Going over a bridge knowing the cheapest builder won the bid to build it!
Oh no! Now I’m going to think about that next time I come to a bridge. 😬 Truly funny, though!
YES ME TOO
Oh 😲 wow! That would make sense and now has me worried. LOL
I have a cousin that rolls her car windows down before going over a bridge.
I used to deal with fear, but then I’ve learned to lean on the Lord and face things head on. 2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.” With God as our Father, there is nothing to fear. He holds us in the palm of His mighty hand and He loves us so. He hides us under the shelter of His wings and He protects us from all harm. Be encouraged, my sisters! God bless you!
going to write that down Amen
I am a 75 year old female with complex PTSD which causes me to be home bound but I have to go out occasionally for essential errands When this happens, I have irrational anxiety (fears) once I leave my apartment. What gives me the strength/courage is god’s spirit to give me giddy up what needs overcome my anxiety/fear.
I have a huge fear of public speaking but have had to do it several times over the last 25 years. What I learned in a 12-step program was to say the fear prayer before speaking. This is it; God, please remove my fear of speaking and direct my attention to what you would have me be. He would have me be courageous and do the talk. Sure, helps me with many fears.
I have a great fear of falling. I have very poor circulation and had a very bad fall several years ago. I received a leg wound that a nurse had to daily dress. It’s become worse in the last year. Haven’t been out of my house in ten months. I need serious prayer. Need to go to the Dr. in August.
I’m 77 and I’m not afraid of anything. I used to be afraid of public speaking I don’t know what I could possibly have been afraid of. I use to be shy I’m not shy I could get in front of any amount of people and talk. I started speaking up in church answering questions and praying. In God anything is possible and he sure has opened doors for me.At my age it’s not and never too late for anything😊
Spiders! A very irrational fear but.none the less a fear. My mother's was snakes. Even a rubber fishing worm scared her.
Praise the Lord!
Romans 8:31
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
I'm a 67 year old man and all my life I've been deathly afraid of clowns. I was a high school teacher and some of my kids drew a clown on the board, it freak me out!
Oh, suggestion, don't watch the movie IT if you're afraid of clowns ❤
Fear will make you stress and stress will make you ill. It was my biggest sin till I turned 60. Now I take it one day at a time and give it to God
Heavy traffic, especially if it's raining.
Snakes! I hate them.
Me too! 😮
🙋♀️Same. I have a creek behind my house, and they come into our yard!😬
Me too! I know they're God's creatures and they have a part to play in nature. I just want them to play that part away from me.
All a snake can do is bite you, they don't have claws or huge muscles, all they can do is crawl around. Chicken. 🐔
@@susanann0301the snakes in my yard have come up into my house. I have found 2 live baby snakes and half a dozen or more snake eggs under the sink ... So that means 'Momma snake' is somewhere in the house. I don't sleep well at all now.
Fear has two meanings… Forget everything and run or Face everything and rise!
Good one, @elliemay7569! I'll be sharing that with my granddaughter! Thank you!
Yes!! “ fight or flight” OR fight the flight.. we have choices🙂
For some reason I've gotten claustrophobic in my old age.The thought of me being in some kind of small place without windows sends chills down my back. I like wide open spaces.
I am afraid of snakes, heights, and dentists.
I'm terrified of the dentist 😬 😫
That makes three of us!
YEP! HERE TOO!❤😢
I too have nightmares about dirty and overflowing toilets, glad to know that I'm not the only one.
We’re glad to know it’s not just us 😂
Apparently it’s not as uncommon as I thought! Count me in.
Me as well!
Deep water and micro fiber towels
We used to live in Virginia. We had a shed in our backyard. Junk had accumulated behind the shed. We pulled the stuff out and underneath were thousands of huge centipedes (not exaggerating)! On occasion they would crawl up the shower drain. Eek! We moved!
I despise roaches, especially the big Palmetto bugs. They can ruin my day when I see one in the house!!
Snakes, Snakes and Snakes!! My biggest fear by far. I dont like clowns and avoid them. Creepy.
I agree with you on both! 🫣
I have the same fear of overflowing toilets. If I'm at home, it really scares me. But if I'm in a public bathroom, I'll just flush.......then RUN!!! 🤣
Flush and run, I love it 😂
😂
SPIDERS 🕷️especially Wolf Spiders
My sister was about 10 and she was running around outside like she was crazy. It was deer season so I thought she must have been shot. I was 11 and I went and got my mom. Those wolf spiders were on the edge of our house and they had made webs. My mom finally got her to stop running and found out the wolf spider had fallen in he big pockets on her dress and my mom got it off of her.
LoL
This one cracked me up! Katie's is especially hilarious 😂
I second you on the public toilets!
Semi trucks on the freeway!
I used to have fear of storms when I was young. My mom took me to see our pastor at the time. He laid his hands on me and anointed me with oil, and prayed for me to be delivered, and God delivered me instantly. Haven’t had any fear of any storms since. No matter what kind. Or anything else either, really 😊 God is good!
Amen 🙏
Praise GOD wooooowwwww
Corrie,,,I live in Michigan and that horrible bug you are talking about is called a house centipede. Supposedly, they do not bite and will eat any spiders in your home. When I see one of those, my body freezes in terror and I feel like I am going to pass out. I am an older lady and I have always been terrified of those things!!! Loved this video of you girls..God bless you.
Wow, I didn’t know their name, I was too afraid to look them up!
I had a home up in Minnesota that had a partial dirt floor in the basement- Lots of centipedes. Just so many legs- yuck!
Falling in a stormy angry ocean. Swept away. 🌊 😱
GOD'S WRATH
Public restrooms. I literally disinfect the toilet. I carry gloves, a small disinfectant spray, and wipes and my own toilet paper when traveling. And I’m still grossed out!
That’s a good idea to disinfect!
Some of my fear includes walking in tall grass, snakes, spiders, and creepy old basements.
Ditto
Always good to see you girls together, just talking about whatever. Praying for you Corie and your baby. Only thing I’m scared of is now to hear Katie is a adopted Okie and is afraid to stop in her adopted state of Oklahoma cause she was afraid of Tornadoes. Lol… I’ve lived here for 70 yrs and have never ever seen a Tornado. Katie came through Oklahoma down I-40 and came right through Checotah Ok home of Carrie Underwood, she was 15 miles from Muskogee Ok , Merle Haggard’s song “ Okie From Muskogee “ drove through Sallisaw Ok , Home of Pretty Boy Floyd, she was 20 miles from Tahlequah Ok where the Cherokee’s stopped when they came here on the Trail of tears. I live here in Braggs Ok right in the middle of all these towns I mentioned . Katie you are still a OKlAHOMA SOONERS FAN. Good to see Binx he is always the star of every video even in Celebrating Appalachia. I’m fixing to send Binx a little friend , it’s for Ira though. Sorry this is so long.
Hi Corie and Katie, my biggest fears are heights and falling backwards and the unknown. I don't like the dentistor childbirth either and descided at 13 yrs old that I didn't want kids that I would adopt if I had to.
Thank you for being brave and sharing your fears with us.
I hope Y'all have a great rest of rhe day.
I have a Prayer request for my friend Jodie they are putting her on Hospice due to her illness and for her Mom and Sister. I also need Prayers for Myself as I'm dealing with some Mental Health issues and am struggling at this time although You and your Parents make me Smile and feel betterwhen I see your videos so Thank Y'all so much! 😊❤🙏🏻
Prayers
Praying for you.
Praying for you and Jodie 🙏❤️
A few more fears. Dentist, loud noises.
I hear y'all on your fears! 😊Lightning strikes that are real close, driving on interstate that's full of 18-wheelers, slick & shiny spiders, plugging things in outlets that look old, & plumbing going wrong are my fears. 😅
I used to be afraid of caves at night when I was younger because the strong winds in Scotland would cause strange noises, but I realise now i'm older, when exploring, that it is just the wind.
The wizard of oz gave me nightmares as a child back in the day
That movie made us cry as children 😂
The flying monkeys…….awful!
My favorite movie!!!!
Afraid i wont be forgiven of sins, whenever i pray for forgiveness
1 John 1:9. Jesus took our sin on himself on the cross, and then he rose again. If you trust in him, you don't need to be afraid. He loves you!
Exactly! You need to invite Jesus an into your heart and life and ask first forgiveness. You are expected to try and not sin. Repeated on going sin is not right. Every Christian needs to try to not sin. Ask God for help, He loves you.
Your sins or anyone’s sins are not to big for God’s forgiveness, when you think you will not be forgotten you are saying your sin is above God’s forgiveness. We know Satan is behind your doubts, he knows if he can persuade you to wait or that your not good enough for God’s forgiveness,he will likely cause you to die lost and will share torment forever with him. So put your doubt down and allow God to forgive you! Then rest assure you are forgiven
fearing God is healthy imo, lets continue repenting and pouring our hearts out to him
Perfect way to end session!
Tall bridges. I could almost just pull over and leave my car rather than drive across one.
Praying for you all.
Textures like the feel of eating off of a wooden spoon. It’s like nails on a chalkboard. And snakes are a dealbreaker
Y'all brave telling your fears out loud.
I'm trying to hide my fears from the devil .
I grew up with 9 brothers too.
Great video. Some of the things you mentioned are pretty common to some people. Storms would be my biggest fear.
Thanks for sharing!
I have repeated dreams about planes crashing right before my eyes. Jets, carrying hundreds of people. It might be in my backyard, in my neighborhood, across town, or into the ocean. There is always a fireball and people are trying to escape but not everybody can. People on the ground have to run away from the explosion, but some can’t outrun it.
One of our sons is a pilot in the Air Force. I believe these dreams started when he began to pursue his aviation career.
I'm scared of weird things Hornets, Rats, Bats, Monkey's. Aliens are the worst for me. 😨
Just be calm. Makes easier on you and baby too. Doctors and especially nurses will take good care of you. Amen.
We all have fears, I know that I do but I don’t dwell on them. I am 82 years old and my biggest fear is that I will eventually have dementia or Alzheimer’s. I have a real fear of the dentist but that goes away when I finally see them. I also not a fan of snakes. Love this Video girls. Very interesting!
Here out west we have "shakers"... meaning earth quakes. It's really quite terrifying...unexpected too! But this is not irrational fear, ... but not much else really affects me that I can think of.
When I was a little girl, I went to use the toilet and when I lifted the lid there was a huge sewer rat swimming around in it. Apparently it had swam up through the sewer and pipes...Let me tell you, I never ever go to the bathroom without looking first ;)
Oh gosh 😂
Heights, water, driving, snakes. I'more afraid of messing my pants than using a public toilet. But I know people that absolutely will not use one. Good luck with the baby. My birthday is tomorrow.
Mine is tomorrow, too!!
Happy Birthday! 🎉🎂💐
I love cats (small house cats)! Not afraid of bears but mountain lions scare me or any wild large cat. I already know how house cats act and to think that a big cat is ready to pounce and attack is terrifying!
I love you both. Everyone has fears...both rational and irrational. As you said Katie, God understands and gives grace daily. Blessings and prayers...
Thank you ladies always a joy seeing you both.
My fear a mouse.
Corie wouldn't it be something if Baby Boy can on Father's Day.
You girls Crack me up. Thanks for the laughs😅❤
Great video, Corie and Katie. I don't like snakes, thunder storm's or heights😢🙏🏿
Omg Katie I'm scared of toilets for the exact same reason you are, but I've never even had one overflow before🚽😆 I'm also terrified of all bugs, every single kind of bug. I'm scared of heights, deep water, and anything that's haunted.
I love you girls!!!! And muppets and toilets just tickled me!!!😂
Bless you two precious mommy's. I heard a psycologist say that dreaming of dirty overflowing toilets is a safeguard to keep you from wetting the bed while you are in REM phase which occurs in deep sleep. So your not weird Katie. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by our wonderful Lord God. Prayers for your little cousin and your precious family. I just love all you good people.
Roaches! Terrified of them. Always have pest control on the payroll!
We have the same fears as you two. Some more than others. For me, it's needles. Katy, you can overcome your fear of toilets. Years ago, when I was much younger, I thought something might come up through the pipes and bite me while I was...you know...taking care of business. Now, that's an irrational fear. Here in Texas, we have all of those creepy crawly bugs and as long as they stay away from me, all is well. If there is a bug that really makes my skin crawl, it's what we call in Texas, a walking stick. I noticed as you two were talking about all of these fears, you both got a little jumpy. Me too. I caught myself feeling bugs crawling up my legs and there was nothing there except my cat Tucker brushing past my legs. Reminds me of sitting around a campfire telling ghost stories to the point that we scare ourselves. Thanks for another interesting and entertaining video and take care. Love to you all! 😆
You two are so funny together. I'm glad you have each other. ❤
I think everyone is afraid of the unknown but it's good to have a healthy fear so we take care and be prepared.
❤
I'm afraid of mice and anything that resembles mice!!!!!! I'm a little better now....73.....I should be, but still afraid. I look forward to every video you girls post, you remind me so much of my twin sister and I. Praying for Corrie and the safe delivery of the baby boy. Praying for Katie and Ira. Praying for Granny and all the family. God bless you and yours
Same!
❤️
I hate all spiders. Snakes are awful and scary, too. I grew up in the country on a farm so we had plenty of both. My father used to go snake hunting with my brother and I'd be so scared. As I've gotten older I don't like crowds or cities. Oh well. God bless you all. Prayers for an easy birth and healthy baby.
You know, its funny, the first thing that popped into MY head is being scared of responsibility....
That makes a lot of sense 😁
Holy Hanna girls! I laughed. I cried. Thank you for the wonderful conversation. ❤
The ocean “face of the deep” the depth and darkness freaks me out badly
agree, it's that suffocation feeling just thinking about it.😁
I’m not sure that is “irrational “ sounds pretty natural to have a fear of the unknown and luckily, easily avoided 🌊, you’re good👍🏼
spiders, snakes, all them critters are far more scared of you than you are of them.
When I was a kid, I really was scared of clowns. I’m not anymore, but I’m still not crazy about them.
Terrified of snakes, spiders, bridges, tornadoes, bad storms when the wind blows hard because I live in the woods among massive trees and closed in spaces. Being held down, like when you were a kid and sibling would wrap his/her arm around me and try to hold me down… my goodness. Did not bode well for sibling. Severe claustrophobia. I’m a mess.🤦♀️
🤣
I don’t like bugs of any kind, but the ones I’m afraid of was, when we lived in Texas there were huge roaches, and I’m talking 2-3 inches long, they call them water bugs, because one time before we knew this; I asked my husband to kill it and he went to get it and it flew right at me! I screamed. I’m not a screamer but I did then. I’m also afraid to be close to a ledge, or cliff or up on a ladder. I feel sick to my stomach and feel dizzy.
Those sound scary!
Water bugs YES. I'm in Texas and I think we call them that because they generally don't come round till about July when it's dry bones out here. They lookin for water. They won't hurt ya but they'll make you hurt yourself!
Oh, I am with you !!! We have them here in N C ! Terrifying!!!!
@@btrixie60 😂
THANK YOU! Puppets, claymation and people dressed like disney figures freake me OUT 😂
😂
The big take away here with your fears….. they don’t stop you, you both keep on and aren’t held back by them. Be brave for your boys when it comes to the “irrational “ ones, kids are impressionable 🩵🩵 my fear is of the inevitable … losing my mother. Asking for prayers for her 🙏🏻 during another recent health scare.❤
Praying ❤️🙏
Closets in a dark room
I've worked several janitorial jobs. I hate to tell you this, and I won't go into detail, but your fear of public toilets is absolutely justified. I've seen things I can't unsee, lol! Enjoyed the video, God bless!
Our current president and his entire administration. Have a peaceful week.
Preach it, girl! He IS the answer to fear. That being said, potato bugs really creep me out... I googled the long legged bugs you were talking about and they creep me out too. 😬 I also don't like the feeling of being sandwiched between 2 semi trucks on the freeway. It feels like they are both going to drift into my lane at the same time.
I used to be terrified of storms. I would have nightmares with tornadoes coming toward my house. The dream would always end right before the tornado hit. Then one time in the dream, the tornado actually hit my house , but instead of it being terrifying, it gave me a sense of weightlessness and peace. I don’t have the nightmares anymore.
You are so Right!!! Fear Not! Give it all to Jesus! Corie, you are still in my prayers! I love you both! I had natural childbirth and it wasn’t planned. I’m 4’8” tall! I had two children! You are going to do great Corie! Love y’all!!! ❤️🌻❤️
Thank you ❤️
Great video Corrie and Katie love it thanks for sharing 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Corie, I too have dreams about filthy bathrooms. I go from one stall to the next, and each one is dirtier than the one before. I finally figured out why.
Whenever I get too hungry during the day I feel nausea coming on and have to get a bit of food. Naturally, while we sleep our stomachs become empty. For me, my brain knows I am nauseated but doesn’t wake me up, instead it creates visions of dirty toilets. Those scenes are enough to make me nauseous in real life, and they do the same during sleep.
My brain is telling me, “I see you are nauseous. Now I’ll really give you something to feel sick about.”
Hope that makes sense.
Wow that’s crazy, it does make sense though!
Great video girls. Corie, it has to be close for delivery. Praying for a safe and uneventful delivery. Katie and Ira were live you two so much. I'm scared of toilets too.
Give Granny a big hug for me.
AMEN, SISTERS IN CHRIST! Prayers for your fears and you birth Corie🙏🏼❤️❤️
Tops on the list for everyone should be the fear of the Lord! Wouldn't that turn our world around?
AMEN!!
My fear is the ocean and the fact that half of it hasn't been explored 😢. And my sister fears are drowning, hairy spiders, creepy insects with lots of legs.
Spiders and heights! I used to be terrified of needles but I used self talk to get over that. I also used to be so anxious about germs in hotel rooms that I bought 2 sleeping bags and would spread one out on the bed and sleep on it then used the other to cover up with. Too much CSI, lol.
Hippos! And I live in Canada, so it's completely irrational.
They are really big and scary tho!
Snakes and spiders
Earwigs are so creepy to me. Also those tall skinny blow up things with the wiggly big arms that get put up by businesses give me the shivers when I see them flopping about, yuck!
Good one
I am terrified of spiders, snakes, and mice! I also agree with many of the things you girls are mentioning.
Im afraid of heights, tornados, public door handles especially rest room handles! Stray dogs, trees when its windy, people driving behind me, and most processed food because of the bad ingredients and also what people might put in there
I was chuckling along with you as well as sympathizing with you both. I've seen some large size spiders that freak me out.
Another fear that I've had since childhood is clowns. It might have started when I saw a TV ad for McDonalds with the clown mascot in it. The other day we were about to go into the library and there was a kids' summer program going on. To my fright, two clowns were outside the building. I know they're just wearing makeup and wigs, but seeing clowns can actually bring me to tears. I walked very fast past the clowns, that's for sure!
I have many other fears such as fog, the deepness of the ocean, and elevators.
But I like what you said about Jesus as our Help and Comforter. We can face our fears with Him to cling to!
God bless ya'll!
I love how you girls share about your faith in Christ and point others to Him🙏🏻🙌. Thank you for your encouragement!
😁
Cockroaches, dentists and heights. Sharks, and I used to live by the beach. Snakes are alright. One lives in the veggie garden. Eats mice. Anna from Arkansas.
Them stinking spiders. And I afraid of hell. Do my best to stay away from that place.
I absolutely loved your video today. The truth is we all have fears and yall are right. With our lord and savior we can get through them. I'm actually terrified of airplanes. I have never flown and I have an irrational fear of one crashing into my house. I'm also afraid of bats, and bad weather. I'm so thankful we have a basement. My fear of storms came from childhood. I think every time it thundered back in the seventies we went to my grandparents cellar. Lol Thank you ladies for this video. It shows we all have a fear of something and that's ok.
Your fear of toilets -there’s a reason and it’s to make us smile and laugh 😂 not making light of it, just a great chuckle as I know all of us have some that would likely get us a monthly mental check if we shared. And the tall centipede bug…too funny how you described it. I just Love you ladies !! Y’all made my day.
😂
one of our granddaughters was afraid of public toilets when she was little since they are open in the front! i am afraid of bridges😬
Awe!
Chainsaws and any power tool with a saw.Rollercoasters!
Snakes for sure...through the years I've had a couple get in the house...they Will come up through the toilet Katie! One was on the back of my toilet all coiled up...I saw him AFTER I went potty. He was right beside the toilet tissue. Literally felt like I was having a heart attack.
My biggest fear, is being Trapped by Fire, with no Escape. I sleep with a fire extinguisher on my nightstand. Can't tell you how many times I've imagined my escape route.
Fun video, and legitimate fears to me. I understand.
Snakes (poisonous ones) sitting on a toilet (was afraid something would come up out the water and bite my booty 🤣) extremely strong storms, driving on the Interstate highways….especially in California and I-4 in Florida.
I used to be afraid of a snake in a toilet 😂
Snakes #1 and #2 being in crowds alone
Ferris wheels. I will ride a roller coaster all day long, but a ferris wheel...uh, no!
Now that my boys are driving, I am afraid of them getting into an accident. But before that, it was pregnancy and delivery too:) thank you for sharing your fears :)
I don't care to be in the dark outside by myself, I don't care for public speaking but I can talk myself through those things. However, I am deathly afraid of green tree frogs! I know! I get made fun of all the time but that is truly a huge fear for me. Like lose my breath kind of fear...
I love the beach, but will not get in the ocean. I’ve seen things in the ocean that are bigger than I am and can swim way better than I can. It makes no sense to me that people will go into the deep water not knowing what’s under them. 😬 I’ve always been afraid of thunderstorms, lightning and tornadoes. Rats, mice and snakes. I’ve always been afraid of the dark. Katie you are right, you don’t know what fear is until you have a child and then you are terrified of everything that could harm your baby.
We don’t like going out far into the ocean either!
With God All things are Possible and He indeed is Good All the Time!😊❤🙏🏻
I despise caves!!! Corie i pray you have an easy delivery. I know God will see to it that you do. Love you two Girls!!
Oh my goodness, one of mine has always been being buried alive too! I have literally laid awake at night and held my breath trying to see how long I could last underground!! My other is being suffocated or drowning! Those are my big ones I have a lot of less crazy ones like snakes, spiders, roaches, rats, and ticks! I am terrified ticks! I loved this video.
