Agree with Allie in that the protestors simply want to belong to a cause. If we don’t realize that we belong to Christ and have peace in Him, we’re susceptible to believing in ideologies that lead to destruction. Whenever I see a sign that says, “No Justice, no peace,” it’s a sad reminder that an individual or group is lost.

If they do cease fire, more and more terrorist groups will attack and stop at nothing. Islam is not peaceful. Their Quran tells them to kill off the infidels which to them are Jews and Christians. This past weekend I attended a reunion at Pomona College. Our Friday night dinner was disrupted by continual chanting and drum banging of protestors. They also hijacked an event on Saturday afternoon.
It wasn't clear how many of the protestors weren't related to the college in any way. But it was clear that a number didn’t belong there.
The college had hired a number of security personnel to protect events. More than I have ever seen at anything on campus before.
Strangely, the college President wasn't on campus. This was the first reunion that I had attended where the college's president chose to be absent.

There's a huge difference between peaceful protest, which is protected by the 1st Amendment, and unlawful rioting and destruction of property, which is NOT protected by the 1st Amendment. One is a Constitutional right; the other is a crime.

I don't think these students or their professors understand anything about the history of the Isreal/Palestinian conflict or the ideology behind it, which is an indictment against the current state of higher education. They may think differently after reading the Quran or some of the Haddiths.
My grandfather served in the British military after the second world war in Egypt and Palestine, he saw the violence from all sides. The fact that Palestine was never a country but a British protectorate after the fall of the Ottoman Empire after the first world war, a protectorate that lasted for less than 30 years before Isreal got its independence, is a fact that is lost in the current discourse or the lunatic raving. Aside from historical ignorance and woeful ignorance about Islam, we in the west tend to live in the emphasis of collective guilt from our Colonial past, we view the occupation there the same way as we the conquest of the America's without the real context or discernment that it is another country in another part of the world. I am so disgusted with higher education that they can't even be bothered teaching these facts. Great show Ally, God bless you.

I’m praying that the majority of these students are joining in just because they’re bored and want to “feel apart of something greater”, and in 10-15 years look back and think omg why did I do that. My beliefs at 21 were wildly different than they are at 32. Not making a pass for them, but I think a lot of them are just naive and stupid and followers. While watching this, I had an ad from and organization called "faith voters" that criticizes Trump and lifts up Biden from a Chriatian viewpoint on their Easter statements.
That's insane, Christians voting for Biden either have learning disorders or are completely unplugged from what's going on. It is at least half social, political and cultural commentary. I can admit she is a Christian, and she inserts her religious perspective into videos often - that's the point of her channel, but I also think that videos such as "Russel Brand: Christian or New Age?" and "Was Kanye's Christian Conversion Fake?" are definitely dancing on a line of appealing to popular culture just as much as they are appealing to a religious audience. Every now and then, you see an episode that seems straightforwardly religious, such as "The Bible Isn't About You", but those types of episodes happen less frequently when looking at her video list.
Jordan Peterson is part of DW and he released an entire study of Exodus on UA-cam via the platform, and is releasing other Bible study videos exclusive on DW to subscribers. I don't think having religious content would exclude her, is the point there.

@@JByrdddd I somewhat agree. October 7th has completely changed everything for the elections. Conservatives preferring Israel are mostly American Evangelicals. You still have Candace Owens who is (I wouldn't call "Pro-Palestine") but she definitely shows a lot of empathy towards the Palestinians (which I agree with), on the other hand there's Ben Shapiro who is unconditionally Pro-Israel. There's Joe Biden who's Pro-Israel but AOC who's not... so it's definitely divided everywhere.

In her previous videos about Black Lives Matter or Feminism, she was never black and white about these issues, she always gave room for necessary nuance: Anti-Black Lives Matter isn't Anti-Black or being Anti-Feminism isn't Anti-Women. So it seems quite hypocritical for her to say that Anti-Isreal is Anti-Semitic.
Secondly, she mentions a Pro-Palestine university student's commencement speech being cancelled due to the mention of the ongoing war which Allie said was "anti-Semitic." I actually read the entire speech, and there was no hint of anti-semitism nor mention of Jewish people anywhere in the speech.
Finally, I'm Christian, but even I felt like she made quite bizarre blanket statements regarding Muslim-majority countries claiming all of them are in horrible conditions and regressive towards women. I've been to many of them multiple times, I have family and friends that live there. Most of them are some of the richest countries in the world and safest countries for women (way more than USA). There are obviously few exceptions like Iran, Syria Afghanistan. But the rest are fine (especially, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, etc).
Overall, I was shocked to see one of my favorite commentators speak this way. I think she just pick and chose what would fit her propaganda which is sad.

Allie , perhaps it might be helpful in understanding this conflict which has been going on in modern times for at least 100 yrs (1917 Balfour treaty) and ancient Biblical history to Abraham (Isaac and Ishmael ) who came from what is now southern Iraq .(1,900 B.C) and the promised land which is now Jordan and Palestine ....The problem was ...it was already inhabited by many tribes .
The semitic peoples are both the Arabs (Ishmael) and the ethnic Jews (Isaac) and not really the Ashkanazi jews who come from Europe and now are 50 % of Peoples there and have an agenda to be 100 % .

It is sad, and I pray to the LORD they are safe and returned, but we already have many people from Christian outlets advocating for Israel and the 155 Isreali hostages along with 300 billion dollars sent in aid to help them. However, except Candace Owens, I can't think of any other Christian commentator who has advocated for the genocide of 30000 dead Palestinian children. I really hope this comment doesn't come across as downplaying the Isreali hostage struggle who matter so much, but rather advocating for the ceasefire for Palestinian children.

Child, the current war was started by a huge attack by HAMAS on the 7th, which on a proportional basis was 20 times greater than the 9/11 attack on the US.
Many of the Palestinians, who have been killed in Gaza, were killed by HAMAS, not Israel.
