I was there! Ive been to sooo many metal shows both secular and Christian, but this one? It was on another level. Best metal show Ive ever been to, and thats saying something.
Remember, seeing the crucified in Laguna Beach in 1991 and I will say one of the best metal bands around. I was shocked when my buddy told me that they were Christian literally the concert was like this.🤘🏻🤘🏻👍👍
Jim Chaffin and Greg Minier are both great friends of mine. I ride with Greg and was the original guitarist in his current band, Sonic Revolution, a tribute to The Cult. Jim used to drum for a local top 40/metal band called Sarge Loda, which I had the pleasure of sitting in with when he was still with them.
I don't know if you still check comments, but thanks for posting this. I saw them several times in high school and their still one of my favorite bands. This is one of the only videos I've seen that has a produced look to it.
Came here after watching some Tom MacDonald. Found it ironic that rap fans were surprised at an artist saying don't trust government and propaganda, when punk and metal have been saying that for decades.
I played this song on college radio when originally released Huge thanks to manager Tim Anderson for being a penpal.and supportive by long distance. If only all bands had a great Christian like him around.
Tim is a great guy. He was very supportive of the METAL-CROSS project and was more than happy to see THE CRUCIFIED music video on the Metal-Cross television show.
si muy buena banda, hace poco que la encontré. Hasta ahora una de las mejores para mi junto con Tourniquet, thank for this vid it's so good, God bless you... Christian Metal Rocks.
+Muskratt schiebel Oh so close!!! The footage is actually from Cstone 1992. You can get the the re-release of their music and the DVD that this footage was taken from off "The CRUCIFIED...The Complete Collection," 2 CD & DVD set. Blessings Bro!
lol what's the difference between regular metal and christian metal if you can't understand them anyways? Wouldn't it be cool if someone put together a festival that battled satanic vs christian bands lol
I used to love this band until the lead singer Mark Solomon was on my facebook and almost everything he posted was complete anti gun hatred for the NRA. I hope that The Crucified and Stavesacre never show up in my playlist again.
Eh, Mark grew up in a liberal Christian family. I think he runs camera for NASCAR now which is kind of funny considering the lyrics to this song. But you know, it's just one of those things, people have different ideas on right and wrong regardless of belief. In the end, Mark is truly a good guy and does have the best of intentions. I think if you spent 5 minutes with him you would feel like old friends.
Haha the guy swinging his hair back and forth in the purple shirt was my old high school teacher Mr. Minier! He still know how to rock out!
Dang that's cool
best metal guitarist from fresno ever,...
The guy you call “Mr. Minier” is a freaking rock star to some of us.
Hablas del Guitarrista ????.. 😮 fue tu maestro se secundaria enserio ??
Man, I miss The Crucified.

year in metal history.
Wait. Who is the second guitarist windmilling with Minier during the slow groove breakdown? Looks kind of like Truby.
Looks like Cornerstone footage. I was there…
This is pretty good. Kinda of Patton-ish.
It’s awesome to see all the people so into it.
I guess that’s in the past now… bummer.

I was at cornerstone in 91. One bad pig was playing at the same time recording a video. So I missed these guys. Bummer.
0h s0 g00d....
Esta banda está buena, porque no la comentan en el mundo cristiano, ahí muchos que nos gusta este estilo.
Anyone know what they're chanting in the beginning?
Yep..."United by Christ, united! United by Christ, united!..." Same thing at the end. It's easier to hear at the end.
This sounds so different, especially the kick drums tone. lol
This is definitely not a live recording. Album version, superimposed with the live audience sound / footage and re-timed.
Christian Punk Hardcore
YEAH !! FAT !🥇🥇🥇
Rapcore!
Crossover
why would you do this to the song
lol what's the difference between regular metal and christian metal if you can't understand them anyways? Wouldn't it be cool if someone put together a festival that battled satanic vs christian bands lol
You can understand them. Jesus, if you don't like then don't critique it, leave!
I did leave for 2 years you just brought me back in to this.
There was a tour with Stryper, ACDC, and one other band, it was pretty cool!
edit: I think the other band was Anthrax now that i think about it
I used to love this band until the lead singer Mark Solomon was on my facebook and almost everything he posted was complete anti gun hatred for the NRA. I hope that The Crucified and Stavesacre never show up in my playlist again.
