Just in case you wanted to know why Takeo had two swords, it is because, In samurai tradition, they carry two swords. One is short, one is long. The long sword is to be used for combat, and the short one is for them to take their own life. It is samurai tradition that all soldiers are to come out with a head in battle, or they’d take their own. As seen in the zetsubo cutscene, they would stab themselves with the short swords, and someone would decapitate them. Also, in samurai tradition is peace of mind, so if they felt at all not focused, or felt like they would lose, they would kill themselves with that short sword. Hope this helps

Indeed, it's the complexity of writing. Each character is saying goodbye to the player as much toward themselves. Nikolai hit me the hardest because of a period of grief and depression I had from my home life. To remain in pain is not the way to live and to move on from that mentality. To "kill your past" narrative. I am not completely satisfied with the story's ultimate ending, but I am okay with the characters going out on their terms.

9:10 The moment you realize that Dr. Monty and The Shadowman are no different from each other. Both are Apothicans and want to control the universe and this moment here shows Dr. Monty showing his true colors, wanting to erase the Primis crew from existence but sends them elsewhere.

Ik the launch of zetsubou wasn’t one of glory, and your comment was made only four or five months after its release, but after the years have passed, and bo3 zombies have aged, I’ve realized zetsubou is actually a great map. Still not as good as shadows of evil, der eisendrache, and gorod krovi, but better than revelations; a map that over the years I’ve realized is a terrible map.

You know I think they all were Richthofen just offed himself no fucks given. Tank Dempsey was selfless and did it to save the universe, Takeo figured out that his loyalty was to his allies (tank Nikolai and Richthofen) and not the emperor, and Nikolai was understanding of his other self because he went through the same pain of loss just found a better way to cope with it rather than alcoholism So in all honesty they all are unique and make you respect and love the characters even more. We are all blessed to have the four characters that mean so much to the fans
idk i think its weird that the painting/etching has citizens on it and in the EE cutscene they all look like old templar soldiers like in Origins. the painting looks like normal citizens to me.
Plot twist: Nikolai was in a long period of comma this whole time, Richtofen and Ludvig is his Doctors that keeps him alive, Dempsey is just the he saw in college the other day, Takeo is the last guy (possibly a bartender) nikolai met after blacking out, and Samantha is just his vision of his imaginary daughter, the rest is just his fever dream acting up
I hate how they don't give enough time for Takeo he is my favorite character. But I feel like to make up for this is they should have him decapitate Monty after they break the cycle. Or he makes the ultimate sacrifice.
Basically Games if anybody is gonna sacrifice themselves, I can see it being Richtofen. Because in a revelations trailer it shows him dying, or sacrificing himself. And everyone thought he would die in revelations. Maybe they were hinting at his death in a future map.

The revalations ending has a large mistake. Shouldn't Monty have know that sending them to primis time won't work since because he is the future and knows the aftermath.
We've already learned that Monty is not all knowing, otherwise he would've known the shadow man was in the summoning key. He doesn't realize that when he tries to erase the characters from existence the blood protects them once more and makes them become primis, which starts a paradox loop. He knew there was a paradox but he didn't know him "erasing them from existence" was what had caused it
Actually, he was going to erase them from existence but at the last moment changed his mind and made them primis. Which is why he says "actually, that all works out perfectly"
The Revelations ending is a easter egg to the picture obtained in Origins when you have to collect pieces of a photo of the 4 holding the staffs and standing on a rock and people are worshipping them. and the picture is shown without the pieces that were ripped.

Say what you want but I think that all BO3 maps were unique and great in their own way. Shadows - Obvs base map, it was so good and it had such a great story, gobblegums can be taken away easy, apothicon swords are so fun to use and upgrade, apothicon servant too. And Easter egg wise it’s so fun! The Giant - We loved Der Riese, we love The Giant, remaster it a third time I don’t think it’d be best. Such a fun bonus map Der Eisendrache - What’s bad to say, it’s so fucking good haha! That lightning bow though 🥵 Zetsubou - my least favourite but so good still Gorod - I don’t really like Gorod either but I would take it. Revelations - Final battle as we thought, but no. Rev is the best hybrid map we’ve ever gotten and I love Rev a lot

Japanese soldiers typically carried 2 swords for seppuku or for killing themselves. One is a full sword, the other is a shoto which is what they use for the stomach
@JohnyJ25 the cycle continues as you mentioned in your last video. That also explains why Nikolai has the bullet imprint on his chest before he was shot. He had already been shot there before because the cycle continued. That's just an interesting thought I had.
Hold on, what if richtofen knew that Monty would send them to the primis timeline and they'd get their hands on the original staffs so maybe in the super Easter egg or the next treyarch game we're working our way back to the perfect world to kill Monty with the staffs... Takeo isn't old... The test he is enduring is making him weak and exhausted making him seem older. Tank was the only test subject because they were late in catching him. Nikolai was before Richthofen started taking test subjects.

Say what you want but I think that all BO3 maps were unique and great in their own way.
Shadows - Obvs base map, it was so good and it had such a great story, gobblegums can be taken away easy, apothicon swords are so fun to use and upgrade, apothicon servant too. And Easter egg wise it’s so fun!
The Giant - We loved Der Riese, we love The Giant, remaster it a third time I don’t think it’d be best. Such a fun bonus map
Der Eisendrache - What’s bad to say, it’s so fucking good haha! That lightning bow though 🥵
Zetsubou - my least favourite but so good still
Gorod - I don’t really like Gorod either but I would take it.
Revelations - Final battle as we thought, but no. Rev is the best hybrid map we’ve ever gotten and I love Rev a lot

Japanese soldiers typically carried 2 swords for seppuku or for killing themselves. One is a full sword, the other is a shoto which is what they use for the stomach

@JohnyJ25 the cycle continues as you mentioned in your last video. That also explains why Nikolai has the bullet imprint on his chest before he was shot. He had already been shot there before because the cycle continued. That's just an interesting thought I had.

And what happened to "primis will fail"? and if the children are the souls of the characters (from the closed off universes than aren't they a paradox just like the blood? And won't they put the perfect world at risk just like the blood?
Also, we still never found out who "V" is! Or the bald man from the ascension poster! and How did Richtofen have the blood in origins?
and what about all these signs pointing towards Monty being the devil? Or at least evil! and why was he on the apothicon team in the Great War?

Takeo isn't old... The test he is enduring is making him weak and exhausted making him seem older. Tank was the only test subject because they were late in catching him. Nikolai was before Richthofen started taking test subjects.
