I heard "Warhammer", "cafe", and "Japan", and my mind went into a totally different direction because themed cafes in Japan have ruined me. I was expecting drinks being served by Sisters of Battle, a Commissar being assigned to your table making sure you aren't ordering anything heretical. A Guardswoman spending time with you and talking about her battle exploits while she's on leave. I wasn't expecting a store with an actual cafe.
Its pretty much exactly like the Warhammer Citadel stores in Dallas and LA, which is also just a big gw store with a coffee shop in it, which they mention in the video
The only problem with having a beverage close to me while painting would be to accidentally dip my brush on it and then take a sip... Happened a little to often which is why I no longer eat or drink while working on minis...
The only thing that would make this place absolute perfection would be women dressing as sisters of battle serving the drinks or guys dressed as space marines serving the drinks or even better people dressed as tech priests serving the drinks
I love this hobby and I LOVE watching your videos I wish I could go there please make more videos about painting warhammer your videos are great keep mmaking more
Now, this is a winning combination from GW. How cool would this be in your town? Instead of the usual little shops that are common for Warhammer stores.
Telling you whats inside a Dark Angels themed drink or dish is such a no-go, after all we are not properly intoduced into the inner circles... Anyway, its wonderfull to see such a store and your ecperience there!
I was there last week. The salesman there was excellent, he could speak English (assumably) natively and he talked our ears off for about an hour about anything we wanted to know
Id assume RC and Table top hobbies could do well in Japan ? I miss the good ol days when RC stuff was made in Japan. This is a cool 40k store no doubt.
Culturally speaking the Japanese businesses tend to be very customer service oriented. Does that mean this will be the first Games Workshop store to not treat customers like crap?
This can never last in the US :(, we got Karens, Hipsters, Entitled Brats galore... They would wreck the stores, sue the stores, write nonstop bad yelp reviews, etc until there is none left :((( siiiigh.
Meanwhile my local GW is a small hovel you can just about fit 10 people in, which smells of rising damp and people that have never seen the inside of a woman thigh or understand personal hygiene.
When I heard of “Japan cafe” I think of Japanese girls waitresses. This caught me off guard, the whole thing look completely normal for a theme event area in Japan
I feel bad for not watching as much beavs as I used to, this channel has such a special place in my heart. Excellent little vid tho, ask my Warhammer friends more about the lore now
Same and i may have missed some of beavers videos.. shame since i was doing lots of school work and stuff but rn everytime i watch his videos it always brings me joy 😊
Ive very recently got into the hobby and honestly its the best thing ive ever done. Ive made friends that are into the hobby themselves. I did be a bit stupid and bought pretty much every Seraphon related box out there so i have 100+ models to paint but i love it, plus you kinda got me into it when i watched you streamed painting your models. So thank you James for this amazing passion you helped me discover.
@@Syreave yeah man, I can't wait to get all the new models aswell, I've asked my local store manager if I can have first pick of them. Haha it's gonna be an expensive day when they get released
Love Japan, but boy do they do racism even more powerfully than America.. if you don’t look Japanese you are referred to as “foreigner”… imagine just saying you look “unamerican” to people at Walmart, it’s exactly the same and it’s brutal I’d assume, although I’m not American and am just going off of social media.
Still waiting for the "Imperial Knight Maid Cafe" experience, just like the meme; *[CRASH CRASH CRASH CRASH] "Okaerinasaimase, goshujinsama!! Welcome to the Knight Cafe!!" [IMPOSSIBLY LOUD WARHORN BLASTS]*
As someone who has been doing it for almost 2 decades, the precision you think you need to do it is likely a misconception. Sure, you can get into the fine details like eyes if you want to, but If it looks good from an arm's length away, you're fine.
Its honestly easier than you think, as someone with shaky hands and horrible art skills. I love to paint minis! Espicially since it really just comes down to technique and what colors you use. There are plenty of super easy tutorials that give you good guides on how to make your models look pro. Things like washes and the new contrast paints do alot of the heavy lifting.
As Nottingham born and bred. I drive past Games Workshop Headquarters every day for work. It's so nice to see this little company from humble beginnings slowly taking over the world 🌎...This is such a cool shop! I need to make an Imperial guard with Robin Hood.
this is honestly so cool, I wish i could go here, the amount of detail in the drinks and the terrain in the glass cases. also a very nice paint job beaver.
I got into Warhammer because of you and I finally bought some necrons not to long ago, so this is a perfect video after I think 1-2 years since your first Warhammer video. Great videos as usual, keep up the good work!
Hey beaver idk if you were aware but the isle was adding three new dinosaurs at once, it was ceratosaurus, troodon, and some kind of small therizinosaurus looking thing
Kind of am disappointed ngl, likewise also was thinking the same thing but it's just a warhammer store with a side bar with beverage.
This was my exact thought.
I thought it was a facade to actually recruit people for the astra militarum
Its pretty much exactly like the Warhammer Citadel stores in Dallas and LA, which is also just a big gw store with a coffee shop in it, which they mention in the video

I love seeing the Warhammer stuff. Keep it up Beaver!
My local Games Workshop here in Australia stocks Forgeworld stuff, I just bought some Kriegers while my friend bought 2 primarchs.
OF COURSE it is themed dark angels. Dark Angels are the Anime Space Marine Order, always have been. I KNEW IT!
At the End of March I’m going to Japan with my family for 2 weeks so this will 100% be on my list of visits while we are in Tokyo!
this looks absolutely sick
Patterrz is here? An unexpected suprised but a welcomed one

I'm surprised you didn't beeline straight to the Seraphon stuff, the army full of dinosaurs.

getting to live in Tokyo and work in a Warhammer store/cafe, as a foreigner, must be a dream come true
The only thing that would make this place absolute perfection would be women dressing as sisters of battle serving the drinks or guys dressed as space marines serving the drinks or even better people dressed as tech priests serving the drinks
If our London Flagship store looked more like this with a Cafe I'd def go there a shyt load more man. Awesome!!!
Yea but the UK has Warhammer world, That beats everything else

holyshit i used to watch you when i was younger.... AND NOW YOU COVER A WARHAMMER CAFE. Welp I'm visiting japan in the summer anyways so might as well
The fact that this cafe is opening with theme of the Dark Angels and at the same time Lion'El Johnson is back is sooo cool
Telling you whats inside a Dark Angels themed drink or dish is such a no-go, after all we are not properly intoduced into the inner circles...
Anyway, its wonderfull to see such a store and your ecperience there!
In Japan, near Australia? MajorKill needs to visit this cafe and make a review about it.
I mean what is there to review? It's a warhammer store that sells coffee
I’m going to Japan next month. Adding to my list of visits and purchases
Damn thats cool
Definitely going to check this out!
Now i want a Warhammer Cafe in Phoenix. I would love to try a Lizardman themed drink.
MAN! even wiuth the limited camera view....... Tokyo is cleaner that any city in the USA. that was nutty
5:06 The Fallen? I've never heard of The Fallen? Have you? You know where they are?
I was there last week. The salesman there was excellent, he could speak English (assumably) natively and he talked our ears off for about an hour about anything we wanted to know
In the grim darkness of the far present, there is only brunch.
This is so cool, I wish I could go see it one day cause that epic
Didn't hear any scuttlebutt about this cafe/store opening. Guess I'll go down and see it on Sunday.
Looking forward to visiting in May 😬
Honestly I would like to se a cafe like this in my city but I don't think it would be posible
This would be a dream if this was in my city.
Ive seen your warhammer videos, but this is tempting me to try so warhammer stuff! Thanks beaver

What do you mean by the fallen? The first legion have no secrets!
We need more Warhammer videos
For a moment I thought the drink was WRATH OF TALIBANS 😂😂😂
Let me guess you have to sell your first born child for an americano, gotta love those GW prices.
they should pay someone that can actually paint so the models looks good for the display
Culturally speaking the Japanese businesses tend to be very customer service oriented. Does that mean this will be the first Games Workshop store to not treat customers like crap?
Only in Japan can you have a store like this I think.
