this program seems designed around me, I like the emphasis on the waveforms a lot more, especially since I know them more than the ways that synths like massive are used, I think I'll be changing how I make mysounds, also great tutorial, really gave me a lot of ideas
i have learned the basics, that's my point. and imo the basics don't take that long to learn, which is why it gets boring seeing video after video saying 'we're just going to do a basic sound to get you started'. what i'd rather see for a change is 'we're going to show you an advanced trick, if you don't get it then read up on the basics'.

Hey UA-cam people, was wondering if someone could help out, I downloaded the demo of Absynth 5 and loved it! All sounds worked perfectly well, so I went to Buy it, only to find the lowest system requirements are specified at 10.11, even though the Demo worked perfectly fine! WTF? Is there any chance if I download this thing it ill work or nah? Too risky? The previews for the sounds were top notch, especially the Absynth 5 sounds. I feel like is a must have, any suggestions?

these vids always seem to show a really basic sound, i don't think anyone at dubspot knows how to do the more advanced stuff like noisia, datsik, skrillex, kill the noise etc make.
this is so wrong, Absynth was a just few years ago a SECRET and holy grail of sound designers in a similar fashion of what KIMA is today! It has its own character and it was used intensely by Trent Reznor for example. It's very good for ambience and for rythmical patterns. Come on! You should take a better look at it, especially for FILM SCORES! NATIVE INSTRUMENTS, DO NOT DISCONTINUE IT! What I would like them to update is the envelope engine, to make it more simple to use.
I went to music school and let me tell you, 80% of my teachers had more talent than most "out there" , not all musicians care about fame and being big lmfao.
