Really hope they make the third movie to finish it off completely. Heard it might take awhile though. The director said he really wants to take his time for the final one, and I agree, but let’s hope it doesn’t take too long. I just watched Dune 2 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Only 10 people in the theater. Not surprising. Very complex, especially with translation, I enjoyed it because I know the story and appreciated this interpretation. So deep, I’ll need to watch it again.

I agree 100%. Dune 2 should have been two movies. They ended up rushing through a huge amount of material. We didn’t get much about Gurney Halleck and the smugglers, Count Fenring, and the Spacing Guild. There were a whole lot of good changes but overall too rushed…

I do believe that the 1st part was more streamlined and satisfactory in a way that there’s something coming and in the end it delivers. Maybe comparing part 2 to the book while watching it took away from the enjoyment of the movie because so much was different. I’ll have to watch it again. The first one is a better viewing experience for me. The fantasy is great. Too much to see. But on part two, there's not much fantasy anynore coz you've already seen everything in part one. But still, this is a great film. The musical score is amazing, the graphics are insane, and the acting is spot on. Not forgetting the beautiful cinematography ❤

He’s entitled to his opinion obviously I just don’t see how this is possible, he took everything from the first one and greatly improved on it, I can’t think of a single thing in the film that was done worse. Pacing was great, a lot of action, great character development, delves deep into the lore and mythology, amazing set pieces, everything that was great about Dune Part 1 is like turned up to 11 in part 2 and if you didn’t like Part 1 because you thought it was a bit slower and there is a good chance you will like part 2
