Honestly, I was going to narrate the last part of the video. It was too emotional to speak so I decided to just type some things I wanted to say. Thanks all for your kind comments, you’re priceless!
It's natural that you feel emptiness after completing the Camino. Yet you made something magical from it and shared that with all of us. My heart feels full right up to the top. Thank you.
Whenever it feels cold and grey, I end up watching your videos and it feels like a warm soft sunlight. The way you tell a story makes me feel like, I am right there experiencing life just as you. From the intro in the beginning of this video where you make a crown of flowers - to the wholesome montage of you walking and showing the remaining distance alternatively is so poetic. Thank you, for making these videos and showing us the world from your eyes 💫
Oh, I know this feeling of emptimess after having a great time. Then try to be thankful that it happened and plan the next event. My trip will start in September following your footsteps and your good spirit. Thanks for sharing.
You did it! You did a hard and beautiful thing. The Camino will live on inside your heart forever and it will always be there when you need to go back. Feel all of your feelings. Your Camino never ends because it has shown you the good inside of yourself and in others. You are the Camino now!
Diana, you are a phenomenal girl! ❤️ Thank you for sharing your Camino trip! I was following you everywhere you go, as if I myself was a part of it. Thank you for sharing your emotions, they were so sincere! ❤️ The end was so sad, I cried together with you, because you made me experience everything you felt. ❤️ Thank you again and consider me as one of your biggest fans! Best of luck, sweet girl! ❤️
This is my favorite video! I slept in Hórreos. That emotions when you arrive in Santiago and meet your compañeros is priceless. I never saw Santiago empty. Omg!!! I love when is full of happy people, life, sunshine. But I'm sure you will back some day 😁
Thank you for this beatiful video Diana!! It's curious how many people feel kinda empty after finishing the Camino. I did too. But I would tell you to give yourself some time and you will start to be full of joy (and a happy but nostalgic feeling I can't really explain) when you process everthing that you have experienced. You may even feel the "need" to be back on the Camino! I also think you can experience all the things the Camino offers anywhere in the world and in any situation, but that's actually what I learned on my first Camino itself! Sorry for the long comment, I'm just feeling nostalgic right now 😄
I think the feeling of emptiness is because you feel enlightened --its a very peaceful feeling. For spiritual and religious people this is the feeling of being touch by the Holy Spirit.
I try to experience in my daily life, but the Camino have something special. We are truly authentic there. We can be ourself, without any mask. In our daily life is not so easy. The society don't accept your true self. But at least we know it can be true that kind of life.
The feeling of emptiness is the work of the Holy Spirit. You are touched by God. You are enlightened and the feeling is so light, calm and very peaceful.
Thank you for sharing your truest emotions❤️ I’ve felt you every step of the way..This has been amazing to watch and I’m sure you will reflect back on this in your future adventures ❤️
I was so happy to see your new video up today but then sad to see it was the end. What a beautiful girl you are and I loved your flower crown you made. So special. Your journey was very inspiring and encouraging for me to watch. I understand your feelings at the end. The empty streets were in sympathy for you. Thankyou for sharing your thoughts and feelings and journey with us all. xx
Another great video, your editing is great. I loved the flowers. Got too admit I was close to tears at the end of the video! Take care and stay safe x 🇬🇧
This was such a beautiful and emotional video! I think the fact that you didnt narrate the ending left an even more powerful impact on me because I could feel the silence so strong as a contrast. I love how you show the faces of the people you met, I could see the connections you formed with people, nature and yourself so beautifully portrayed in this video, made ME emotional in fact!!!! So happy to see your growth through this not so easy but worth it journey! 👏 PS, did you have drone shots? How did you film the aerial shots?
I carried the drone with me the whole time which was very unnecessary haha. Thanks darling such a beautiful comment, I really appreciate you putting all this effort in watching my videos. Can’t wait to reconnect with you again

I’m so thankful for stumbling upon your vlog, particularly your Camino videos. The footage is absolutely breathtaking, but what resonates with me most are your storytelling and profound reflections of your experiences. These truly reflect the beautiful spirit within you. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for generously sharing these precious moments and experiences with all of us. 🙏🏼 My partner and I are in the midst of planning our own Camino journey and your channel have served as a source of inspiration for us. I’m also thinking of capturing some video memories for our keepsake, but I’m not particularly tech-savvy. I’d greatly appreciate if you could recommend a suitable camera for this purpose, your guidance would mean a lot to me. Wishing you endless blessings always!
Thank You for sharing your adventure... and your honesty. Friends who have done the Camino have all taken away something different from it... the only commonality has been the gratitude of doing it. A friend reflected on the "weird emptiness" as the expectation that never arrived... and finally concluded that like life, it is all about the journey and not the destination. Again, your editing has been superb... you certainly captured a sense of place and time while still allowing for the wonder of the randomness you encountered... yet all in all, you still kept it intimate and personal. Again... thank you for sharing and Cheers!
Well done! You really covered some ground in that short time. The flower garland was so beautiful! It is hard to explain the emotion. I was in the Cathedral for the pilgrim mass and it was standing room only and a young man offered me his seat, it was next to a Nun that was singing beautifully to the mass on her own, another lady then offered me her asile seat so that I could see better. Such consideration. Well, then the emotions came on full blast! So much kindness in the world of man, if we would just let it out, imagine what kind of world this would be! I don't know what it is about the Caminio but there is a bit of magic there, maybe all the years of positive energy permeates the way and one can't help but feel it and absorb some of it. Thanks for sharing your experience and your honesty, things you said that are part of the experience but generally not relayed in a video, made me laugh. :) I did the my Caminio in the autumn. You got the benefit of all the flowers, I got the benefit of the harvest season and the fall colours. I was eating wild blackberrys, apples, some grapes, almonds, etc all long the way and local harvest festivals where always festive. So you will have to go back again! Thanks again, and congratulations on your accomplishment, it is something that has always remained a special part of my life's journey, and I'm sure it will stay a special part of yours. Buen Caminio.
Omg thanks for this comment! I also went on a mass, I got there 30 minutes earlier to have a seat. I asked the lady next to me to keep the seat for me while I was exploring the cathedral, I was out there walking for 25 minutes and when I got back she said goodbye and left. So basically she wanted to leave sooner but set there for me to keep my seat occupied. I felt honored and a bit embarrassed too. The mass was very emotional too, again - I am not catholic and neither religious but you really don’t have to be to experience the magic.
