The Damage in Asheville NC was absolutely bonkers. I've been without power since Thursday night (it's Monday Morning at the time of writing this) and estimations are Friday so far before we get power back, but all in all we've been super lucky compared to others I know
I live on the opposite side of 40 on the TN side and thankfully all my family is okay but I hear daily about the number of people still missing or houses damaged. Still battling on this side with dams and rivers still rising but hoping all will get better soon.

I’m very excited to see how furnishing the house would be. Did you guys research the tech stuff before talking with contractors, or were they introduced to you? I was surprised about details like speakers in multiple locations, specific rooms with floor-heating, the window-shower and the many showerheads, etc. I think the mailbox drop-off location is so interesting, too. I don’t know what it’s like to live in a place where I assume you’d have to drive a long way to even see a grocery store, so I’m curious if you have Instacart delivery haha

Hearing the ambient sounds of nature in the background of your videos is somehow relaxing and nostalgic reminding me of when I would play outside at dusk when I was a kid
