"you dont look autistic🤓" "oh im sorry lemme just **insert 100090889089796766756667868666 facts about trains and bangs head to the wall whilst saying the meanest things in existance**
“you don’t look autistic” **pulls out notebook where I have made over 60 pages of notes on the English and Scottish witch trials in gory detail** **puts on the noise cancelling headphones that I keep in my bag for loud emergencies**
Isn't that more of a complement? That despite all of the oddities that come with being on the spectrum, people see you as just a generally cool person? You being on the spectrum doesn't change their opinion of you, they still think you're alright, even if you don't think so yourself. If people really wanted to be mean, you would notice it in their tone. Don't beat yourself up about it. You can't see the forest for the trees like that. (It's a metaphor.)
It's more of a stereotype form from negative stigma and generalizations. Every group has its stereotypes that has some truth to it, but does not define everyone in that group equally. But for people who don't know what it is like, they think that generalization is true for all cases. Hence their surprised reaction that you're nothing like that. In a good way.
I hate people like that, they said stupid stuff that isn't true but if someone ever proof them wrong they still don't believe it anyway.
Those people don't like the dart monkey I bet 😤
@@CasualDjungelskogBeliever what's darn monkey have to do with this?
