- We do the Pensacola and Pensacola Beach travel guide here. First we start out in Pensacola after driving in from Mobile Alabama. It was raining and the weather was not ideal for the beach. So we walk around downtown Pensacola and get some food. Then we head over towards Pensacola Beach in the morning after taking a detour. Pensacola beach along with Destin and Panama City Beach is among the top places to visit along the pan handle of Florida as well as all the Gulf Coast and even the entire country.

I live in Pensacola. If y’all are planning on coming down here please keep a couple things in mind. There are trash cans at every exit so please throw it away! And don’t climb the dunes! It’s a blast but we gotta be mindful of all the history
Any places a family should avoid if visiting?
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 i mean in downtown not really id say there are a few places but if u dont go looking you wont find em
@@direscuffd8426 Thank you!
Yes
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 yes avoid wild Greg’s saloon. Not hard to get in a fight... it’s advertised as a country bar , plays no country music. Jus a bunch of thugs looking to pick up drunk girls
I got chills when you were talking about the smells of the magnolias. I love that smell. Very nostalgic to me. Great video!
Great opening! Headed to Florida soon! Need to feel that freedom! good job! Thanks! God Bless our Military! Thank you for your service!
I’m a Floridian : graduated from University of West Florida in Pensacola.
Listen , please please please don’t do what this guy did ...
He actually walked around on The beach holding his shoes!!
Please don’t !!
Wow
Anyway , hope you enjoy our state.we 🧡 our tourists.
@@danamclemore3805 Why the shoe warning? Needles on beach?
These videos are well made, its like the travel channel
I was in Pensacola back in the early 80s for flight school. Still love the place 😎🇺🇸
I really enjoyed your video. Great channel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Greetings from Albania. 👋🏼 🇦🇱
I especially love this area in the early fall after school starts back. It's much quieter and relaxing. I'll be there next week. It'll be my first time going in May.
I love this area. The bridge opened two lanes on Friday. To me, I love Fort Pickens and the undisturbed beaches that are a part of the National Seashore Preserve. The drive towards Nivarre is a must see.
taking fam down end of the month....will have to check out!
@@moonsikkim1209 I prefer the Navarre area. I think there are a few sports you can stop to hit the beach. It’s just a beautiful area.
Just got home from Pensacola, wonderful time with the kids! Our condo at portifino was excellent but pricey, perhaps a hotel would cut expenses? Loved this beach so much!! Can’t wait to come again!
I’m living in the north now but I grew up here. Such a beautiful place 💕
I loved this walk through video of Pensacola, Florida!! You did great 😊 and Thank you 🙏
I went there a little over a year ago and I loved it there. Gorgeous beach and nice town and super nice people
Magnolia blossoms smell of lemon, not the mothballs in granny's closet. Liked the McGuire's coverage. Their fish n chips are good.
Magnolias shed 4 times a year , get ready to rake!
Great video on this area! You really showcased it well! Great job!
Man I love hearing you talk about my part of the world!! Very accurate
I have relatives that live there, love Pensacola!! I grew up on the Mississippi coast and spent many days on Pensacola beach. The bay bridge is open now too.
It's always the beach side and downtown that gets all the attention, wish the other parts of town had stuff happening
They do but we keep that on the DL.
Awesome quality walk! Always good to see videos like this 👌👌
Very Great Walk in Pensacola !!!! have a nice day !!! 💛🧡
The water is gorgeous and so clear. You did a great job filming it
Nice video Jeff love sand beach. Go through Florida again
Im getting stationed in pensacola in a few weeks...doing some research, so thank you for the infomation. Hooyah!
Makes me so happy I live here!
I really enjoyed my time in Pensacola. It is very wet and swampy but the people are great!
You definitely came when the weather was behaving it is normally sweltering hot by May. We got lucky and had a gorgeous 2 weeks in the 70s/80s. That never happens. So many other great things to do/see but you got some of the bigger, touristy things checked off. 👍
this food looks amazing. Thanks for showing this beautiful place. Great beaches.
Happy Father s day. I have to pay u guys a big compliment, YOUR AUSOME. U guys are smart gentleman and u have great MANNERS. And I Love 💕 u. Too the best guy s ever. Your the BEST PENSACOLA. I LOVE YOU!.
The bridge is fixed!!
Well half of it, 2 lanes

I still prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city with beautiful beaches and a growing communities and businesses and nice restaurants and a good nightlife.
So sweet !
We just got orders for Pensacola. My kids are so excited. 😍
Awesome!!! Great video.
I’m really thinking of moving here someday, I have been twice and it is just an amazing place, the people are nice, beaches are gorgeous, and there is just so much beauty, unlike where I live! Have a nice day y’all
I plan to go to Pensacola. I enjoyed your video! Thank you! Even if I am not good at English, I can understand your English more clearly than others. I love your description!
Can't wait to move back to New Orleans because I can see Pensacola as a home away from home.
My city! Cool to see it here!
Bringing my family from San Antonio thanks for this video this is really help me especially the Maguire's we definitely going there
Love McGuires !!

I'm fucking dead. The editing and camera work is so much better than the commentary. This feels like fever dream.

You eat good. Thanks for showing the delicious food.
My son goes there for Navy air crew training at least twice a year, while there we normally head there from San Diego for a week or more visit. You missed a great place to eat, Cub’s Crawfish. Great Cajun food!
It's funny you ate at the most expensive restaurants in the city ...lol great choices though, I live in Pensacola FL and I love it it's absolutely amazing!!!! This was a great showcase of the area alot better than others I've seen!!!!
It is great to see you traveling again. I really enjoyed your South America trip. You have an excellent on-screen personality and style.

Great video!
CooL👍
You are living the life.
Thanks for the video on Pensacola ! Would have loved to see more of the downtown area instead of focusing mostly on the beach. Pensacola looks like a mid-sized city with lots of low-rise buildings and residential areas. Perhaps due to it being a Navy town with the Air Force and Marines training bases as well.
My happy place! I am there 6 times a year at least. Visit the Naval Museum. Such a fun day! Visit Jo Patti's! Great seafood. Bring a cooler to take some home. Hunt the city for fun murals and the pelicans! Get a bushwacker! Peg Legs has the best in my opinion. But compare theirs to Shakers bushwacker!
With his limited time he left off a loy
Peg Leg’s bushwackers go so hard omg 🤤
Awesome
Man that beach is great! I wish jacksonvilles beach was like this

Never been to Florida although I live in Lousiana. I need to go check it out !!!
I have kinfolks in Pensacola. The last time I was in Pensacola was back in 1982 when I was a teenager with my parents to visit our kinfolks.
We enjoyed Pensacola beach
1st week of August ill be there again love Pensacola. Ill be staying at holiday inn resort. My uncle spent 42 yrs in navy retired in milton ( north of Pensacola) we been going for years there. Taking flags for his and my cousins graves flowers for my aunts.
Milton is east of Pensacola.
@@areyoujelton north east
please keep in mind, if you come here before the end of may the 3 mile bridge is still down so its about 30 minutes to an hour and a half commute from Pensacola to gulf breeze, traffic is horrible every day of the week because of the bridge being down. just a heads up.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed for 3 Mile Bridge completion 5/31/2021🤞🏾.
@@melvinfreeman4040 you can forget about it lol
Thanks for the heads up! We are planning to come next week from California on May 20-25. How is the weather there? Should o be concerns of hurricanes or storms?
@@dollrose3085 generally speaking may is too early for hurricanes, but the season officially starts on June 1st so it's cutting it a little close. within the next week you'll know whether or not one is heading towards the gulf. the only forgiving part about hurricanes is that you always know when one is coming at least a week in advance. as far as weather goes, it's very stereotypical florida. one minute it'll be bright and sunny, the next it will be pouring rain. coming from california i will warn you that the humidity is horrendous. it feels like you're breathing in water and youll start sweating by just stepping outside. other than that it's warm, but shouldn't be blistering in late may. hope you enjoy your stay.
@@dollrose3085 weather's great. It may be a bit rainy, but lows of 80
😍😍😍
very nice
Nice place
Sorry dude. No “H” in Jacos. Restaurant is named after his beloved dog.
God bless everyone 🙏
This was the best tour I’ve seen anybody do of Pensacola and Pensacola beach 🏖 Thank you 😊 I’m planning to drive from California to Pensacola next week. How is the weather there? Should I be concerned of any storms or hurricanes? God bless 🙏🏻 btw...great food and the kayaking looked fun!
Hello, I hope all is well. I don't know if you will ever receive this comment. However I'm a Californian and also wanted to visit Pensacola for the first time. Did you ever take that drive from California to there? God bless you and family🙏🏼💖
Pensacola native here. Weve had 2 direct hits from hurricanes in 20 years and a handful of tropical storms. We get a good amount of rain but most of the time its sunny and warm. I love it here.
Just got home from Pensacola. You forgot to mention the USCG that is stationed in Pensacola. I have a son who lives in the barricks on the Naval Base. We only saw a small portion of Pensacola and wish we'd seen the entire city. Considering moving there soon. It's between Pensacola, Destin and Orange Beach, AL. The Pensacola Bridge was under repair and the delays were insane! Took us forever to cross it.
Also enjoyed two meals at Crabs. The shrimp was very good! Loved a pizza place called Poppa Pizza I think. The Wet pig BBQ was also good.
Stayed at the Hampton Inn, Pensacola Beach. Would NOT recommend. We paid some serious cash to stay here but during a heavy Thunder storm, water came in through the windows and into our AC unit in our room. The management said that was normal during a storm. Total BS! The net was down most
of the time during our stay (a week), one of the elevators stopped running and the beds weren't very comfortable.
For those who love military history, if you have a couple hours to spare, drive up to Mobile and take a tour of the USS Alabama Battle Ship. It was used in both WW2 and Korea. We got up there a couple days ago when it was 94 degrees and humid as hell. Because of all the metal on the ship, it felt like a furnace. But it was really enjoyable to climb up the ladders and see much of the ship. There was also a Sub you could get inside but it was too hot for us.

Texas: Laughs in 6flags
You should have crossed the street...
Red fish blue fish has amazing seafood papas pizza a staple on the beach water pig great BBQ ... This was so limited
Sorry, but the water ping's BBQ was the worst I have ever had. I grew up on the coast, live in Texas now. I know good BBQ and unless maybe it was a bad night, theirs was pretty bad. Red fish blue fish is great! So is Flounders. McGuires is awesome! LARGE portions. Fin and Fork is also very good in Pensacola.
You sound so funny and you are looking beautiful okay!!
There’s also an USAF training detachment as well
So pretty 😍
Grandma closet lol 😂🤣😂
It's weird watching this..... Overall wonderful video! The weird part is your constantly eating, lol, obviously different times of day and or days. Almost like a food channel. :)
Pensacola Beach sand never gets hot under your bare feet even on the hottest and sunniest days. Also when you kick your heel on the sand it barks. I've been going there for 25 years.
How do you explain that the sand never gets hot under your feet even on the hottest days?
@@kazzicup The sand at Pensacola Beach, and other beaches in this area, mineral makeup is quartzite, without many other impurities, which makes the sand white. White objects reflect the sun rays making the sand much cooler than darker sand. Lake Erie which is near my home has shale, which is dark grey or black, in the sand which makes it very hot on sunny days. One has to be careful not to burn your feet.
@@johnryder7531 Thanks.
Te amo Pensacola
Cool guide throughout the city. Definitely going to have to get the fam down that way. We always seem to be on the east coast when we are in Florida. Cool vid, thanks for the tour.
Magnolia trees have a soft fragrance like honeysuckle and citrus combined definitely not like Grandma’s closet 🤦🏻♀️
Can anyone tell me if this would be a great place to live now a days? When you google Pensacola it says it has a much higher crime rate, but all of the videos and reviews I have read say nothing but great and positive things about Pensacola... Thank you in advance to anyone who can answer my question
I live in Pensacola
I can't find the last place you were at to eat on Google maps. Awesome video by the way
Do people need to make reservations ahead of time at restaurants this time of year?
We had a lovely spring this year, mild weather for several weeks. If you come to Pensacola in the warmer months, don't expect it lo look this sparse as far as population. Make your reservations early.
Yeah
Pensacola realtor here 🙂🙋🏽♀️ If anyone is thinking about moving here, I'd love to help you find your home 💗
Aw I work at AWKO, the law firm you stopped in front of near Palafox!
WOW those are clean oceans compared to Los Angeles
What place were you eating at at 16:00?
I'm here I love you always and I miss you ❤️
I'm considering going here next month with my family, but would need to go somewhere where there's a bus system. Is there a decent bus system here?
I was born in Pensacola
I went to A school down there too. I haven't been there since 2005, but I'm planning a road trip there next summer. I'm curious to see if it's changed in that time.
Tell them about the Hurricanes too
Nice. Maybe there's a job in my future in Pensacola, FL?. Hmmm. I have two very loyal cats that love to go outside and follow me around. What kind of environment is Florida for cats? I'm in MN
We still have the 5 flags?
How is parking in late summer at the beaches? I will be there in the 1st week of September during the Blue Angels practice .
Parking is horrific .... if you’re going to see the blues make sure you go early in the morning .. you need the be at the beach by like 8... don’t try to park in the parking lots . Go down to Avienda 16 or 18 go back in the neighborhood and park along the street ... 100yards from the beach front
There’s a spot to see the blues that locals know but I can’t share that. Good luck!
where did you get those crab claws??!!!
