If I was ever recorded like this when I was working a fast food job, my petty would kick in and you would get EXACTLY the corporate approved amount, which is less than you want. Employees tend to overserve on portions at places like this, but there's no way I'm overserving on camera

The issue is now they’re trying to underserve for more money. The script has flipped. Get a clue

@@freddurstedgebono6029"Get a clue" you say, as literal fast food workers tell you they usually overserve and give larger portion sizes. Forcing someone to be on film will give you the exact corporate amount, which is usually less than workers will give you.
You're literally helping the corporations save money. The workers do NOT care and do NOT get more money by giving you less.
"Bullying" is putting it mildly. This is straight up harassment.
I heard about this from a short and thought it sounded so freaking weird. I would hate to be working at chipotle right now.

As someone who's dealt with rude customers working in restaurants, I'd literally rather pay for an extra portion than stress out the employees lol
@@t_ylr i havent worked in a restaurant job but I have worked many minimum wage jobs and I feel like that’s the thing. The people filming have probably never worked minimum wage.
People are doing all of THIS for food from a place that has had multiple ecoli outbreaks recently.

Well as everyone knows, there is a whole secret fleet of workers at every place that reward you for being rude to the employees- this makes perfect sense

Yeah I worked a place where my boss would scream at me if my scoop wasn't PERFECT. I was scooping chicken nuggets. If I scooped you 2 instead of 4 I'd get screamed at for going back. If my scoop was rounded I got screamed at.
She finally stopped one day when a lady asked for double meat, I scooped her double meat and this boss came out screaming and berating me like I was an idiot. Customer went off on her.
I wish people would put the kind of effort they do towards getting enough Chipotle towards being considerate instead 😂

Right?! I've been in situations in the past where customers have gotten upset/difficult about things. I can't imagine someone whipping out their phone and being like "Why didn't you give me the discount??! I'M A LOYAL CUSTOMER! Waaghh! 😤" 😂😂😂 Nightmare right there. I'd say excuse me and go grt a manager as soon as someone put a phone in my face to berate me.

Ok, so i just stopped working at Subway, but recently, they've been getting on us for portions. Before, you kinda eyeball it with the scoops because the portions we're told to give are pretty small. Now, we are supposed to scoop only enough to "fill" it (aka the top of the scoop).
Another example of this:
Portion for olives on a Footlong is 9, but when you put that on a sandwich, you can tell that's not enough. It's happening at every restaurant, and our bonuses have been threatened because of it.
That ending was hella trippy lol
They're protesting by purchasing the product they're dissatisfied with.... You vote with your wallet, people. That's the only vote that counts to corporations, complaints do nothing if they are still profiting.

I went to Chipotle for like the first time in some years. I was asked if I want "queso", which means "cheese". I was given a splash of white sauce, charged $2 for it, and grilled at the counter over what I ordered. I had no idea I ordered $2 for a splash of white sauce. Sorry, I don't care. They find clever ways to manipulate upsales. "Queso" used to mean shredded cheese there, now it's an abbreviated trick to toss a small drizzle of 2 teaspoons of sauce then shake you down for $2 if you aren't aware of what's going on.
They've referred to the cheese sauce as queso for years there. And as a rule of thumb, when a fast food employee asks you if you want something like that, it's going to be an upcharge, but they're supposed to say do you want to "add ___" because the word "add" implies the charge
How long has it been since you last went? Queso has referred to the liquid cheese sauce for at least a few years now. I’ve never had them refer to the shredded cheese as queso, even in the years before they developed the liquid cheese; they always just called it cheese.

Double wrapped? Cheese? Lettuce? Corn? Salsa?And no, I don't shop at Chipotle regularly. They hire bilingual people everywhere; it's actually "Queso Blanco" not "Queso". So yeah, I hear "queso" and I think "cheese" because I know what "queso" in Spanish is.

"Queso" is not "Queso Blanco" many people are bilingual and there are hundreds of places we haven't been in over 5 years. Yes, you need to specify if you're upselling not just "queso". And they ask many ingredients not just upsells so stop

Brits actually have some knowledge of the rest of the world. i.e. they don’t think Spain is in Mexico or paella is mexican (I say this as a Spanish person living in the US)

They're being held accountable bc they started skimping everyone and weren't consistent with portions. All they have to do is give normal full spoon fulls to every customer. No more, no less. Ta da!
I stopped going to chipotle because they started giving like no protein. They pick up a half a scoop and then dump half of it back in. So not to be like this, but I totally get the trends and I don’t understand why you don’t. If you’re paying for food you should get the food you’re paying for.

I have been to multiple Chipotles in London and the portion sizes are way smaller.
Corporate should just announce anyone filming their servers like this can be asked to leave.
I am disappointed in you saying there is no proof that Chipotle is giving smaller portions.
If you did any research at all... you'd know there is proof.
There are many videos of people ordering the same bowl from multiple Chipotle and receiving inconsistent portions from each place. Also when weighing the protein, they are sometimes only receiving half a much grand as the serving size should be (as indicated on the Chipotle website).
