OH, congratulations you two! You will be incredible parents! And as an added cuteness, the moment they pick their first Pokemon is so cute and precious! My one-year-old niece just picked out her first Pokemon plush: A TOGEPI!!
After all these years, seeing Josh go from mlp episode reviews sitting on a stool, to finding love, getting married and now having kids on the way. It was heartwarming seeing this channel grow and love to bloom. I wish you both the best
I can see Riolu, Togepi and Pichu ranking pretty high, while Smoochum ranking in the bottom 5. Pretty fitting to make this due to recent events. Congratulations, Ari! Same with Josh once again. I am proud of both of you and would make for awesome parents. I wish you luck and see you next time.
Riolu is the best two-legged puppy anyone could've asked for from the franchise, not to mention that it'll eventually grow up to gain several resistances, learn a never-missing move, and get a Mega Evolution (which I seriously want to come back).
Congratulations once again to you and Josh for the twins. You two are going to be great parents. I am glad that Riolu was the top pick here, since he totally deserves it.
3:58 Don't worry Ari, I'm pretty sure gushing about how cute they are comes with the territory of doing a _Top 10 Baby Pokémon_ video, pregnancy or no pregnancy. If anyone came in here NOT expecting this, I question how their mind works.
Couldn’t agree more with #1! Since Lucario’s debut, I can’t play Pokémon games without catching one in my party. So I always put catching a Riolu on my priority list before becoming Champion, and kicking but with a fully trained Lucario!!
I think Josh really did us all a favor in allowing these 'coups' to happen; I'm liking them a lot! Congrats on the newly born twins, and good luck in your future familial endeavors!
Some things you can guarantee are that 1: One is gonna have a J name because of Josh's all J name family XD 2: At least one or both of them is gonna have a middle name or nickname based off an MLP character XD
First off, congratulations on the twins arriving all healthy and sound. Second, I love how the Riolu and Lucario are number one, I love that line so much.
One good point for BDSP is that Munchlax spawned in the underground fairly often than it did for honey trees... downside... it could have Explosion/Self Destruct as one of it's egg moves in the underground.
Ari has a point. Why _hasn't_ Kengaskhan gotten a baby form that's the pouch baby? For that matter, why not also give it a middle stage that's the same "growing into motherhood" idea as Happiny but on a stage that makes sense?
An Ari list on Canada Day? Heck yeah! Also, I used many of these little ones in my various play throughs, yes that even includes Wynaut. Kinda sad nether Cleffa, Igglybuff nor Smoochum were on the list. But I am glad to see Happiny there.
10:48 I have a (terrible according to most of my friends) theory about Kangaskhan and the little one in the pouch: That's not the baby, that's the male of the species. Kangaskhan are an all-female Pokémon because the male is unable to properly defend itself, so it relies on the larger and stronger female to protect it. Every Kangaskhan you see isn't a mother/child paring, but a bonded pair, husband and wife.
I honestly agree, Riolu is indeed the best baby and the favourite child. Riolu’s are also pretty unique among baby pokemon, pretty much all of Riolu’s dex entries are about how it was a badass before it was badass explaining all it’s impressive feats and how strong it is. In my experience it’s quite rare for baby pokemon to have a baby pokemon how dex entries explaining it’s strength and not it’s potential or how much of a baby it is.
Ari, Happiny is cuter than you think considering it pretends that the white stone in its pouch is an egg, its adorable how it tries to copy its evolutions despite not having an egg itself
Baby Pokemon like Tyrogue and Mantyke adding some much needed connective tissue between multiple Pokemon is probably the most mechanically interesting thing a baby could accomplish without being actually playable. Wynaut, Riolu and Munchlax are hands down, the strongest baby pokemon and all of them have seen success in some sort of competitive format. Riolu's ability to add priority to Copycat through Prankster is probably the funniest, but I will never not enjoy just how good the Wobbuffet line is against the Battle Frontier. All because Wynaut gave Wobbuffet an Encore
So when the worst was about to be revealed, I thought “Wow, so Ari’s worst is either Mime Jr., Cleffa or Igglybuff? Wonder why…” and then the worst was revealed and I basically thought “…wow, yeah I forgot that this thing was a baby Pokémon.”
Togepi was M.V.P. of eggs because it looked like one , made sense at the start. But then they tried to tie in every first evolution as a baby pokemon , because creeps. And realizing the production headache , but still needing to use the progress they made. Togepi became the mascot for eggs AND baby pokemon.
It gives me so much joy knowing that Josh has twins, both because he and Ari will definitely be great parents, and because he has twins like the Cake twins of MLP he so despises
1) Didn't know you were having twins, congrats (the twins part was the surprise I mean) 2) Didn't know they're already here... EVEN MORE CONGRATS. Wishing you all the best in this new life you're having :D Disclaimer: This comment was made before looking at the list so Ari's positioning of Wynaut doesn't color my response... but preemptive "HOW DARE YOU!?!?!?!" if they're in the bottom half or "WOOOOOOOO" if they're in the upper half. Please adjust accordingly
100% agree with Riolu being best baby. Lucario is my favorite Pokémon of all time, and that absolutely extends to Riolu. Love the blue fighting dog. That said, I feel like Riolu in particular is at its best when you can get it relatively early on, as is the case in BW2, technically X&Y despite just being given a Lucario later, SV with its open world nature, and where I fell in love, the fan game Pokémon Omicron. Notably, not in Gen 4 where it comes from: Riley gives you the egg 3/4 of the way through the game, and even with a setup most generous to the race (Diamond/Pearl, get egg before touching 6th gym), you can get a Gible and raise it to the level of your existing team well before a Lucario. Though, since I have a DSi and 3DS, and copies of Diamond, Platinum, and HeartGold, I’ve made the HG copy into a Lucario breeding ground so I can trade the egg to fresh saves of D or P.
Fun little tidbit Wobbuffet’s name in Japanese roughly translates to “That’s the way it is.” So whenever it says its name in the anime, it’s saying that phrase. “We’re team rocket!” “That’s the way it is!” Then add Wynaut who is Why Not and we get “Why not? That’s the way it is.”
I never knew chingling was a baby Pokémon. This is new knowledge to me. Congrats to you two for becoming parents! Hope you two have a happy time! Now Josh will have to make dad jokes even though he hates puns 😆
Iron Island is optional! I went there before Elite Four but after beating Galactic, so finding these lost grunts wandering around acting as if they still have a team to go back to is rather hilarious.
In DPPt, it’s not mandatory to clear Iron Island. Riley gives you strength just for talking to him the first time. Strength is required, clearing Iron Island is not. But that doesn’t mean clearing Iron Island isn’t WORTH it. I love Riolu and Lucario as well. My second favorite fighting type until ORAS and Mega Gallade. And I loved Mega Gallade so much Gallade shot up from like 5th or 6th to second, over Rayquaza who is my favorite Legendary and was only being Blaziken. (If I was a Gym Leader, fighting type would be one of my top choices.) But it tells you just how much I love a Pokémon when I have used it at least once per generation since it’s release without exception!
Lucario has always been one of my favorites in the franchise. Plus the movie itself also gave me more love for him. The voice actor was perfect for him and is always a badass in any game or episode of the anime.
You know this is too convenient of a list with how Ari and Josh have now have twin babies of their own. Though im personally for it since baby version of Pokemon can be unique in a way. (Well for the most part)
TWINS?! OMG, Ive avoided the channel for so long to give you guys time to rest, and I didnt know! Congratulations! Once Togepi hatches, it stays its cute baby form, and embodying childhood innocence and wonder. Then, it evolves into Togetic, its "teenage" form, if you will. Its Pokédex Entry says that if its not around kind people, itll grow dispirited, similar to a kid going through a depressive episode when theyre bullied or harrassed. Lastly, Togekiss, its adult form, is known as a good luck charm never seen in areas where conflict or turmoil are frequent. I...dont really have anything to comment here, I just think its a cute, fun entry. Pichu is literally a downsized version of the literal MASCOT of Pokémon, so having it be the mascot for the babies would be seen as "lazy" or "cheap" by todays standards. Hope I could clear that up!
Riolu and Lucario both take the #1 spot on my favorite Pokemon list of all time. So thank you! This list made me happy! Also, congrats! I know you and Josh will be great parents!
Since Josh has covered Mothers and Fathers, it might be fun to see a video on video game siblings; and since Pokemon has some siblings worth talking about, maybe Josh and Ari could collab on video game siblings, or Ari could do a video on Pokemon siblings while Josh does a more general video game siblings list.

For me, even though I don't play the games or watch the anime anymore, Joltik still wins me over anytime I see that little buzz button. I know they're not actually as small as artists portray them sometimes, but I still love em anyway. Besides they become a Tarantula as adults. As someone raised among these awesome animals growing up seeing Pokémon tackle that was pretty epic. Granted I wouldn't know about stats or anything like that. Tyrogue is probably my least favorite baby Pokémon because the mon it evolves into is decided by the stats. For those who (somehow) don't know. Ah man I hoped Joltik was on the list its a cute baby spider. It's the smallest pokemon in the pokemon universe and you can't tell me Lucas the spider didn't get any inspiration from it.
Nice to see Ari making a list. On a side note, seeing that clip of Gorgeous reminds me of a whole collection of Jackie Chan movies my brother and I watch constantly.
It's funny how despite never being one at all in the Game, Teddiursa is ALWAYS lumped in with other Baby Pokemon in the anime. He's with them in the Pichu Bros shorts, he's with them in the Pikachu shorts, that one Gen 2 episode, that one late Gen 4 episode where Brock's Happiny evolves... Like at this point just give Ursaring a regular evolution and make Teddiursa unable to breed. You're fine retconning other stuff at this point.
Let's see, Josh made a list for Father's Day to celebrate being a new dad to twins, so now it's Ari's turn by doing a video on the baby Pokémon
next year she gets to do the mom day list.
Happiny is the embodyment of the concept of a little girl pretending to be a mom with a baby doll. The "egg" in Happiny's pouch is actually a smooth rock.
Ari is the best mom the twins could've asked for! ❤
EDIT: 0:07 BABIES!!!
Damn right
Agreed.
Certainly
Biologically, she is the only mom the twins could've asked for. And who is complaining, I mean, have you seen her stats?
THEY'RE BABIES!!!
OH, congratulations you two!
You will be incredible parents!
And as an added cuteness, the moment they pick their first Pokemon is so cute and precious!
My one-year-old niece just picked out her first Pokemon plush: A TOGEPI!!
Shh... Reality finally has an excuse to slow down for the likes and age of me; I'm riding this while I can.
How fitting. The baby human chooses a baby Pokémon.
Riolu is a precious boy, Togepi is a good egg, and Munchlax is… Munchlax. I hope they rank high.
Wish granted!
I CALLED IT!!!
…I said it in reverse order, yes, but someone picked up the phone because I CALLED IT!!!
After all these years, seeing Josh go from mlp episode reviews sitting on a stool, to finding love, getting married and now having kids on the way. It was heartwarming seeing this channel grow and love to bloom. I wish you both the best
According to the pokedex the egg that happiny has is actually a small rock. it carries it to imitate the chansey they admire.
The anime even has an entire episode dedicated to giving a newborn happiny its stone.
Even more of a nice touch, it needs to hold it to evolve into chansey.
That’s adorable! It’s like a little kid copying its parents.
Hilariously Smoochum didn't appear.
17:36 ...Bluey's badass cousin...this brought a smile to my face.
Only fitting for Ari to make this given recent events.
Congratulations to the both of you!
Riolu is the best two-legged puppy anyone could've asked for from the franchise, not to mention that it'll eventually grow up to gain several resistances, learn a never-missing move, and get a Mega Evolution (which I seriously want to come back).
Josh and ari are now parents, they got two babies to look after, this is fitting
This is an absolutely adorable video to go alongside the birth of the twins
4:19 Also, TerminalMontage reference? Nice
Congratulations once again to you and Josh for the twins. You two are going to be great parents.

3:04 I felt that pain more than once
How’s it been Ari? Everything good? Babies looking healthy? Super excited for you guys!
In my personal opinion, I'm mostly curious about the twins' names and the meaning of it
Some things you can guarantee are that
1: One is gonna have a J name because of Josh's all J name family XD
2: At least one or both of them is gonna have a middle name or nickname based off an MLP character XD
@KeniaPieces they decided to use ponysona names for their kids to protect their privacy. The boy is Valor Blaze, and the girl is Velvet Smoke.
@@RedeemingAngelBarb Understandable.
@@RedeemingAngelBarb Makes sense. Most Brony UA-camrs I know use aliases anyway.
I could have sworn Happiny’s egg was actually a random rock it picked up to be more like it’s Evolutions
First off, congratulations on the twins arriving all healthy and sound. Second, I love how the Riolu and Lucario are number one, I love that line so much.
I can verify that Iron Island is optional. You can even clear the Spear Pillar stuff and still need to clean up at Iron Island later.
Finding the Galactic grunts still there was hilarious

Congratulations you two will definitely be great parents and as a twin I happy for there to be more twins in the world😄
Pokemon babies are cute.
Twins: "We are cuteness up to eleven. Hi there world."
RIP for the two Pokémon who didn't even appear on the list; but can you remember whom they are without looking it up?
Actually, there's 4: Cleffa, Igglybuff, Mantyke and Mime Jr.
@@mitchellgoliber8688She forgot Mantyke, Igglybuff, Cleffa, Azurill, Smoochum, and Mime Jr.
Personally my favorite baby mon is Azurill
Congratulations you two~
... Does this mean we can call Josh "Papa Scorcher" without it being weird?
Congratulations on the twins! They’re adorable! I’ve prepared myself for an adorable niece myself. I wish you luck in parenthood!
So it seems Mantyke and Mime Jr. Were skipped. Anyone else missing?
Edit: Remembered from the Battle Royal: Cleffa, Igglybuff, Azurill and Smoochum.
Congrats Ari and Josh!🎉 They are beautiful twins.
Oooh! You know what you should do? You guys should make a video of the twins choosing their first Pokémon plushies! We would love that!
Lucario is one of my all time favorite pokemon. I haven't been playing Pokemon games that long, but I love having a Lucario in my team
YESYESYESYESYES. GET THE SQUISH RADAS DONE BEFORE YOU BRING ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL NERD TO THE WORD
Togepi is actually my favorite baby, and its line is one of my favorite lines ever!
I absolutely love Ari's takeovers. She's so much fun.
