Im in a few months of a levels doing bio chem and maths, considering that I got an A in GCSE chemistry my knowledge is pretty solid, but a level chemistry is a tricky concept to learn and I have successfully followed these tips to gettong good grades in my mock tests for each topic. I really needed this because last year I was so interested in biology, I was studying it non stop and testing myself like there was no tomorrow. I got an A. However this year the chapters are less appealing to me and I really find it so hard to study those chapters. To sum it up I basically lost buckets of motivation and now my end of term exams are 3 weeks away and I have done NOTHING for biology. It's making me feeling so sad, thanks hopefully this will motivate me a bit 🙏🏼❤️

I got my gcse predicted grades today and I got predicted all 9s apart from in history where I got predicted a 7 and honestly this broke my heart because I want to do history a level and a history degree. I literally cried for a solid 2 hours thinking I was a failure and that my predicted grade meant I wouldn't get anywhere in life but then I realised that by crying, I wouldn't get anywhere. So now I have made it my goal to get that 9 in history and I'm going to commit 100% of myself into it as well as all my other subjects by revising really hard using these tips- I hope this gave some of you some hope that you shouldn't let failures hold you back xx

For me, the best way is to rewrite the most important notes. Re write them because if you just skim over them, you'll think you understand it, but you may not. So by rewriting it, you're able to go over it again. And yes, look at all your practice questions. Majority of the time, most of the questions are similar.

I found A-level Chemistry relatively easy until this past week. I had almost the same rage as you with Chemistry because finding orders of reactions from a table is kiiiillling me.
I totally agree with this video, but I have one question: tomorrow I have a French test.. How do I apply this 3-step method with French? Because, surely, all you need to learn is your vocab & tenses. If you have any advice surrounding French, I would really appreciate it :) EDIT: it is a writing exam
jade, in school we do all our work in our books but we never get to take our books home unless we have homework that needs to be done in our books (that's only history, physics, chemistry and german). so i can never go over what we've done in class at home which is really frustrating. i've stayed after school to revise for history, science and maths but i have very little to revise from from home. i have loads of time before my gcse's (i'm in year 9 currently, but at my school we chose our options in year 8 and start gcses in year 9) but the course is still the same, just stretched across a longer period of time so i have to get things in my head right now otherwise i'll fall behind. i'm so sorry this is so long but yeah i'm having a bit of a meltdown!!

ahhhh thanks for replying. Yep we're not doing all the papers for all our subjects so it's not too bad. Like for science, we're only doing paper 1 for each individual science so it's not all bad. xx

I totally agree with this video, but I have one question: tomorrow I have a French test.. How do I apply this 3-step method with French? Because, surely, all you need to learn is your vocab & tenses. If you have any advice surrounding French, I would really appreciate it :)

jade, in school we do all our work in our books but we never get to take our books home unless we have homework that needs to be done in our books (that's only history, physics, chemistry and german). so i can never go over what we've done in class at home which is really frustrating. i've stayed after school to revise for history, science and maths but i have very little to revise from from home. i have loads of time before my gcse's (i'm in year 9 currently, but at my school we chose our options in year 8 and start gcses in year 9) but the course is still the same, just stretched across a longer period of time so i have to get things in my head right now otherwise i'll fall behind. i'm so sorry this is so long but yeah i'm having a bit of a meltdown!!
