Sorry for such a poor quality unboxing video guys. At the time I had no idea how to properly make videos. I'm doing my best to improve production quality and bring only valuable content to help people out. I will be posting a final review in the next day or so going over every issue you can expect from this PC and every positive thing you can expect. I appreciate every one who has given this small channel a chance. The likes and subs do not go un noticed thank you guys!!
Yea the cooling is really bad. The gpu also seems to run hot and the vram is really hot. undervolting seems to handle most of these issues as well but if you feel comfortable I also suggest changing thermal pads and paste on GPU.
I like the nactua fans. I got a high static pressure 3000rpm fan for the AIO and then some uphere RGB fans off amazon because they came with a fan hub.
considering the prices of stand alone GPUs it is a decent deal. You will absolutely have to make a few modifications and adjustments to get it to run at a decent temp. out of the box this computer overheats. and overheats extremely bad. I have all the videos up you would need to be able to fix those issues tho. Once you get the proper airflow and voltage settings going the computer works really well and handles anything you throw at it. I will be doing one more final review on this pc and then a full case swap and AIO swap. and posting all of the total cost to buy the omen and then swap into an actual good case. My specific model was the i9 10850k with the 3090 priced at 2,999$
I don't find the noise to be bothersome at all. I am a father of two kids and I also use headphones at all times while gaming/video editing. I think if you prefer having speakers and listing to audio that way it may be a bit of an annoyance but if headphones are your go to, you shouldn't even notice it. I hope that helps!
Just bought the same machine due to lack of GPU availability, what are your 3090 temps at full load? Also, what kind of 3090 is it, HP OEM 3090 or 3rd party?? Thanks
I use MSI afterburner now to control my fan curve better. Stock temps ran about 80-83c. With a better fan curve my temps are at 74c max. It is a HP OEM 3090.
I just ordered this a few minutes ago. Are you happy with your overall experience? Any issues I should be aware of? Thanks and hope your family is enjoying it!
Absolutely happy with it overall. it is a great computer especially considering you can not get the gpu any where else right now. The main issue is it does run to hot with factory cooling. I have a video on how I fixed that issue. the other issue is adding more ram later on to it, but I just solved that problem and will post a video soon about it.
@@jdwtv6530 thanks for the quick reply! Yea I'm aware of the factory cooling minor complaints and I already did a lot of research and solutions ready once i get it. I felt like the current price and shipping times offered by HP beats every other prebuilt sites.
@@jdwtv6530 I am considering getting this but I know the fans are lacking and the space to put more fans is limited. Had seen someone put fans on the bottom between the PSU and the front cage.
ok I will start working on the video right away. hopefully should have it up Thursday for you. I will go over all the proper fan placements and how to install them. Ill also go over everything I like and dislike so far about it. I will make it as in depth as possible for you. Feel free to subscribe and I will happily start a side playlist dedicated to just the HP omen and upgrades/improvements I make along the way.

Giving a kid a 3090 is like giving a 16yr old a Bugatti chiron

@@bconxept Not at all. I am actually surprised with how quiet this GPU is. My 1080 is much louder.

yes absolutely I will! would you like a full install video or just one explaining the fan types and differences?
