I've been using Absynth 5 for a lot of sound design/pads/monsters lately, because i feel like you can get a whole new echelon of precision with it than FM8 or Massive. Your tuts on it REALLY help. So thank you, you warm my heart, and my tunes.
Cool tut. Thanks Evan. Couldn't you put a side chain on the audio coming from the synth so it ducks when you speak? That way you don't have to talk so loud during playback. Just my 2 cents :p
great introduction to morphing I shall try this with my moog voyager. I already have my own morphing vision but elements of this information may prove relevent at some stage. Thank you.
it depends on how precise you want things to be. If it's a filter sweep, I'll tend to draw it in to be really precise, but if it's something that's more musical, I'll record automation.
Thanks for the tutorial, I have to admit my Absynth was collecting digital dust as of late... I was using Massive and other Synths. Just didnt understand Absynth until now. Time to go experiment. thanks
Hey there Evan, one thing i hear people always in a quandary about is....what situations are good for using controller knobs to automate instrument parameters vs. drawing in the automation vs. "mousing" a parameter on screen using automation? Thanks...always loving the killer content yo!

So, how did you took the NI news of Absynth being discontinued from Komplete forever ???
there are actually quite a few from dubspot if you look
awesomeness
pretty sure that sine wave is clipping, which is why it's almost a square, and then the release phase of it sounds more like a sine
2:34 Yes. Yes I agree.
Your voice sounds like Trent Reznor
Can't unhear that now omg
can multiple morphs be combined into a wavetable? Or is that a 2031 technology.
epic intro
Subbed!
can i do the same thing with massive ?
That tune sounds like it was in Good Eats.
Nice "Kojak" intro. :)
I feel like all major youtube ableton tutorial instructors make glitch hop.
how can we make sound phatter? thanks you :)
Does anyone know what atari ad that was?
A programm would be interesting where i can draw a soundwave with hand and play then to listen how it sounds.
xylfox You can do it with modtrackers like Milky Tracker
il morphing è un altra cosa
aint no ableton instructor here, man. i teach music.
secret revealed !!!
