You forgot Darth Maul's 4th attack. If you chain 3 attacks then hold down the attack button you get an extra move.

Aayla Secura was always the best hero in the game. Huge range, knock back, very fast attack animations and the best force power combo.
Kit Fisto definitely takes her place now though. Force Orb is absurdly powerful.
My dad used to always own me with Ayla secure but sometimes I got him good with maul
I wouldnt say he takes her place, but he is up there.
His running attack isnt as good as Aayla's, which is the only running attack that can one-shot most Villians
One thing you missed out on was Ki-Adi Mundi is the only hero who can keep using his sprint attack until his stamina runs out. So fun front flipping killing enemies with that attack.
I thought Dooku and Palpatine could do the same thing? I know Dooku could with his weird lil skip-and-a-jump thing, but I also recall Palpatine doing repeated slashes.
Then again, I'm only going off the original, I don't know what all they've changed in the classic collection.

It seems like both Count Dooku and Palpatine are able to continuously sprint attack, but you still have to hold the sprint button the entire time and then attack separately, unlike Ki-Adi, where you just hold the attack button after sprinting once. Still cool and good regardless.
@@samueldiaz4561 The nuance of Mundi's attack, I did not know but that's a neat little additive to make them seem different. I guess it makes sense since if you look at their animations, they're using their momentum differently. Kind of a fun physics problem! I didn't play Master Mundi that much back in the day just because there were more appealing characters but it's impressive how much detail they put into this game even for smaller characters.

@latewizard301 I think it's because the AI is trying to use a range attack such as a lighsaber throw the same way other heroes do, but obviously, they don't have that ability so they just shoot lightning instead. I guess you can say it's just how the devs programmed them without this factor put into place, which also explains why heroes don't use other force abilities such as pull, push, choke. AI-controlled bots back then really were simple and limited compared to what we have now.

Best one I found that still works is with Anakin and Darth Vader if you start chocking then switch to throw lightsaber while holding choke you continue choking but stamina doesn't consume and you can still attack
If you press attack as soon as Darth maul flips once his feet touch the ground again if you time it right he does an extra little flurry attack. 🎉
I was surprised when you didn't try to look for any special moves with him but that was legit the first secret move I ever learned.
This was one of the funniest videos you ever did! I laughed when you pushed Ki-Adi Mundi into the water, and when two General Grievouses spawned in when you were Obi-Wan, and when you were telling Darth Maul to spare you when you were Chewie.
There's another secret with Maul. If you hold the attack button before he finishes his third swing, he will spin the saber above his head.
There’s another unique attack. If you do the full combo with maul and then hold the attack button on the 3rd strike, he does and extra animation. He twirls his saber around him and it’s kinda hard to land but awesome to perform.
Jango is the best bounty hunter in Star Wars.

Vader floats when you jump too and if you play palpatine in the deathstar map youll notice he doesnt actually walk or run he just kind of slides

Don't know if anyone mentioned this, but both Dooku and Palpatine can chain a really powerful force thing. If you force choke, quickly switch to lightning and keep using that force ability and that will kill an enemy in seconds. Same with Anakin and Vader if you force choke then quickly switch to throw your saber.
I know I'm not the only person to know this trick but with characters who have the Force Choke ability (at least in the original), you can catch someone in a choke and then quickly switch to your alternate Force Ability and continue to choke-hold the person without using stamina. It still does damage too, which is wild. Combine that with someone like Palpatine or Dooku who uses lightning and you can essentially beast any 1v1 since Force Choke is an unblockable ability (to my knowledge).
Ayla Secura is the most broken hero. A toddler could get 20 kills with her on multiplayer
Her attacks even have a hitbox on her back
Boba is better, he’s more well known, and he gets more attention but that doesn’t mean jango is bad

I really like the og Battlefront.
I still don't get how they messed up Ventress' starblades so much. One of the main things about the ability is that the starblades are supposed to bounce around for a bit, not get destroyed on impact. Kit Fisto seems to be accurate, just Ventress is wrong.

Idk if this is a bug or not, but Yoda is not supposed to walk that slow. Like it looks like he's moonwalking. I remember his walking animation is faster than this.
No I think it’s just a mandala effect happening, because I too remember him being faster but nope, I guess he was designed to be the slowest character unless he’s jumping, and his jump is the fastest. So kinda like what we saw in episode two and three. He’s old and slow when moving around, but once he starts jumping and attacking he’s nimble and quick.
@danquaza9275 nope. I just checked some gameplay right now of the original games, and I was right. They made Yoda slower in the Classic Collection. If you search up Yoda gameplay in the original Battlefront 2 game, you can see his walking animation is definitely faster and natural, while in the classic collection, he's very slow and moonwalking. I hope they fix this cuz he feels very clunky to use.

Another tip: choking with sidious or dooku, holding choke and at the same time switch to lightning. He will choke and do lightning at the same time, killing faster.
Also maul has a pretty useless 4th hidden saber strike(time it on the the third swing with left mouse and he'll do a extra lightsaber swing.).
Also the invinsibility cheat is pretty dope if that still works

You can use force lightning whilst using force choke.
When playing as yoda he's the only one who can jump 5 times when others can jump only 4

If you hold the attack button in on the last swing of mauls combo he will do a unique animation where he spins the lightsaber aver the top of his head instead of by his hip
If you choke someone then swap to lightening you can do both and it’s so op

Opinions aside, Darth Maul is the strongest Heroe/Villain his double bladed lightsaber can be thrown down a hallway and kill a entire team of ennemies.
Aayla is better, but yes Maul is easily a top 5 Hero
Well the battlefront collection mehhhh.... you can buy separate versions on xbox and it will still have the DLC. Kinda dissappinted in the collection.

Darth Maul one of the weakest heroes? Grevious one of the best? You got those backwards. Grevious looks cool and his moves are flashy, but you have to get close and he doesn’t have as much stamina, no saber throw for ranged damage and he isn’t super maneuverable. You can even see in the footage that, when he needs to change direction, he slows down and is very clunky. Even his sprint is slower than other characters. Darth Maul has like the same damage as Grevious up close, and he’s faster and more maneuverable and he not only has saber throw, but with his double saber he does even more damage! I remember I would get Darth Maul in a normal map and would win the match in like 2 minutes because he’s so busted. He’s easily the best.
The gunslinger heroes are hit or miss. They basically have reward weapons, Boba and Han basically have the reward rifle, Jango the reward pistol and Leia the reward Sniper. Chewbacca has the reward Missile launcher as well. So if you’ve unlocked the reward weapons for the standard classes it’s not as unique playing them. That said, Jango and Boba’s jump packs are super fun to use as are their array of weapons. Han is good but kind of boring, and Leia and Chewbacca are the worst heroes in the game hands down. Chewbacca just has a normal Wookiee bowcaster which suck, and his remote rockets are hard to control and don’t do much damage. Leia is okay if you are comfortable playing the sniper class, but they’re both super boring.

Like this guys made videos about how broken this game is and how it does not work and hated it to ride the hate wave and now after the hate is over he milks the game like there was never a problem to begin with.
