    If you are lazy and want some quick single time scallion oil, going with a pan bottom full of oil and just put one single scallion thinly cut in, and low temp cook it until the deep green part gets all shrinky, you'll still get a decent oil that can be used on some noodles or even ramen. This is my go to fast and enjoyable meal when i'm at work.

    This is just what I've been looking for. I've recently started having bad stomach problems and have had to give up spicy food. I just made a great batch of hot chili oil a few weeks ago, and I can't use it anymore!!
    So, this oil will take its place when I make homemade dumplings or ramen. Thank you!

Go Chef, you are helping the world come together with food by sharing your knowledge. It sets an example to always teach those who don't know and to feed those who have no food. now! go eat noodles!

    • @willengel2458

      it will last a long time. it is often people contaminated the oil/chili oil with food particles from fork or spoon that caused it to spoil.

    我们廣東粤菜廚師煉葱油不加/\角香葉,因粤菜海鮮潑上葱油主要取葱油香加強魚的鮮味,下了八角香葉就奪味了。

      You'll have to use an unflavoured oil :) Olive oil wont be good for this recipe unfortunately as it already has quite a standalone flavour itself

    • @Tom-oz7iy
      @Tom-oz7iy 2 роки тому

      I think he uses soybean oil because it is flavorless as well as a thinner oil. Since this is a finishing oil you don't want it to be heavy.
