 😊
Your video just came across my feed; enjoyed watching it and your candid, honest opinions! Am Diamond Tier on Royal Caribbean; Sapphire Tier on NCL; Platinum on Princess, and Silver working on Gold on Disney. Yours is the first comparison I’ve seen for RCL vs DCL. It was great. Honestly, I don’t know if I could do what you did😂… I just love cruising. We just make every cruise an adventure and experience! Every Liner has its own unique style and consequently, strengths and weaknesses. We just choose to make it a positive experience! 😉
We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise before we experienced Disney. I liked the food better on Royal but prefer better the Disney cruises, because of their themes, the vibe, fireworks, the ships in general, which are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing! We always enjoy your videos ❤
I really appreciate how thorough and well thought out your comparison was. Like you, we have been on several DCL cruises, but we have not experienced RC. My son has aged out of the Imagineers club now and I think the variety that RC brings would be a lot of fun for him now that he is older. We love Disney but the price and value that RC seems to bring is very tempting!
I’ve been looking very forward to this comparison. I appreciate your genuine opinions based on your experiences. We absolutely adore Disney but we do look forward to just trying out many other cruise lines too!
🛳️ Thanks for a great breakdown! We have only ever done Disney but have talked about trying Royal when our boys are a little older. My worry was always if it would be as relaxing as Disney is for me and this video was reassuring!
Helpful video. We are Disney people and just got off the Fantasy. Signed up for Disney Treasure next time. Anxious to change cruise lines but we plan to do Royal after this next cruise. This comparison was helpful.
This was great! We always price out Royal and I feel like by the time I add all of the “extras” with Royal, the price ends up the same. Did you feel like once you added in specialty dining etc that you still saved? 🚢
It was very close, if not a little cheaper. For sure cheaper than our upcoming 7 night sailing on the Treasure next summer. Even with the dining package. Our one dinner at Remy in the Fantasy was more than a 3 night specialty dining package for 2 of us!
🛳🚢This was so helpful! We are booked on a head to head trip next year - Disney Wish vs Utopia of the Seas! Those are the competitors doing the 3 nighters out of Port Canaveral, both going to Nassau and then Castaway or Coco Cay. We even booked the same type of stateroom to try to be fair. We are Diamond status on Royal but haven't been on a Disney ship in 20 years, even though we are massive Disney fans. We are excited to compare our experiences as you did, too.
Thanks for the awesome comparison. We love your videos. We have only ever been on Disney, going on number 8 next summer on the Treasure. Also, just a FYI, got off the Fantasy last month and customs in Port Canaveral finally has facial recognition. We were off the ship in less than 30 mins after being called. 🛳️
Really great and thorough comparison. We are Disney fanatics, but have never been on a Disney cruise. My 23 year old son has always wanted to go on a cruise and we picked Royal this coming Jan. due to the price and it seemed more of a good fit for him. This video really helped confirm in my mind that we made the right choice. I'd like to cruise on a Disney ship someday, but I think we're going to have a great time on Royal Caribbean.
🚢 we just went on our first ever cruise on the Wish and your videos were super helpful as we planned. We’re already booked for our next one. The longer the video the better! Also I will say that our disembarkation was incredibly smooth with Disney. There were no lines. We got right off, grabbed our bags, they scanned our face (I heard that was only available if you opted to use passport and not birth certificate), and we went straight to our shuttle bus.
I'm curious about your comparison of the spa. I was on the Icon in February (3rd sailing) and loved the sauna access. Also the spa juice bar was included in the drink package. I'm considering the spa sauna pass on the Wonder. Lastly, I believe the embarkation offerings in Windjammer are only limited to the new ships during their inaugural season. I wish I had known beforehand because we missed out in an attempt to avoid the known Windjammer first day rush. 😢
We did not use the spa on Royal Caribbean. We’ve never done the rainforest pass on any of the Disney ships, but we enjoyed a couples spa suite and massage on the fantasy and Carrie has gotten a massage on a few other cruises. she loved each one of them. We’ve heard the rainforest pass on the older ships aren’t worth it. It seems to be better on the fantasy, dream and wish simply because there’s more options to enjoy. In regards to embarkation lunch offerings in the windjammer, we heard they are starting to offer more options for that lunch on oasis and icon class ships, not just inaugural cruises, which is likely why we got lobster on our embarkation lunch this summer!
We’ve been on Disney and Royal one time each. We went on Disney when our kids were younger and Royal with teenagers. And our teenage kids were comparing Royal to Disney the entire time. For example, when we got on the ship they missed the introductions we had on Disney. And we loved the dining and shows at Disney. We liked both ships and both experiences but overall we would choose Disney again! Keep in mind we didn’t have a suite on Royal :) just standard rooms on both.
Love following along and I appreciate the comparison! We are looking forward to our first Disney cruise next year not sure when we will try Royal. Being in FL makes cruising a little more affordable! 🛳️
Great video!! Loved all the comparisons! We’ve done 3 Royal Caribbean cruises & 3 Disney Love Disney, but not paying big bucks for 3or 4 days We prefer 7 days, & the prices for the new ships? Is out of our “ Retirement” price range 😂😂
A part of me wishes y’all would’ve done a couple more Royal cruises before doing an apples to apples comparison. It’s not all that fair to RCC for you to have gone on several Disney and only one Royal. For example I’ve been on 5 Royal cruises so I would totally be more familiar and comfortable than I work on my first Disney cruise. Great family and great content! Just an observation, keep up the great work 😊
We get that, but we also didn’t want to wait till we were on 2 or 3 more cruises before making an initial comparison video, cause that would be three or four years away for us 😂 Also, so many people who watch our channel were asking us to make this video. We definitely have cruises with Royal or other cruise lines in our future! And three of the four in our family preferring Royal overall isn’t bad after just one Royal Caribbean cruise!!
@@AdventuresinMillerland My friend and I had a phenomenal time. I was a wee bit jealous of the suite class. Our ship was full and even the Solarium was a bit to busy for my liking. Jacuzzi’s always full. That’s minor however. We had a balcony and I enjoyed quiet time out there as well as at the stern on the promenade deck, were a deck and brought out some chairs and it was just awesome. One of the things that impressed me the most that I had never seen on any cruise ship was the day that they honored our heroes. Elvis, the Cruise Director got the entire Royal promenade to observe a moment of silence followed by taps. So moving.
That’s so cool to hear that. We didn’t see that on the schedule so we didn’t know that happened. Roy has a lot of great things about it. So does Disney. We think it’s perfectly good to have a few different cruise lines we really enjoy for different reasons! So glad you had a great time 😊 even if you weren’t in a suite 😉
🛳️ We enjoyed the comparison video, thanks! It was very helpful. I think we need to give RC a try soon but you made us homesick for another Disney cruise. Disney does so many things right sounds like RC does too. We laughed throughout the video with the interaction between you two, so funny because so relatable as a couple. The comparison of Perfect Day at Coco Cay vs Castaway Cay was very helpful too. We don’t have kids but appreciate the family or more quiet atmosphere rather than the party scene so nice to hear you didn’t have to go to the adults only area on Coco Cay to relax. No worries that we are going to unsubscribe since you enjoyed some things more on RC vs Disney. 😂 Take care and we will see you in your next video.
It’s worth trying if you can do it, but you gotta go with what you want to experience. For us, we really wanted to try something different and we’re glad we did!
If it’s in your price range,, definitely Disney. You know your kids best, but that is a great age for a Disney Cruise! Royal would be fun, but if they would get excited about character characters, all the different theme elements and shows, Disney does it best for that age range. Since our girls are older and aren’t as into those things as much anymore, for us Royal fit our girls age & stage a bit better.
🛳️ Heading on Symphony of the seas next week with a toddler and this helps to compare. On RC the great choice of having a balcony facing inwards to all the action on many of their ships seems like a nice idea. Would pick Disney if this was an option or it wasnt priced out. Its almost double for a similar duration cruise to get a balcony there.
Disney is definitely pricier! Worth checking out if you can find an option that is doable with your budget, as it is great for families with young kids. We think you’re gonna really enjoy your cruise on Symphony, though! Would be curious about your kid’s experience in Adventure Ocean, their kids club! If you think of it, feel free to reply and let us know what you thought after your cruise 😊
We went on our first cruise ever with our then 2 year old last December (Fantasy) I now have a 3 year old & 3 month old... I think while they are young we will be staying with Disney (also using it as an excuse for me hahaha) but once they are older RC. I think too for something pricier like Alaska I would look into something other than DCL. I appreciate y'alls video!!
I've been on all 5 Disney ships. Six DCL cruises in all. We just got off the Magic and we were disappointed with lookout cay compared to castaway cay. We had a back to back scheduled on DCL next September too lookout which we canceled and book RC to Canada and New England on the Brilliance of the Seas. We have done 3 RC cruises in the past. Oasis, Allure and Symphony. DCL seems to be offering very similar ports and destinations over and over again. We decided to go back and forth between DCL and RC and we are Disney people...Disney Vacation Club Members and WDW AP holders. We do have the Treasure and Destiny booked :)
That’s sad to hear about Lookout Cay. We’ve heard mixed reviews. We do hope to eventually go and when we do, we hope it’s a better experience than the initial crowd that has gone there. It would be fun to do a cruise with both Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay! We agree about the itineraries. We’re hopeful that with plans to bring a lot more ships online for DCL, that they will start offering more varied itineraries.
Thank you! We actually enjoyed the vibes this go around. It was likely partly due to having a suite. But knowing you can have that experience with the same price, if not a little cheaper than a standard Disney veranda room made it very worth it for us! Definitely worth trying if you have a chance, but we get having a love for Disney too 😊
🚢 I still haven’t been on a cruise but I keep looking between Royal or Disney. I kind of worry about Disney being too many kids even though I’m a “Disney Adult”, but I’ve heard it’s still amazing. I keep looking at Icon and a suite for the sky benefits, but I wonder if an ocean balcony would be best bet.
Because the icon is so new still, the suites are gonna be very pricey. We would suggest trying out a suite on an oasis class ship, since those have been out for a little while now. You would very much love Disney and your experience there. If you’re worried about kids, find a good time to go or school is in session and there’s no breaks. Most likely if you’re going on a three or four cruise you’re gonna have lots of families but the longer cruises in the middle of the school year you might see less kids. Best to find a travel agent and get their input because the good ones have gone on a lot of cruises and would have a better idea!
🛳️ - I did watch in spurts! 😅 We just got off the Fantasy at Port Canaveral and they did the face scanning for customs not the face to face. Enjoyed watching this vlog for the comparison - I have recommended your channel to others comparing the two cruise lines!
You could go on 2 cruises a year if you just did balcony on Royal. Chris I knew Chris was going Disney. I love Royal I’ve been on 10 cruises some times twice a year. I hope you guys go on another Royal cruise. I love you guys!
🛳️ Have never been on a RC but did 2 cruises on another cruise line and then did our first Disney cruise and we enjoyed it so much that we booked another Disney cruise (and we really want to go on the Destiny in the future). I loved your comparisons though! We are more of a relaxing/chill family, so we find the Disney cruises more of our speed. The no port holes on RC would definitely be a deal breaker for us too. We also appreciate the no casinos and that the ship is so much quieter at night on Disney. We also love all the entertainment and characters on Disney (not to mention the towel animals and chocolates every night). However, with teenagers and thrill seekers, I can definitely see the appeal of RC.
Love the comparisons. Only been on 1 cruise on the wonder…I like the quiet and chill vibe as a non party adult. But good to know you can achieve that on Royal. 🚢
Love this comparison! I agree that the muster drill on Royal is the best and Coco Cay is better than Castaway Cay, although it hurts a little to admit that! Jet skis just recently came back to Castaway Cay!
Going on the Disney Fanatsy tomorrow, Harmony of the Seas over new years. 13 on Disney, only 3 on RCCL, so far. Enjoy them both, but Disney feels like home. Either way you’re on the water in on vacation, so you can’t go wrong.
🚢 35 days til my next cruise on Disney Fantasy. Enjoyed your video, you have me thinking maybe I need to try RC and visit Coco Cay. Just hard to depart from Disney.
The girls' perspective is super interesting! It confirms what i (somebody who has never cruised but loves watching cruise vlogs) already suspected. Royal is best for teens and adults while disney caters the best to children and adults
That’s pretty much what we experienced. Disney could do a lot better job at catering to older kids and teens. But they know their core audience is younger families with little kids.
Do not feel bad about people unfollowing you lol I like Coco Cay a lot better than Castaway Cay and I really like both. Great comparison overall! Loved it!🚢🛳
🚢 Of course I watched until the end 😊 Loved your comparisons. We’re definitely looking into Royal. If someone gave me $10k, I would get on 2 of the new Disney ships! ❤️
We love everything about Royal Caribbean!! Getting on and off Royal ships, they do it the smoothest and fastest of any cruise line and their private islands are fantastic!! ⚓️
🛳🛳🛳🛳🛳 Never been on a Disney Cruise. Really want to one day!! Our family of all older kids had a blast on RC on the Oasis (very similar to the Symphony) . FYI: had tons of iced coffees and specialty coffees for free on RC on a regular balcony (not suite) on their cafes on both central park and The Royal Promenade. Was really looking forward to this comparison video, so thank you!
I had a feeling it was going to go down this way 😂 BUT this was a great breakdown. There’s a cruise line for every type of occasion. We waffled between Virgin or Royal for our non-DCL cruise next year and chose Virgin. If y’all ever do a couples only cruise or wait until the girls get older I’d be interested to see what y’all think of Virgin!
Thanks 😊 and yes! Both a great depending on what you want. Not sure if Virgin is for us. We’re not into the dance/party scene. We’d likely sail on Celebrity if we did an adults cruise!
I think the vibe depends on which Royal ship you are on plus what time of year you sail. We aren’t party people either but on our Royal cruise, we felt very young. Our teen and tween were some of the only kids as we sailed during school term. Plus with the dining rooms, I think on the Quantum class they intended to do a type of rotational dining as there’s 4 MDR but I don’t know that it ever happened. Disney is the only cruise line that does the announcing as you board as far as I know. Introverted me prefers to not be announced 😊 🛳️🚢 We loved the Disney cruise but we’d prefer to cruise more often. Currently saving up to take the kids to Tokyo Disneyland.
We've been on both and they are both nice and well maintained but there is just something about Disney that sets the apart from the rest. It may not be the activities but they are all around just such a amazing cruise line. We like Royal Caribbean but we LOVE DCL!
You said it really well! The challenge is, Disney is very $$$, so we will likely need to sail on other lines for certain itineraries. Still will enjoy it but Disney will always be amazing and our first option if we can do it!
We don’t have any plans to sail on Icon, since it’s based out of Miami, but we hope to sail on Star of the Seas at some point. That will be Icon’s sister ship. Our next cruise will be on the Treasure 😊
Thanks for the comparison. We have friends who would like for us to sail RC….. we will stick with Disney as we are working our way to Pearl and it’s just magical sailing with the mouse❣️Disney has face scanning technology now🎉
Loved your review. I only cruised NCL and it was one of the special sixthman cruises so definitely not run like a regular cruise, but it was great and like somethings more then DCL and other things not as good or same etc I can wait till I try Virgin in 2025
Been on both and love both. Leaning towards Disney now because my kids are younger and find they enjoyed the live shows more. Disney also had movie theaters which we utilized. The kids also got antsy at dinner on RC so appreciated the entertainment at dinner with Disney. Booked for Treasure summer 2025🛳️
🚢 My husband and I have been on 7 Disney cruises with #8 and #9 booked and 11 royal cruises with #12 #13 and #14 booked and we love both in different ways. We love your cruise vlogs they are very fun and informative. Thank you for bringing them to us😊
🚢 I think in some categories you are comparing a newer larger Royal ship to older smaller Disney ships. I’m sure the older smaller Royal ships don’t have all of the amenities that are on Symphony of the Seas either. We’ve been to Castaway once and I agree that it would be nice if there was a pool. Kind of surprised they didn’t include one at Lookout. We’ve been on 2 Disney cruises ( Wonder and Fantasy) and have a 3rd booked (Dream). Will probably stick with Disney while our granddaughter still enjoys it, although I have to say I’d enjoy it even without her. Just something magical about a Disney cruise. But I’m not opposed to trying a different cruise line sometime.
When I went on my Disney cruise, I did not like Castaway Cay. I only lasted about 5 minutes after getting off the tram before I got back onto the tram and got back on the ship.
Curious how you could tell you didn’t like Castaway Cay after only being there for a few minutes? We have come to really enjoy it and it’s just a different experience than what we experienced at Coco Cay.
@@AdventuresinMillerland My main problem is that it was just so hot. I just wanted air conditioning lol Also as a Disney lover I was a little disappointed by the lack of Disney merch.

Thanks!!

Hope you enjoy it! I’m glad we could help a little bit 😊 Thanks for saying hi!!
Thank you so much for the comparison! I really appreciate it!And I like the teen point of view too!🥰

We just really enjoy taking our time 😊
We’re tempted to cancel Treasure for Icon. #decisions
And we also love that some people totally enjoy Disney and only do that because that is what works for them 😊
I love the salted caramel coconut latte on the Wonder. Watching your video reminded me of how much I miss it!
It's so good!
Adding this to my list of things to try when I go in March.
We hope to try other cruise lines in the future! But there are probably a few we wouldn’t sail on because our budget and time off is limited.
🚢 thanks for your videos! We are using you guys as prep for our cruise next year with Disney in Spain!
How fun!!!
We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise before we experienced Disney. I liked the food better on Royal but prefer better the Disney cruises, because of their themes, the vibe, fireworks, the ships in general, which are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing! We always enjoy your videos ❤
So fun that you could try both!
It’s definitely worth giving Royal a shot. We recommend trying the newer larger ships (Oasis or Icon class).
I’ve been looking very forward to this comparison. I appreciate your genuine opinions based on your experiences. We absolutely adore Disney but we do look forward to just trying out many other cruise lines too!
Thank you 🥰
🛳️ Thanks for a great breakdown!
So glad this was helpful! It’s great to have a few cruise lines we know we will enjoy 😊 Have fun on the Treasure!
🚢 did you book the suite originally or did you use the royal up bidding?
Yes we booked the suite
🚢 this was the video I was waiting for!! Yay soooo helpful thank you!
You're so welcome!
🛳️ y’all are the cutest!!!!
🥹🥰
🛳🚢This was so helpful! We are booked on a head to head trip next year - Disney Wish vs Utopia of the Seas! Those are the competitors doing the 3 nighters out of Port Canaveral, both going to Nassau and then Castaway or Coco Cay. We even booked the same type of stateroom to try to be fair. We are Diamond status on Royal but haven't been on a Disney ship in 20 years, even though we are massive Disney fans. We are excited to compare our experiences as you did, too.
That sounds like such a fun time! We hope you have a great time comparing and enjoying the best of both!!
I love both but after visiting lighthouse cay? Made me appreciate Cococay that much much more.
Fair enough!
lookout cay was extremely disappointing for us
Thanks for the awesome comparison. We love your videos. We have only ever been on Disney, going on number 8 next summer on the Treasure. Also, just a FYI, got off the Fantasy last month and customs in Port Canaveral finally has facial recognition. We were off the ship in less than 30 mins after being called. 🛳️
Thanks! We’ve heard that from a number of there in the comments! That’s great hear 😊
Disney cruise is so much fun, but I think you will e joy Royal!
🚢 love your videos! Can't wait to see the Treasure videos next summer!
Yay! Thank you!
So glad to hear that!! That’s fantastic to hear!
🚢 really useful comparison!!! Loved hearing how the girls have slightly different views to you both on some portions too
Glad you enjoyed it!
AWSOME review!! We are headed to Disney World and Universal this week. A lifetime dream for our Audra!! We are so excited, especially for her. 🚢
Thanks! How fun!!! Hope you all have such a great time 😊 Audra is gonna love it!
Both have great aspects to them 😊
This was a great video! You really provided a lot of information.
Glad it was helpful!
Love following along and I appreciate the comparison! We are looking forward to our first Disney cruise next year not sure when we will try Royal. Being in FL makes cruising a little more affordable! 🛳️
Have fun!
🚢 you guys did great! Answered all my questions
Yay! So glad to hear it was helpful 😊
Great video!! Loved all the comparisons!
We’ve done 3 Royal Caribbean cruises & 3 Disney
Love Disney, but not paying big bucks for 3or 4 days
We prefer 7 days, & the prices for the new ships? Is out of our “ Retirement” price range 😂😂
Makes total sense!
I went on my first Royal and my first Disney last year within 4 months of each other. While I enjoyed Royal, I LOVED Disney 🛳️🚢
So fun that you could go on both in the same year!
So much fun!!!! Which Disney ship did u go on and for how long??? ( I’m on my 11th with Disney 😅)
@@AdventuresinMillerlandthat’s a good combination. What’s your favorite Disney ship as adults and your kids favorite ship that Disney offers
I’m on a plane right now headed to Bayonne. Sailing on Symphony tomorrow 🛳️❤️
I love your vids,
Hope you enjoy it!
@@AdventuresinMillerland Thanks. ❤️
Thanks so much!! Appreciate the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it 😊
🛳 Love, love your video! Thank you for taking the time to do it. I'm still not sure if I want to go on another cruise line besides Disney 🤔
It’s worth trying if you can do it, but you gotta go with what you want to experience. For us, we really wanted to try something different and we’re glad we did!
Great video , thank you ❤
We’re glad you enjoyed it!
🛳️🚢 Great video so informative especially about the coffee that is really important.
It really is!
Would you recommend a dcl or royal cruise as a first time cruise for a family with kiddos in the age range of 8-10?
🚢🛳️ I'm still here listening to you guys! You're both so funny and I love the "interruptions" from your kids. 😂
😂 That was great
Love both cruise lines 🛳️ overall - multiple times on both . Awesome experience every time.
I Love your video. ❤ 🩷Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
🚢 We had Savio and Ariel as our servers on the Wonder in August. Loved them both! Enjoyed the comparison!
Yay!!! We so enjoyed having them as our servers 😊
Thank you and we’re in full agreement with what you shared 😊
We just went on our first Royal cruise to Alaska in May and definitely loved it!... however...we did miss that touch of Disney magic and service
How fun, and we get that!
@@AdventuresinMillerland We are doing both in Jan 2026 on the Destiny!
🚢 great comparison! I want to try, but I love Disney so much. I keep hearing the “vibes” are so different and that’s why I still lean towards Disney.
We’ve heard that from others too! That’s great news 😊 Hope you had a great time!
😂. 🛳️🚢⛴️ hubby and I watched the whole video so we’re giving you three ships 😄
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! Thank you!
You could go on 2 cruises a year if you just did balcony on Royal. Chris I knew Chris was going Disney. I love Royal I’ve been on 10 cruises some times twice a year. I hope you guys go on another Royal cruise. I love you guys!
Yes, that is kind of my plan-one Disney and one Royal or Carnival per year.
We hope to at some point! It’s not always about quantity for us (limited time off), it’s sometimes about the quality of our experience 😊
All great reasons to sail with Disney! We loved the towel animals we got on RC, but no chocolates 😢
Good video. For price and not a disney fan, I have no desire but enjoyed your 4 opinions
Thanks for watching!
Love the comparisons. Only been on 1 cruise on the wonder…I like the quiet and chill vibe as a non party adult. But good to know you can achieve that on Royal. 🚢
Thanks!
I been on a lot of Royal Caribbean cruise ships love the large ships. I have not been on Disney if I was to go what ship would you suggest.
Probably the Fantasy or the Treasure 😊
Love this comparison! I agree that the muster drill on Royal is the best and Coco Cay is better than Castaway Cay, although it hurts a little to admit that! Jet skis just recently came back to Castaway Cay!
Thank you 😊 Were so excited that the jet skis are back!!
Three 🚢 🚢 🚢 up for your great review and comparison with Disney! We have girls similar in ages so also great to get their thoughts! ❤❤❤
Thank you 🤗
I saw mint soft serve ice cream earlier this month on the Fantasy
Whut?!?! We love hearing that! It should definitely be a part of the regular rotation of flavors on seven night cruises 😋
🚢 I'll probably never be able to go on either cruise line so I live vicariously through your adventures
🥰
Going on the Disney Fanatsy tomorrow, Harmony of the Seas over new years. 13 on Disney, only 3 on RCCL, so far. Enjoy them both, but Disney feels like home. Either way you’re on the water in on vacation, so you can’t go wrong.
YES!!! So right on that 😊 Have an amazing time on the Fantasy!
I flew off the Fantasy in July. Facial recognition was amazing, but only offered for those traveling with us passport.
Great to hear that update!!
🚢 35 days til my next cruise on Disney Fantasy. Enjoyed your video, you have me thinking maybe I need to try RC and visit Coco Cay. Just hard to depart from Disney.
So fun! Have a great time!
Loved this comparison video!! 🚢
So glad!
Loved it!🚢🛳
Thank you so much!!
Recently went on Disney and they used the face recognition for customs and it was very easy to get off the ship 🚢
So good to hear that!
🚢 Of course I watched until the end 😊 Loved your comparisons. We’re definitely looking into Royal. If someone gave me $10k, I would get on 2 of the new Disney ships! ❤️
🥹🥰 Great choice!
I love your videos. Thanks for the comparison.🚢
Glad you like them!
🛳 My 4th Disney cruise is coming up in November, but RC is next up on our list to try!
So fun! Have a great time 😊
We love everything about Royal Caribbean!!
Good to know!!!
A good video. Thanks for all the good info.
Of course!
Did you have to pay extra for soda on either ship?
On Royal, yes. On Disney, no - it’s included.
I’m a RC girl. Different shows in different ships. Will be back on RC on Sunday! 🎉
Have fun!
Loved this comparison 🛳️
So glad! Thanks for watching 😃
Introverted me prefers to not be announced 😊
🛳️🚢
We loved the Disney cruise but we’d prefer to cruise more often. Currently saving up to take the kids to Tokyo Disneyland.
I think you’re probably correct in that. And TDR is on our bucket list!!
🚢🛳️ So much good from both lines!
Yes!!
🚢 watched to the end
🚢 I really want you to cruise Icon of the Seas! Would love your comparison.
It’s $1k cheaper than the Treasure. So undecided.
We don’t have any plans to sail on Icon, since it’s based out of Miami, but we hope to sail on Star of the Seas at some point. That will be Icon’s sister ship. Our next cruise will be on the Treasure 😊
We cruise out of Galveston in 4 weeks. Ready for a vacation
Hope you have a restful and fun time 😀☺️
Thanks for the comparison. We have friends who would like for us to sail RC….. we will stick with Disney as we are working our way to Pearl and it’s just magical sailing with the mouse❣️Disney has face scanning technology now🎉
We heard from others saying they have sped up disembarkation! That’s so great! Working towards Pearl is huge! Magical and $$ but we love it too 😊
Loved your review. I only cruised NCL and it was one of the special sixthman cruises so definitely not run like a regular cruise, but it was great and like somethings more then DCL and other things not as good or same etc
I can wait till I try Virgin in 2025
Hope you enjoy Virgin!
Disney would be best for younger kids. When in Summer are you all sailing on the Treasure?!
@@AdventuresinMillerland we leave July 19th
Love all the information 🛳️
Glad you enjoyed!
Which RCL ship were you own?
Symphony of the Seas! We have a number of vlogs on our channel from our time in her this summer 😊
🚢 My husband and I have been on 7 Disney cruises with #8 and #9 booked and 11 royal cruises with #12 #13 and #14 booked and we love both in different ways. We love your cruise vlogs they are very fun and informative. Thank you for bringing them to us😊
That is awesome!
Yep! We were aware we were doing that. We likely wouldn’t sail on an older RC ship, but we heard they may be building some newer small ships!
🛳️loved the symphony vlogs. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed!
I just wanted air conditioning lol
Also as a Disney lover I was a little disappointed by the lack of Disney merch.
🚢 Port canaveral has the face scan now it’s really quick. Line moved better this last cruise Nov 2024
we’ve heard a few other people share that and it’s great to hear it’s helping to speed things up 😊
