    I had one spring break and it was spinning the chain at idle but luckily the brake still held.
    I shove a piece of rope into my spark plug hole when I take off my clutch, works like a champ.

    I just put my impact gun on there and gave it hell. 😂

      Same. But I don't give it hell, I let it hit it tight 2-3 impact hits, mount the bar and chain all up, start it, rev it all the way up, then engage the chain break at full rev. That will snug it up really good.

    I tried this and my crank side was coming loose before my clutch side would tighten to the appropriate torque

      You should be able to hold the nut on either side of the crank when turning the opposite side of the machine.

      @@BryanHansen unfortunately when holding the nut on the crank side it became loose before the nut on the clutch side was tightened. I even tighten the crank side with an impact and it came loose again before the clutch side reached torque

      It's reverse thread..the torque of the chain tightens it does it not?
