      they were cgi in the in the courtyard fight against the smith clones, especially neo. Just hard to spot. But especially neo in some extreme moves like the spin with the iron bar or the slowmotion kick before that scene that's where you could see pretty well they used cgi and probably not just for neo. Neo really looked like a animated video game character there with smoother skin and clothes etc. pretty obvious.

It’s just a change in time, the viewers now see how these things are made so they all became writers and they all had their way they wanted the story to turn out. Take Spider-Man for instance, if you saw the comments about it before it came out you’d see they all said it was going to fail and their main reason was….it wasn’t going to have the other two spidermen. It became a hit after people got what they wanted to see and they could care less that the rest of the movie didn’t make any sense. And now part of the machines works alongside these humans in Io. Merovingian is a homeless and Neo shoot Ki Blasts and use a Ki Shield now.

    I actually thought Hugo Weaving filmed a lot of scenes and then those scenes got composed in one scene. But pretty sure Hugo's face got pasted in most scenes, because in the final films you can see them doing expressions.

    today they would use cgi for that, which would've been cheaper, but would never accomplish such a nice set as they managed to get.

    • @unison_moody
      @unison_moody 7 років тому

      There is nearly no reason ot have a "nice" set. With enough budget and time you can get a much better look with CGI nearly every single time today.

    • @hei38cuhc
      @hei38cuhc 7 років тому +8

      i am working for the industry, and i will clearly disagree with you, even in the highest budget films today, i can measure bewteen cgi and real shots. maybe the casual wont see a difference, but you wont get that near to human movement at all. thats why i love this movie for. they made the right choice.
