Hi Shredguitar Murphy ..thank you for your reply ..as I said it was your video on the sc550 emg.. and your obvious delight in playing it .. there was a little section where I think u surprised yourself with the tone .. anyway I decided I've got to order this instrument .. after I ordered it I viewed another you tuber who was totally eulogising about the guitar .. I think he's a compatriot.. love your playing & videos I'm a Born again guitarist / musician

Just ordered the SC 550 plus a few hours ago.
Can't wait.
Both are nice looking guitars. I prefer the custom because it's lighter and has a belly cut, however the tobacco burst on the 550 looks fantastic. Awesome playing as usual, thank you!
Hi Shred Murphy .. it was relaxed manner ... comprehensive playing ability..your respectful handling & display of the guitars that convinced me to purchase the sc550 egg.. which arrived 2 days ago.. and I have to say it is flawless unbelievably so .. aesthetically I much prefer the sc550 over the sc custom.. I have just ordered the hb35 plus in lemon drop, roswell pick ups .. I know they will ..at some stage fit emg to this model as well .. but I will get that in the black with gold fittings.. I own Fender & Gibson as well.. Music 🎶has been life as a successful songwriter & producer .. many thanks
Thanks a lot for your message! I also prefer the SC 550 EMG over the SC custom. Also I think, the fat 55 PUs are working better with my setup than the hot 70s. The Roswells are also good pus in my opinion. I hope, you enjoy your guitars! Cheers!

I was so impressed w/ my 550 plus w/ EMG fat 55's, that I got more fat 55's for more guitars.....I just hope HB puts out the 550 plus EMG in more color choices
These EMGs sound great, yes. But the Teslas in the new model are similar in my opinion. I made a comparison video between the EMG SC550 and the Tesla SC550 and can't say, which I prefer. I hope, they offer these Teslas also in the Fusion guitars....
