    It sucks that you need WiFi to pair to phone. Bluetooth would have been the way to go

      I won't lie the wifi connection to pair with does suck but it really eliminated me from drilling unnecessary holes in the wall js

      WiFi usually has better bandwidth and reliability than Bluetooth. It's probably overkill for this device, but I can see why they'd choose it.
      If you're on a jobsite with no wifi, it would be annoying but you could probably create some kind of workaround.

    Yeah, it works, but seems like on drywall only. Wanted to fix a squeaky floor, tried it. Everything is false positive. So drywall it is.

    i'm not convinced from what you showed that it is worth it.

      It just depends. Works on drywall well, except for it struggles with the direction of a wire if it is not going up and down. Hardwood, forget it.
