This video is what I was looking for. Noctilux 1.2 vs 1.0. Thank you for sharing. been watching a lot of your videos and I love it all. Keep on going 👊🏼👊🏼
Fantastic Video Jimmy! I moved from MP to M60 and reached the same conclusion as you. Summicron lenses are amazing all arounders. lf you shoot 28mm, a Nokton 28mm vs Leica 28mm video will be a dream =]
the Season of Cherry Blossom is the Time of Dreams , the fall of the Cherry Blossom Petals , is as the fall of the tears of the Dreamcatcher " , catch the petal , catch the tear , catch the Dream and make a wish 🌸🌠
I just love the rendering of my MD262. I shoot both film and digital, but the Leica MD is my favorite. Too bad not many were made so more photographers could enjoy a digital camera that shoots like film...!
Lovely blossoms (and model 😊 ). The Rigid 50mm does have a cooler color balance than later Leica 50s. It’s not hugely cooler, though. I like it myself. Your film scans might’ve been tilted warm by the developing lab too.
Did you scan the film yourself? Or use a lab? It would be really easy to adjust the very warm film files if you do the scan and inversion yourself. I do this all the time in Negative Lab Pro. Daylight balanced films don’t look that warm on an overcast day so I suspect it was a choice made by the scan technician.
The amount of flexibility in a negative is amazing. I wish I could scan your negatives and show you the results using NLP. Negatives are basically analog RAW files. The scanner tech has so much control over the final output that it makes it very difficult to do any sort of digital vs analog comparison. By the way, always love your videos.

thank you so much, I am glad you enjoyed it.
Nice to see you capture the cherry blossom season. If you like to go for photowalk sometime around Vancouver let me know.
For sure, thanks!

yeah that could be the case here as I have opted for "color correction" when scanning.

yeah I got jpgs back from the lab this time and didn’t do any tweaks. I have asked them to color balance though.

I prefer the film’s tones but digital can be remedied by WB adjustments easily
蠻好奇加拿大有辦法拍螢火蟲嗎?
刚收了只成色和成像都满意的夜神v4,就看到了黑漆rigid🤦
You didn't specify the type of film you were using.
Thought I did, it was 業務用100
