      @@BustedWalletGarage I got it all together and for some reason I have a no crank no start, and the car doesn’t want to come out of park 😂😂
      Battery is topped off, lights on. Starter not engaging. Shifter is locked out doesn’t start in neutral.
      If I remover shift linkage I can change gears at the trans and on the shifter, when I bolt it back up and put it into park it doesn’t come out and park is a little firm going into it.
      Tried to start in neutral would not start, so I don’t think it’s neutral safety switch.
      I did ground out the negative lead on the bell housing, maybe that’s wrong?
      I did unplug the computer at one point, could it be locked out? On the cpu?
      Threw in a completely new valve body maybe that is the issue?
      I had a ton of fun with it now it’s just a matter of getting it to turn over 😂😂

      @@HVACRILLA oh man that sucks. Need a real deal scanner that shows real time inputs/outputs of sensors & devices to see what info the computer is lacking.

    THIS IS SUCH A GREAT VIDEO! WELL DONE! I AM HAVING THAT SAME ISSUE. SLAMMING SOUND WHEN I PUT IT INTO REVERSE AND IT'S NOT THE SOLENOIDS. THIS HELPED ME SO MUCH!

      @@YepThatsIt Hey sir, I apologize for bothering you again. I just had a quick question. Obviously I have to drain the transmission fluid from the pan but when I get to the part At 7:32, when I take that end cover off, will there be a bunch of transmission fluid that comes out or no?? I just want to make sure I don't make a huge mess or waste transmission fluid.

    Hey there. If i had the back of the transmission (opposite end of TC) pointing up would the cushion plate at the steels and frictions point up like a bowl or down like a dome?

    My 2007 Focus shifts perfect. The auto trans started whining but acts fine. The whine goes away in reverse. 77,000 miles. It seems the loudest right behind that LH cover in your video. I can pull it but would rather not. Best guess? Thank you. James G.

      Hi, really hard to diagnose noise problems without having a look. Does noise change with revs or speed? Is it in a particular gear or P or N ?

    i had same transmission on my mazda 3 2005, it clunks hard goin to reverse.. my axle are all good, whats supposedly the problem? and possible check the differential gear

    Hey buddy... to access this rear cover, what is need to be done to get enough room to pull everything? would you do it from underneath (removing wheel ends, etc.) or from up top?

      Hi, in no particular order....need to support motor from top , undo the eng. mount on left side bolted to trans, loosen the subframe bolts on right side and remove both front and rear subframe bolts on left side, remove left wheel and the pwr steer hose if bolted on subrame. this will allow you enough room to slide out the end cover, and band etc. you would need to remove trans to get to fwd clutch, pump and torque converter. not a real difficult job just make sure all is clean before you begin and have somewhere to line everything up in order as you remove it....have fun cheers

    Hey hopefully you see this I bought a 06 mazda 3 with a fnr5 didn't ship past 3 high revs no engagement so I replaced it with one from an 11 I already had. First time didn't realize I didn't have torque conveter seated all couldn't turn crank so pulled back out and installed correctly but made loud noise after but shifted through gears and reverse banged so decided to check it next day but it didn't want to move at all so assumed the worse and got a junkyard fnr5 out of a mazda6, last one that'd maybe work. But still made noise and didn't engage at all so decided to start back to square one original trans. Found the noise coming from starter caught on flywheel. The trans shifted through all gears on a lift. But locked up at 3rd on the road so I just parked. So my question is can this possibly a harness issue or TCM's acting up because the 2nd trans and the original reacted the same way shift alright reverse bang next day no engagement, also if rev high dash catches 3rd and does silly burnout

      hi, you may have done damage by not installing the torque converter properly. when you bolt up the bell housing the torque converter needs to be free and you should be able to push it in and out if you put a bolt in it with just a few threads in. what are the manual gear selections like? any fault codes? sorry i`m away fro a week and cant reply till i get back. good luck and cheers

      @@YepThatsIt I thought as well so I check the crank thrust clearance and it was good. Do you think I messed something else to make the starter to get hung up, because if I remove the starter the noise will go away. After each time removing the trans's I inspected and they didn't seemed to be sheared. Unfortunately the battery is dead on it, I'll have one soon to give me something to go on. Shifted 1 and 2 on the lift with manual gear but didn't. really think about it when I drove it.
      My thing is when I replaced it the first time it drove all gears but next day nothing. When i reverted to the original shifted throughe 1-3 that it had next day nothing. Hopefully I'll get more info by the time you're back thank you . Tc was free

    Hello! Please help! I am having this 3 codes:
    The inccorect 3 gear ratio.
    The indicates that the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has discovered an abnormality in the transmission fluid pressure sensor circuit.The is an trouble code signaling a problem with the transmission component slipping.Any possible solution? do i have to replace the transmission or it is something more electrical related?

    I keep getting a solenoid d stuck closed on my Focus. Car wont shift into 2nd and also doesnt want to shift from 3rd to 4th. Replaced all solenoids and didnt help the issue. A wrench light comes on and then it wont even allow you to turn off overdrive. Wondering if one of these clips or bands have possibly come loose.

      hi, contaminated or worn solenoids get stuck. i`d send back to your supplier. make sure you get screenshot of scan. cheers

      hi, won`t go into 3rd gear or slipping in 3rd? what else is happening ? ( other gears ? ) have you tried gears manually? could be low fluid, direct clutch burnt out, 2-4 Band servo bore worn ( not releasing ) or servo o`rings or shift solenoid or combination of any or all these. check out powerflow and solenoid application chart on my videos. cheers

      Hi, probably internal pressure leak ( worn transmission hardened seals ) when fluid warms up it is thinner so escapes through leaks easier and quicker. try transmission conditioner fluid or Moreys Honey to try thicken up the trans fluid. will only be a temporary remedy though. cheers

      Basket 3-4 gear broken. Worn sealing rings in the basket and damaged bearing.I apologize for the mistakes, I write through the translator cheers
