Does the weight of a full bobbin or a full plying bobbin cause any problems to ball bearings or the flyer or anything else that you know of? Just wondering because the flyer isn't fully supported?
Thank you for this comment, I totally understand where you are coming from considering the designs of other wheels. However even with a full jumbo bobbin there are no issues with the treadling or the stability of the flyer. Even though it’s designed to travel it’s just heavy enough to be what I call grounded. There’s plenty of stability and performance with this wheel. Hope this helps.

It needs to be said that there is not a lot of little knobs and stuff to monkey around with when setting up and taking it apart. Very simple.
