FAQ's:
Q: Does this video apply to my issues?
A: This video is for computers with no signs of life that appear 'dead'. It will also help if you see minimal signs of life such as lights only or some hard drive / fan sounds but they stop right a way. If you are able to see anything on the screen at any point or if the hard drive / fan sound remain on, your issue could be something else. Leave me a message with your exact symptoms and I can direct you to the correct video :)
Q: I have tried all the steps seen here without identifying the issue :(
A: If, after all these steps, you have not been able to find the issue, your most likely looking at a faulty component preventing the motherboard from working or a motherboard issue. I would start troubleshooting each component, starting with the charger and power jack. You can see those two videos here; • How To Test your Lapto... & • How to Fix Test Your H... . You can also try replacing other components like your Power Button to see if that is the route cause. If none of those are the issue, you would then be left with a motherboard replacement. - Наука та технологія

Hi, if I lost admin access is there a part that I can replace to use my laptop again? First it was asking for a Microsoft key product. Then I bought it and I don’t know what I did but I ended up losing admin access. Thank you!
No, you just have to boot another OS (from a USB stick, or a Windows repair CD etc.), then you can access and alter all files on your hard drive, including the one with the admin password
Hi, Thank you for your help. I have an Asus X543U Laptop with a non-removable battery. I have established that it is not the charger as I have tested the charger on other Asus Laptops(charger worked), and have tested their chargers on my laptop(still no power). I, unfortunately, do not have the correct size screwdriver to remove the panel to test if removing the internal battery would help.

I used my laptop on an IKEA pad for laptops, but I used it upside-down on the soft side. One minute before midnight I quickly without thinking put the laptop on a chair and the IKEA-pad on top. I ran out to see the fireworks!🎆 When I came back the laptop was dead except that it was very warm and the status indicator was blinking white/blue (turns red when charging - same lamp). To get it working again I pressed the power button for 10 seconds or so. Then I waited for the laptop to cool down. Then I could turn it on again! Thanks for the video! I used the Nvidia GFX. Perhaps if I had used only the Intel integrated graphics it would not have become so warm.

Hey, my laptop suddenly died on me. Went away(while it was on battery), came back shortly after, and the screen was black; the indicators also didn't light on. I've tried everything so far. The battery indicator doesn't light up when plugged in not even when on battery. I tried both with/out the battery. Fans don't even spin, just nothing. I can't try another RAM, the other one I got has a different plug-in. The power diode just beeps but nothing happens. Is there any way you could help out?
Sounds like your on the correct video. Have you tried the steps seen here?
Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?
Sorry for the late response. I've tried all the steps you've shown. There was nothing unusual with the laptop. It was used like every other day before. @@PC_Monkey

Hello my laptop turnes off during use randomly and after that it's completely dead. The charger light doesn't work too. The first step of your video works for me. Can i say it's a charger problem now?

I've owned a G512LV-ES74 (Asus Rog Strix G15, 2020) for 3 years, and I recently opened up my laptop to clean the fans. After disconnecting the battery connector and fan connectors, cleaning the fans, and putting everything back, my laptop will not turn on. I've done it before (sometime in 2022), but this time, there is no signs of life at all. Charging indicator does not light up when plugged, rgb lights won't turn on, nothing. I don't know how to remove the battery (only disconnect the connector), so I haven't tried that method you mentioned. I'm thinking I did something wrong (maybe forgot to plug something or something else) but I don't know, as I've doubled checked and remember plugging in everything I unplugged. There was no update beforehand, no spills, no overheating, etc. It worked completely normal last night. Could a battery or charger really die all of a sudden in the morning when the previous night it was completely fine?
In order to perform the power drain test, you only need to disconnect the battery from the motherboard. As long as its disconnected, plastically removing it is not needed :) If the computer worked before I enter it but does not work after, my first assumption is that I left something disconnected or loose. Does this help review all the connections? ua-cam.com/video/GLHCXWc1gbo/v-deo.html
Well crap first trouble shoot worked. Never would've thought that. Stopped after 10 seconds but yeah hold that down til the lights go out. Thanks a million bro!

hey bud, how's it goin'... I'm having no power issue with TUF a17 2021.... Last time it was turned off there was a cellphone charging, and a wacom pen display was connected via hdmi ( hdmi plugs into radeon and not the rtx 3070 graphics ) I believe this combo produced the issue... anyways I tried removing the adapter , removing the battery, cleaing static charge... nadda... then a couple days later I did the same and it powered up and turned on just on battery... another issue appeared... when the laptop is closed and not turned off and you open the lid, sometimes it is impossible to enter pass.... this is how it booted this last time... i did a restart trough win...same thing couldn't input pass.. the I did a shutdown, and again no power issue... When I connect the charger the battery light is white = 100%.... I also tried removing RAM didnt help... Only thing I can think off is going to my friends garage and use the multimeter tool to measure the charge on ac adapter and on battery.... If you have any other suggestion ; I would appreciate it.... by the way this model doesnt have a coin cell battery to clear CMOS (spoke with ASUS).. have a good one....

Hey!! I have an Asus vivobook s14 and it stopped charging. I have an internal battery that I had changed about 2 years ago. How can I find out if the battery is dead or there is something wrong with the charger?
Your computer turns on and works well other than not charging the battery? Or is your computer dead and wont turn on? Have you tried the steps seen here?
Well, this is a long shot but might as well.
I have an ASUS tuf f15 laptop and the power button itself isn’t working. I’ll restart it and update etc but didn’t shutdown for a while because of this.
Today I foolishly thought I could upgrade my ram and still be able to turn it on but nupeee. Any suggestions? If I can turn it on again there should be something I can do to turn on without the button (or replace it) every site and video I have found are about diagnosing or completely unrelated and I can’t seem to find any leads
If your power button itself it not working, it should be replaced. There are ways of 'jumping' many motherboards to turn it on without the power button but since there is a high risk of 'bricking' the motherboard if done incorrectly, I dont assist with that procedure here on my channel. Sry :( Have you tried the steps seen here?

I have a ASUS Q505UA laptop, that started to show some fatigue and delay in recharging the battery. As of tonight it performed its last recharge that took an hour to get to 20%, then it stopped working altogether. I tried a few of your suggestions to discharge the battery by holding the power button for a minute. Next I disconnected the power adapter, and repeated the power button hold. With each of the two attempts the power light never came back on. This led me to research battery placements. I came across a unit (ZTHY C1N1703 battery). The voltage range is 11.55v with a capacity of 52Wh. In addition I also looked at a UL Listed 45W AC Charger adapter that was compatible with my laptop. There is a slight snag that I am sure you could assist me with. The under body of the laptop does not have detachable component to extract the battery from, which leaves only removing the bottom portion of the laptop. If you could provide step by step instructions to dismantling the under carriage, as well as removal of interior components that would hinder easy access to the dead battery. My next project after this is resolved will be either replacing few non operating keys or just get a replacement keyboard. Thanks in advance.
Thank you it was very helpful. I was afraid

I would start troubleshooting each component, starting with the charger and power jack. You can see those two videos here; ua-cam.com/video/YBhsVHideGE/v-deo.html & ua-cam.com/video/HpabvrNaodU/v-deo.html. You can also try replacing other components like your Power Button to see if that is the route cause. If none of those are the issue, you would then be left with a motherboard replacement.
AHHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH, step 1 work for me!!!!

Hey man, I have asus laptop model L203M the battery isn’t accessible through the outside of the computer and I was wondering if you could help me get this thing to turn on

Does that help or was it not enough like yours? If you would still like help, feel free to post a video to your own youtube channel and message me back here. I can then view it and advise further. Or you can try to explain here what you are seeing :)
@@PC_MonkeyI tried what that video told me but it still will not turn on. When I open the computer it usually has 2 green lights indicating it’s fully powered on and that it’s charged/charging. But now it doesn’t have either of those lights and will not turn on. It’s almost as if the computer has no parts inside of it and is just the body of it. And this issue has happened 1 time before but it was fixed in less than a hour by me repeatedly pressing the power button. Now it just happen again and this time it has been longer than a hour and pressing the power button did not do anything.
