The shots of the velvet dawn and the view from the end of the earth are stunning, and silly Diana is adorable and funny. But the reason why I think you're such an amazing person is not that you can make beautiful videos and vibrate the affection that is felt by anyone who watches your videos. It's because when you see something beautiful and powerful, you let it in with its entirety, overtaking and overwhelming you so you become one with them. That's how I see you: brave and courageous enough to be vulnerable and emotionally connected with everything you experience.
I cannot describe how touched I am. I thought on my way the same: How felt the people centurys before me walking this path, standing here, what was their purpose, what was their struggle? Thank you for sharing your impressions, I have shared some tears with you.
You are an inspirational young woman. I was already planning on doing the caminho Português next June but your videos have given me confidence that I can also do it. I lost my wife of 34 years in 2020 and have been walking in a fog since. My walk goal is to reconnect with my faith and not be angry for losing my wife. I also want to come to terms and accept that my wife is gone and gain the courage that life is worth living. Thank You for you videos . I hope you know they have a positive impact on many people. Best wishes for many walks for you and many adventures in your life
Hello dear, I’m so sorry to hear about your wife. Nobody deserves to die or go through the loss of their loved ones at that age. Thanks for your vulnerability, since you are open to talk about your pain, maybe the next step is to start healing and I wish you all the best! Camino is a special place for people who want to heal, I met an addict who is now 3 months sober, I met someone who also lost a spouse, someone who recovered from a serious injury, etc. Walking is a Theraphy and Camino makes it very special! Take care Diana
I wanted to stop in and say I don t know your true pain, in that I m not here to tell you how to feel. But my heart knows love and I think she would want you to live for her. Take her with you and set out on adventures and have people in your life to help you achieve peace. She 'll never leave you, so let her walk with you. Live an amazing life and know she s very proud of you. Good luck to you.
One of my favorites lines is from an Erykah Badu song and it goes: “The man who knows something, knows that he knows nothing at all.” …That line always hit me hard.
I’m grateful I’ve seen this videos of your Camino de Santiago experience. I just wanted to say that you inspired me a lot, I really love your content-I hope one day I can do it as good as you- Thank you so much Diana for this awesome way of bringing us to travel with you ❤
Diana..What a beautiful energy you are. I love the video and your spirit shines thru. I did sjpdp-santiago 2017 and i found my true self. Being Camino is about being love, compassion, passion for life every new day and be able to take tough decisions. I am going home to the roads again 28th of May. Doing sjpdp to finisterre and muxia and back to santiago and going down to porto. I will never stop walking. Not everyone who wanders are lost. I love walking naked with my soul. Thank you so much again Diana😊
Excellent video! Thank you so much for sharing your personal experience and feelings on your journey. You’re a lovely lady. I truly enjoyed your words of reflection and the photography. Thanks again!
Great to follow your journey Diana, it has been a wonderful couple of weeks leading up to my own departure for the French Camino on the 25th, and in the end doing the Finisterre. Keep up the good work, and continue to be the amazing person that you seem to be! I look forward to follow you onwards on YT. Take care! Best regards 🇩🇰☺️
The Cape of Finisterre, I cried there. But OMG I cried even more as your Camino story (at least the walking part) came to an end. You flooded my heart with memories of the magical experience. Yes it is difficult perhaps impossible to explain why this happens, it just does and it's ok for it to simply be that way. Thank you for making the Camino videos and sharing your wonderful adventure. And thank you, THANK YOU, for helping those wonderful emotions inside me flow once again 💜
I saw this video posted from the very first day, but was postponing watching it cause I wasn't ready to feel all the emotions which I knew you would make me feel! It was amazing watching you from the very beginning and I'm excited for everything that is coming next. Keep up making videos Diana! We Love It! ❤️
Buen Camino, Lori! Thanks for communicating! I was just hiking in Puerto Rico and every time I saw someone coming down I wanted to say buen camino ❤️ it stays with you, I think
Thank for your hardfull video. I walkes the camino portugues twice. In September I will do the camino ingles and than to muxia. That is my spiritual end of every Camino 🙏 I started crying aswel as I saw you 😢. But it is crying in a good way. Good luck for your live and always buen camino! 🫂 René
Beautiful! Touched by your words. I begin my Camino in April! Frances to Leon then Salvador to Oviedo then Primitvo to end of world Finesterre and Muxia!
So incredibly beautiful. I will be hiking this route in March and my heart is overwhelmed with the beauty that was shared in this video. I love how you ended this video and I thank you so much for being vulnerable with us. You're amazing!
What a great video you made there!😍 You´re a natural storyteller. And a touching end with the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Apropos Bach: last week I actually visited the church in Leipzig, where Bach played music for many years and is buried. Else I walked the entire Camino Francés previous summer, my first Camino, and I'm now officially part of the addicted ones, looking for a new fix of Camino walks all the time😂😂🤗
...just discovered your Camino clips, Diana... I love that you think and share so much about how you feel, and whats going on inside of you... the end was so heartwarming - I got reminded of how I felt, when I arrived at Finisterre at the end of my first camino (I've done 2 by now)... and there was a goose-bumpy moment: this very morning I posted a cartoon of Charlie Brown on facebook, where Peggy says to him: 'It takes a long time to understand nothing', which I amended to: '..after long and intense studies I eventually found out, that I don't know nothin'...', - a bit jokingly, but there's that deeper truth behind it... and here you are, with your final thoughts at 'the end of the world', that we humans once knew... I so felt with your tears in that moment... 🥲
👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Diana, I just found this video and it is pure art, pure poetry, pure feelings, I loved it, just to tell you I hope you never change because your heart is enormous, thank you very much for sharing this wonderful experience, no matter where you are I send a big hug from Malaga, Spain, take good care of yourself, humanity needs many people like you.
I did this part of the Camino a couple of years back, your video has all the places that I didn't get photos of or video footage. Thank you for doing such a great video so that it reminds me of the feeling of being on that path again. So many hills! LOL And yes being alone on the trail does make one go a bit crazy and sing out loud and trying to entertain the brain.
you made me cry.....and you are right we know nothing.....but GOD knows everything.....there is so much more to learn in this journey of life. Keep making a Camino
I think you are an amazing human being Diana. This video is just magical, beautiful and emotional. Thank you very much. Looking forward to watching you on your next Camino, because I'm sure you will be back!😁
Beautiful video. Beautiful words & history. Thanks a lot you´ve motivated me and my wife to do the Camino. In some moment we got a doubth, cause some peolpe including relatives told us is no necesry walk along the Camino but visit Rome and Paris. Obviously is important to visit Rome or Paris or London. But sure you´ve motivated my family to face with entusiasm teh Camino. Greetings from Mexico. God Bless you.
Diana, the Camino is TOTALLY addicting. We are planning our 4th Camino for this September and can’t wait. The peace and quiet, the camaraderie, the true presence, the beauty! I am so happy for you. Your spirit is so light and beguiling. Buen Camino, sister pilgrim!
Diana, my husband of 37 years and I, will walk the French way again from St. Jean Pied de Port to Santiago. We completed that one in 2018, did the Primitivo in 2019 and did the Way of St. Francis from Florence to Rome in 2021. We are feeling the pull to return to Spain, but definitely want to do the Portuguese way too. Hopefully we can next Spring and we will do your route. Can’t wait. I am so glad you had such a powerful reaction and experience on the Camino. It truly has been a gift in my life, and it’s a blessing that keeps growing stronger. I too, just need to walk. And there is no better way to “see” a country than by walking it. And to know that you are following in the footsteps of millions of pilgrims having gone before you is insane and very spiritual and moving. Hope it’s in your blood and you’ll walk many other Caminos throughout your life! God bless you!
@@hvannorstrand I agree with what you’re saying 100%! Would you recommend St. Francis way? I have met someone who did that Camino and it sounded amazing.
@@dianawanderlust we will walk the Camino francais again from SJPP to Fisterra, and then the Podiensis from Le Puy en Valle in France in September of 2023, God willing! Then the Portuguese, then the Via de la Plata, then……..LOL. We Love walking and reflecting and experiencing the pilgrimage life so much!
You catch somekind amazing of idea of the Camino. I hope you have more videos like this. I did 5 Caminos las twelve years. Till St. Jean Pied de Port to Santiago I did one till Finisterre, this i Turned my page. Camino changed my point of view againts the life. Thank you for your video. Also Buen Camino in your life.
Diana, Diana, Diana! This is wonderful. I’m researching this segment of the trek now and you’ve pretty much sealed the deal for me. Thanks for sharing your adventure. X
Hi Diana, just watched your series on the Camino, and can I say how wonderful it was, beautifully put together, and I love your sense of humour and adventure.and you made me chuckle a lot, especially the one about cutting the f#c#ing tree down…😂😂😂.well done girl.
beautiful video, great narration, love the ending. If you ever walk a camino again, try to make it to Muxia. Made me cry, feeling lost in space and time, yet gave me a sense of the endlessnes of the universe, and the power of nature. thanks for sharing.
Hola Diana!!! I am enjoying this part of your Camino sooooo much!!!!🥰. Especially when you are being silly…making funny, cute faces😍🤣obviously enjoying every moment of this part of your journey! I love your insight😘. When my daughter Angie and I arrived in Santiago, we decided to take a Tour Bus to Finisterre. It was wonderful! Next time we will walk there!!!😊🤣😍. Felicidades niña hermosa 🤗🤗🥰💖💖🙏🏼
I loved all your Camino videos, specially this one. Wanted to give you a hug in those emotional moments 🥹. Let us know when you go back to the Camino 😁
Thank you for sharing this. I've watched it several times, and each time something else pops out as if I'm reawakening. Things that I experienced on my Caminio, but have had to put away as they don't fit in with what is expected in our "normal" society, are coming forward into my conscience mind again. Thanks for that. A part of a poem from Fernando Pessoa (Portuguese Poet) comes to mind as I watch: "Tudo vale a pena Se a alma não é pequena" (everything has worth If the spirit/soul is not small)
I told you it would be amazing and wonderful! Our day three was a long grey day but very atmospheric. Then on day four to come out of the woods and see the ocean.,...magic. The sea was cold but my swimming costume was the only item in my backpack I had not worn, so into the clear blue water I went.... I am surprised you walked so much alone, we saw regularly other pilgrims but not compared to the last week to Santiago. The bus ride back to Porto is also a nice surprise: loved it.
I don’t know why there weren’t too many people on the road, everyone seemed surprised about that. Previous few days were raining really heavily and maybe people had to cancel their plans. Thanks Iris 🥰🥰
Love this! I'm planning to do my second Camino in a couple of months, so was great to see your whole journey (I watched all the videos 🥰). I did Camino Del Norte the first time and will now do Camino Frances. And I remember all the emotions of getting to Fisterra, mind blowing 🙈❤️
I snore and am aware of it. I try to fall asleep on my stomach and choose the furthest bed. Lovely video - the Camino saved my life Apologies to all from the snorers on the Camino
Hola Diana!
I really like the Camino Finisterre. It definitely has a relaxing vibe, especially if you ever do it after walking the Frances during a peak month. I guess I'm one of those "Camino addicts". I just walked my 7th one this past September-October when I walked a portion of the Frances from Pamplona to Santiago. I have over 3000 Camino miles on my legs and feet. I gotta admit, watching your videos made me a bit emotional about the Camino and longing to be on it again. and yes....snoring in albergues sucks (sometimes I fear I have done it before 😬). For those who it may keep awake, bring some good earplugs. Well worth it.
@@dianawanderlust For the vibe and community/friendships etc I would say the Frances, and for me especially the stretch from about Pamplona to Burgos. For the scenery I liked the Camino Portugues central route, all the way into Finisterre after a rest day or two in Santiago.
@@dianawanderlust You will like the Frances. I'm no introvert on the Camino but it definitely can get overly crowded at times, but if you time it right you can dodge a good percentage of the crowds and of course having an open mind and relaxed nature helps. Even the couple of times I walked it when it was more crowded I still enjoyed it and met many cool people and made friends I still have contact with.
During your last video I was wondering if you were going to tackle the Camino de Finisterre... and here you are! Once again, great job cobbling it all together and providing us a glimpse of your insight. Friends who have done both the French and Portuguese ways are planning to do the Del Norte in September. I can see how folk are drawn back again and again. Cheers!
Thank you Diana for sharing your journey with us! Your personality is beautiful inside out, it was a true pleasure to hear your absorptions. Would it be possible for you to share the technical (equipment, workflow) side of you creating your videos? Would highly appreciate it! Greetings!
Hi Diana, I love your videos. I just saw this one with the sunset in Finisterre, when was it? 20-05-2022? If yes, we saw the same sunset, I was also there finishing my first camino (French from SJPP).
beautiful sunrise and full moon very special. I wonder how the pilgrim pulled up the next day after walking so far in one day? What an emotional ending for you. beautiful sunset. Will you go on to Muxia?

Haha. I just love to challenge myself once in a while. Thanks for sharing Diana. Great videos👌😊💪 Good job!👍
The Camino was a life changing event for me. I sold my home in Texas and moved to Spain.
Oh my god! Where in Spain?
@@dianawanderlust Tarragona province. Off grid
Great journey
I like your thought’s, I had the same!
Thank you for sharing this. I've watched it several times, and each time something else pops out as if I'm reawakening. Things that I experienced on my Caminio, but have had to put away as they don't fit in with what is expected in our "normal" society, are coming forward into my conscience mind again. Thanks for that.
A part of a poem from Fernando Pessoa (Portuguese Poet) comes to mind as I watch:
"Tudo vale a pena
Se a alma não é pequena"
(everything has worth
If the spirit/soul is not small)
Ong Dean! Thanks for this comment 😍😍 beautiful poem
You are a beatiful poet
You are funny :D Have a good next caminos ;) next week im going Ourense - > Fisterra
Buon Camino
In august i will go from porto to santiago, I can not wait
Good luck and thanks for calling my vlogs Movies 🥰
Keep on walking, not sure if you have ever been to Nepal before but if you haven’t I recommend it, it’s a beautiful place to go walking 🙏 peace
Love this! I'm planning to do my second Camino in a couple of months, so was great to see your whole journey (I watched all the videos 🥰). I did Camino Del Norte the first time and will now do Camino Frances. And I remember all the emotions of getting to Fisterra, mind blowing 🙈❤️
Thanks for watching David and Buen Camino! I know you will love it again 😊😊
Such a beautiful walk. How you manage to do it on your own I'll never know. But you have the power and perception.
Peggy ❤️🤍
I snore and am aware of it. I try to fall asleep on my stomach and choose the furthest bed. Lovely video - the Camino saved my life
Apologies to all from the snorers on the Camino
Aww you are so sweet 🥹 thanks for watching
Wow 3000 miles?? Which is your favorite Camino?
I have to admit, Wax earplugs got my ear infected. I had to see the doctor 🥲
@@dianawanderlust For the vibe and community/friendships etc I would say the Frances, and for me especially the stretch from about Pamplona to Burgos. For the scenery I liked the Camino Portugues central route, all the way into Finisterre after a rest day or two in Santiago.
@@HillTrekkerSarge 😍 I’m thinking about doing the Frances at some point
@@dianawanderlust You will like the Frances. I'm no introvert on the Camino but it definitely can get overly crowded at times, but if you time it right you can dodge a good percentage of the crowds and of course having an open mind and relaxed nature helps. Even the couple of times I walked it when it was more crowded I still enjoyed it and met many cool people and made friends I still have contact with.
@@HillTrekkerSarge thanks a lot! I enjoyed both full and empty Camino. Both have its own different characters
Greetings!
Hey! I’m using my phone, a tripod and a microphone. I’m editing the videos in Premiere Pro or Premier rush
@@dianawanderlust really?! You have great skills, no doubt! Looking forward seeing more of your experiences :)
Which phone brand do you hace ? Its amazong how good It looks the cuality! Im starting my camino the day after Tomorrow!!!
We also have in the US our the end of the world in Montauk :))
Great as always but the monologue at the end was very emotional. 👏
🥰🥰🥰 thanks for watching again
omg - love this on❤

Hi Diana, I love your videos. I just saw this one with the sunset in Finisterre, when was it? 20-05-2022? If yes, we saw the same sunset, I was also there finishing my first camino (French from SJPP).
I’m not 100% sure when I finished my camino, to be honest ❤️ you came from a long way
beautiful sunrise and full moon very special. I wonder how the pilgrim pulled up the next day after walking so far in one day? What an emotional ending for you. beautiful sunset. Will you go on to Muxia?
The pilgrim was just fine 😂😂 I forgot to mention he also had his laptop with him 😂😂 Unfortunately I didn’t have time to go to Muxia. Next time
You are truly a gem
glad that you are going to complete the circuit 😍
Possibly you will return to Santiago, possibly the magic of the camino will call you again. Buen camino.
Hopefully i will return 😍 Buen Camino
The end of the camino waits For everyone and give for us the awnsers of inmortality
I can’t believe how wise you are for you age !
You’re spoiling me with these amazing comments 🥹

All put together nicely. Well done. What is a good small drone that one can travel with?
I have DJI mini 2 and it’s only 250 grams
What drone are you using?
nice thoughts on that last part of the video. starting from minutes 15. yeay!
Thanks
@@dianawanderlust nice to know your channel, Your videos complement my preparation. im preparing my 1st camino on sept 2024. im from Indonesia. i will be doing camino de ingles. wish me luck!
About figuring out where the north is: Moss is growing on north sides of the brunch, so, do not cut the tree, just walk around it :D
Haha, good to know! there are so many easy ways to figure that out right 😂😂😂
