Vampires, swords, apocalypses, and monsters. We’ve got it all today. Hi guys, welcome back to Movie Myth! In today's anime, we’re gonna be looking at the 1985 action-horror classic: “Vampire Hunter D”.
The story takes place in the year 12090, in an apocalyptic world ruled by vampires and monsters, with the rest of the humans living under their thumb, and it is up to our hero to save humanity from them.
Vampire Hunter D boasts a minimum of 7/10 across IMDb, Rotten Tomato, as well as a 78% on my-anime-list. The movie is one of the classic anime films and has built quite a fanbase around it for its likable main protagonist.
So let us jump into the future and reveal the dark story behind our conflicted hero.

Thank you. I didn't know that there was an original Vampire Hunter D.
I thought the sequel was the first one.
I will have to look for this movie now

Nice idea but would it work on paper?
Would it work story wise as well as timewise?
I am intrigued though. More thought needs to be put in to this. Lol
