The carrots and small pillow are adorable! I love how you used pipe cleaner wires for the middle of the stems on the carrots! Thank you so much for this free patterns. I always enjoy your tutorials! Thanks!
I just got my kits and put together one set for my daughter and granddaughter for Easter...I used the remnants to make baby carrots..I also added some rustic ribbon. Thanks Jen and everyone at Shabby Fabrics for such fun kits!!
Thank you sew much for the beautiful free pattern for this fun and sweet project. You are so kind and generous. Loved the video too. Cant wait to make , love the laundry basket quilts fabric too.
Aké jednoduché mrkvičky 👍 ❤️ akurát som si vyšila obrázok so zajačikmi mrkvičky budú k tomu originálne 👏 ďakujem veľmi pekne za inšpiráciu 😘 pozdravujem zo Slovenska 🇸🇰🤗
Very cute. I watched a video on making fabric Easter eggs, the carrots and eggs would be cute in a fabric basket made like a bowl cozie with a handle added. Just came up with my next project. Haha
Thank thou for your darling tutorial! Your teaching style is so easy to follow! I'll be heading into town to pick up pipe cleaners, hurry home and make up these cities! 🥕🥕🥕
Those are so cute! I thought about spraying the stems with water & putting them in the dryer. The dryer balls could then rough up the edges. I have 3 different blades myself. One is the pinked edge & I think the other 2 are just different wavy blades. I guess any of them could work & you'd have a variety of edges. I like your roughed-up/frayed ones the best 😊
Upholstery thread would work great too, for tying the carrot up. I used it when I used to make hairbows with ribbon. The thread is very strong and you can pull it hard, without worrying about it breaking.
I love this! And thanks for demostrating the pinking blade. I was wondering if they would actually work. Now I can buy one. Can't wait to do this project! 😃
Love this project and as always, your video was great! If a strong thread was put between the layers of "carrot" fabric when they were placed right side together and before it was sewn, could you pull the carrot point out sharply once it was turned right side out? (I hope this makes sense.) Love the pinked edge the best. Thanks again!
We're happy you enjoy this fun project! To answer your query, we do think that it sounds like it might work if the right "strong thread" was used. We suggest that you test this out on scrap fabric before attempting it with the kit fabric, if you have that. Hope this helps! 💖 -Michelle
I was wondering what the measuring /cutting tool you’re using? Keeps a straight edge. I’m new and learn about what I need and I liked that. Thank you!!

I think there's a mistake in the leaf part of the carrots directions. It says put RIHT sides together and sew each side seam, shouldn't it be WRONG sides together because you are inserting the pipe cleaner in the next step? And there is nothing about turning back right sides out, which you wouldn't do anyway because you are using the rough edges. Just wondered...
Jen Sweetie, Thank U For Sharing! Those Are Amazing! 😊 Pray That Y'all Have A Very Blessed & Prosperous Day & Week 😇 ✝️ 😇

Also you can sew a thread into the end and use that to pull out the tip and then trim the thread
Love that suggestion! Thanks so much for sharing. -Michelle
Thank you for the free pattern. FYI the written instructions say put the green fabric right sides together.
Thanks for catching that! We're working on correcting it now. We're happy you enjoy this project! 💖 -Michelle

I’d sew a string into the point. Thatbwas when it’s turned inside out you’d tug on the string, and the point comes straight out. Clip off string.
Great idea! Thanks so much for watching! -Michelle
I can't seem to find the download. The patterns you have made are adorable

Pinking sheers?
Yes, those would work if you don't have a pinking blade. Thanks for watching!! 💖 -Michelle
You could rip the strips of fabric.
