From the outside, the Elektron workflow seems pretty impenetrable. You did a good job making it seem less.
Once you get your hands on one the workflow is relatively straightforward. But incredibly creative.

thanks for the video! whats your opinion of the Rytm MK2's as i read a lot about bugs. would you recommend the product? Or do you prefer another in terms of drummachines? its quite an investment!

What abou tge dual vco ? Is it better than the analog four for nasslines ? Tge rytm seems to have more low end and agressive sounds than the analog four...

Did you know that holding record and double tapping play toggles auto quantize?
yeah, I just don't like my whole track quantized
Can you add probability to the retriggers, so that for example the step triggers 50% of the time but the retrig only occurs 25% of the time?
3:25 was just perfect. At the end beat felt overcooked.
It's amazing how musical 0 - 3:25 sounded. It takes determination to learn this damn box, ugh.
Hey, I’ve enjoyed a lot of your videos. I have an octatrack mki and want a RYTM to pair with it, do you think it would be a mistake to get an mki to save money?

So, I did want to use only an op-1 for live use... but I feel the drums are not warm enough?... What about Moog dfam...and can you sync op to that or any other drum machine. Which drum machine is small and analog heaven? thanks.
AdrianVino Op1 can make some good drums, the drum sequencer makes it tedious to do live mutes though. hmm small and analog... maybe some of the MFB stuff
can you conditional trig on a retrig so sometimes it plays once and other times it plays however many its set to?

I love the rthym. I sold my Mk 1 to buy Mk2...However, now I'm torn whether to buy mk2, or just get the digitakt and put the left over money to something else..

The latest is 1.40D it will still freeze but some guys say that did help with them. They are working on it but keep your fingers crossed and maybe scout some alternatives. I had mine go at a show......it was awesome
Just got a new one, no freezing anymore! Preinstalled version is 1.40D indeed, so guess it's from a fresh batch as well.
So you bought one? I thought that you were into MPC gear instead? I like it but there are tons of hardware/firmware freeze bugs and that is why I am holding off until Elektron fixes the Rytm issues.
There's always problems with Elektron gear when it comes out but theyre pretty quick to make software updates. Its solid!

Do you think the rytm MK2 is also suitable for hip-hop and trap music? Or would you go MPC/Maschine for such genre's?
Hans Klok it’s not only an analog machine, it can also play samples... also, the retrig feature will allow you to make this trap hi hats think easy :-)
So definitely it should be all good.
