btw beaver, you keep on saying "they didn't t turn out as good as I wanted" and I keep thinking: "that is 100 times better than I could ever do, that looks pretty cool!" right before you say that
Beaver you can say its rewarding to do but that doesnt change the fact that you're sacrificing your first born and selling your left kidney to pay for it all But for reals though your figures look awesome
Hi beaver I just wanted to let you know that you are the reason why my lockdown isn’t boring:) I get so excited when you post a video and they are always amazing😌 You really are a legend
Flipping amazing beaver, that steady hand of yours and eye in detail from scratch marks, to rust to the wearing down of the machines absolutely brilliant. This is making me want to get back into drawing and painting 😁😁👍🏻👍🏻
Ok, a few things. 1, oh my gosh beaver you’re an amazing artist! 2, what exactly is warhammer and how do you play, it seems fun. 3, good to see beaver is doing well!
It's so cool to see that a UA-camr I've been a fan of for years has a similar hobby as me. I've gotten into painting recently but I've been doing Transformers. So far I haven't completely painted a figure but if I can find the few I've been thinking about, I'm ready to go from touching up and picking out details to completely repainting an entire figure. It'll be a challenge, but it's one I'm looking forward to
Beaver you are the one reason why I started painting I have painted , and I have painted 9 stuff in 2 days most of it is warcraft. Thanks for your amazing work/vids
i havent watched the whole video but you should try some guardsmen for cool and easy tanks but also some small and detailed humans, i recommend death korps of krieg bc they are badass.
If you want to get into Warhammer, I definitly recommend Bricky's 2 part series of explaining every question if you want to familiarize yourself with the franchise, its what dragged me into it.
YOOOOO I didn't know you collect warhammer too that's so cool I been in this hobby for 17+ years but it's so nice to see new faces in this hobby we welcome you in open arms
You do warhammer paints too? Iv always wanted to get into the crafts of it but can never seem to find unpainted units of space marines or any figures or what have you, what sites do you prefer for finding any unpainted models?
Remember when you did the Assassin's Creed Valhalla demo in July? Can you please do a full play through? Its up to you though because unless you get a sponsor by Ubisoft it is you making the investment in to the game.
Although I knew about the hobby very vaguely, I'd never watched something about painting figures before! I found both videos really interesting, and it's amazing and heart warming to see how far you've come in a year Beavs! I think your figures look fantastic! And it was really fun to hear about the progression of your obsession. cx This was also a really welcome reminder for me as an artist that you can improve, with training and persistence and time committed to your craft. I had been in a bit of a rut about my art for the past few days, and these two videos really helped give me back hope that I can make it to the level I want to be at. I loved the way you went about gradually building up your confidence inch by inch, and now I want to use the same technique with my art! I was also really inspired and surprised by some of the figures' designs! They were very refreshing to me. Thank you so much for these videos Beavs! And it would be awesome to have another 6 month update on your collection when the time comes. c:
I've been thinking about getting into miniature collecting for some time now. Learning to paint was one of the bigger problems for me. But your progression in just one year is really encouraging. Thanks James
In this hobby you're always learning and progressing your skills and techniques. I've been at it for 30 years now and have only just gotten around to playing at weathering techniques, especially dirt, rust and streaking. It's changed the way I paint in that I now avoid bright clean colours for other than slight highlighting. I hate it (for the time it takes) and I love it (for the realism of war).
Part of the painting hobby is to start off painting something. Overtime, you’ll improve and you can look back on your mistakes to help you know what to do in the future. It can also help provide a timeline of sorts to help show how far you’ve come
Freud of a death is hard to deal with he's doing it this way I'm sorry for your lose beaver I've been watching for years and I haven't friend in years but when I saw your video I cried for a minute

Agreed!! Beaver is talented.
He’s way better then he gives his self credit for
You say the truth
yeah they look better than most of what i do and ive been painting for 3 years
You'd be surprised how easy and quick it is to improve and understand painting concepts once you get into the hobby
This is getting out of hand, now there are 30,000 of them!
