I’d possibly recommend coming back to checking out knockoff cases in a couple months. I say this because over time these manufactures figure out how to make the product seem more real, and a big thing they need to do is to get the MagSafe connection to work.

I was using the iPhone 12 Mini Apple silicone case for a week or so, but it just created so much damn static. I couldn't take it anymore. I went with a Spigen thin fit. I do love the size of the thin fit and the handling, but Spigen went wwwaaaayyyyy hard on that rubber coating. I feel like there's a balance between handling and making the case feel weird to hold. It's not exactly sticky; it's just also not comfortable. I've been using this case for three months now but I think I'm ready to move on to something with a matte texture. Hell I think I might just go apple leather to see what that's all about these days.
I was interested to know if I bought a fake MagSafe case which I assumed I had. I wanted a budget MagSafe case so got a nice looking leather one off eBay. On the picture it doesn’t have the apple logo but when it arrived it came in non apple packaging in a clear bag. And the case feels, looks and acts like a legit apple one. The MagSafe is great. The MagSafe animation shows when the case is installed. The case even has the apple stuff written inside and the seams look amazing. So never quite figure out whether mine is legit or not. If it isn’t it’s incredibly well copied.

Idea: how to spot "fake" or inadequate repairs of iPhone as opposed to the real or authorised dealers. Basically, what do i check for misrepairs and wether or not it was done properly for most repair cases.

Are there after market non Apple cases that are “made for MagSafe”? Every non Apple case just says compatible. I got a 15 buck clear case off Amazon and the magnets are weak and no animation. Hate to spend Apple prices.

Hey, you could just press hard with your toes on the Apple logo in a silicone case, if the logo came out from the other side so you know it's fake. In original case this will not happen. Tell me if you succeeded. I did it with case of iPhone 11 . 90% of the apple silicone case build like I told you.

Wait so you purchased something from AliExpress and it actually delivered. I bought 3 fake cases in December and haven’t been delivered. Also the store i bought the cases in AliExpress is gone. I can’t get a refund until March because apparently it’s on its way. Lies I tell you :/
I purchased like four fake cases in colors I wanted that apple didn’t make. When I got them, they were so tight they barely fit the phone! I just took it as an L lol. They also came in the style of box that the iPhone 6, 7, 8 etc came in.
There are now 1:1 replicas who are almost as good as the real ones. iPhones actually detect them now to show the animation. Only way I could tell one as fake is by looking at the sides. Real cases are seamless while on the fake you will see one. A line around the edge, throughout present ever so slightly. Sometimes, I say sometimes you can see the inner microfiber lining, not lining up correctly and consistently throughout the inside edge.

My two cents for whatever it’s worth. The notion of explaining to us what fakes are compared to the real deal seems to be a little redundant. What I mean by this is, the majority of people want to see the best knock off brands that are out there. In other words, showing us what bands and/or accessories for the Apple Watch are amazing compared to the real deal makes so much sense to me. Admittedly, there is some other content providers that try and do this but no one seems to get it just right. People want to be informed and shown how amazing alternative cases and accessories are compared to the much much more expensive brand-name products. After all, who wants to spend 50 or even 500 on a strap and for an I watch, really! I love your videos and content I just thought you should focus on what people need and want.
