Natasha once again you rock girl!
Nice
I just want to tell you what an inspiration you have been to me. These past months have been difficult and I was looking for something to help take my mind off everything. I discovered junk journals! I have watched all of your content and have made two journals. Making and writing has helped me. You were part of that and I want to express my thanks.
Thank you so much Darla!! It has been so difficult for me too, and this crafty world makes everything better!!
I love these lace flowers.
I like to make these with strips of torn fabric, ie: coffee stained muslin. 😊
Ooh good idea!
Hi Debby Long,
Thanks for the recycling inspiration. That's an awesome idea.
Ooh I have to try it!! I have some torn, coffee stained muslin waiting to be turned into a project!!
@@TreasureBooks you can make puffier flowers with your torn strips also....fold your strip lengthwise, and do your running stitches along the torn sides, both sides being sewn together as if one layer. Then your outer edges are folded over and make a puffy finish, and when gathered the bead or pearl in the centre hides the ripped edges.
Or you can fold in half and do your running stitches along the folded edge, so your outer edges are shabby and double layered!
After folding your fabric lengthwise, whichever side you choose to sew along, you can snip along the outer edges first, it'll create fringing if you cut the torn edges, or create loopy fringing if you cut along the folded edge. This way you can make four different looking end flower styles, from 4 identical strips you started with!
Hope that makes sense! 😘😘😘
EDIT*** once formed, the snipped into flowers look extra shabby if you scuff at them lightly with a nail brush or similar bristle brush. 😁
TFS, Natasha! I appreciate the printed instructions. I keep them in an old fashioned scrapbook along with the name of your tutorial. You are a born instructor!
Thank you so much Gladys!!
Oh my goodness, my grandmother use to make these long ago. Thanks for reminding me of good times past. Forgot all about them, tfs! :)
I know, so many projects to be done, so many we ourselves have done in the past and completely forgotten about !
Your tutorials are excellent. I love the written "recipe" with instructions.
Thanks so much 😊
Very pretty. I used to make those all the time. So easy..
The red ones would make a beautiful ❤️ shaped writhe for Valentine’s Day
Just gorgeous as you are
Thank you again for sharing
Thank you so much! What a great idea to make them into heart shapes :)
I have a lot of lace just sitting there -now I have a way to use it. Thanks so much!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching :)
I was just watching your shabby bow tutorial and then this one, and I was thinking if you combine the two techniques you could put the circle at the bottom, the bow at the top and get that perfect circle you were originally aiming for! Can’t wait to try this idea out!
It’s handy to have the instructions especially if you have a short term memory problem. I love the lacy flowers they look so beautiful and when applied to other projects will look amazing. Thank you for sharing.
I have just discovered junk journals and your videos are very informative. I will be watching many more. Thank you for the detailed instructions.
Thank you so much Donna!
My craft room looks the same organized messy. Thank you Natasha for sharing with us.
Thank you for teaching.this! I made some of the other flowers you taught. I can't wait to make these when my shoulder heals! Did you know that you have been in the hospital with me? Ha! Ha! Excellent company! You've been the best company/ medicine!! Hugs.

Hello Natasha, Gorgeous Lace Flowers 😍😍 Thank You for sharing, Hugs and Blessings 😘😘🌺🌻🌸🌼
A craft room that actually looks like a craft room! I watch craft room tour videos a lot (I’m trying to get mine in order) and they ALL are clean, neat, organized and look like they’re never used. I love yours, it looks like mine...🤣. Always enjoy your videos, thank you for sharing! Cheers from Las Vegas
Hehe thank you so much. I never did a proper craft room tour because I would have to tidy it up and organize it first :)
Thanks.! I enjoy your videos. I am the great spectator. Lol I love watching. You are so easily paced. The notes really add a special touch.
Thank you so very much!!!

How beautiful these little, lacy flowers are. I just acquired a lot of lace from a garage sale last year and didnt know why I needed a whole bag of different laces. Now I will be able to figure what to do with some of it. Thank you for sharing.
Heheh, why do I need this? I just do. That's pretty much me at every garage sale and thrift store :)
Thank you so much for this lovely tutorial Natasha. I think I know what I will be doing while watching during movie night tonight! Thanks again for sharing, be well sweetie!! xx
Movie night! Yaaay my favourite. I hope you enjoy making some :)
Hi Natasa ❤️
Beautiful embellishment. These lace flowers are adorable. I love them stacked.
And, just to think outside the box, they'd also decorate boxes and bags very well too. I often run out of those purchased bows during the holiday season. 😁
Thanks for the inspiration.
Yes definitely, that's a great idea!
Love the flowers. My space is messy too, 😆😅😇🤗 blessings.
I was watching this and had some thread and variegated sari ribbon next to me so made a few. They're very pretty and soft. The raw edges are no problem. They may end up in some slow stitch projects ❤
Love it!! Love that you dove right into the project with bits and pieces at hand :)
So dainty and beautiful!!! Great way to use up the ribbon type lace that some gifts are wrapped in.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful project. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for watching :)

Thank you so much Sandy!
i love how you do that little bit after you video. It’s like watching the extra after the credits in a movie. these flowers are gorgeous
Thank you so much 😀
absolutely agree with Laurel.
Natasha, these are beautiful. I used to make flowers like these for baby head bands. I have terrible carpul tunnel in my hands and I have a hard time making knots in my thread. I thought I’d share a little hack for anyone else who might have the same problem. I take however amount of thread I need, and double it. I take both of the ends and thread them both thru the needle. I start my first stitch from the bottom and when I come to the end of my thread, I just run my thread thru the loop at the end. This actually does 2 things, it starts your flower just like you did but it also keeps the thread from maybe coming back thru I case you didn’t make the knot big enough. I hope this makes sense and matey helps someone else with hand problems.
Thank you so much for all of your wonderful ideas.
I'll have to try this, thank you for sharing your tip!!
Thank you so much! Your video was very clear and helpful!
Love Love Love ❤️

As always, a wonderful tutorial. I didn’t even make it through the video before I was rummaging through my lace stash (disappointed that I could not find your specific type) and made several before finishing the video.

Thank you so much!
Nataca, these are so beautiful and SO variable! I had chosen the delicate gold lace flowers as my favorite, then I saw the minty green ones, but then all the tiny ones were so cute! ...it's very hard indeed to choose. I want to thank you again, as I see others have, for writing out the instructions for us. As far as I'm aware you are the only instructor who does this. With love from the Southern California desert, MK ♥️🌞🌵. P.S., Your craft room is great! Thanks for sharing. In fact, I think it may be the tidiest I've seen!
Thank you so much for watching (and right to the end too!!!) Thank you. I actually forgot to show but I made a whole heap of the small white ones! A bag full :)
@@TreasureBooks I just dug out some lace and off I go to the flower fields. 😁 🌼🌺🌻 😁 Thanks again. 🤗 MK
I love your vídeos, because Its to do step by step! Its so easy...
Happy to hear that! Thank you :)
Natasa, these are so sweet and I now know what to do with those gathered laces and buttons with shanks. You have some very pretty laces. Thank you for another great vid.
To be honest, I had those laces for YEARS and never knew what I could possibly do with them!! Thank you so much for watching and commenting :)
Love these!! I have lots of lace. I’ll definitely be making some. Super directions thank you!!
I used to make these for my girls hair bows, but I sewed the ends together and sewed the center decoration on as well, then sewed on the locking Barrett’s. That made them washable. I love the lace choices you made, they are beautiful.
These are absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful flowers! I love these! Thank you so much for sharing! 🤗❤️🤗
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching :)
Absolutely gorgeous
Thank you 😊
I am in love!! This has to be my favorite of your tutorials. I know I will be spending many, many hours doing doing these. Thank you for sharing your pretties!
Lovely flowers & thanx for a little nosy round your craft room!
Glad you liked it!! Thanks for watching right to the end too!
Cute! Cute! Cute!....I have a lot of ribbon I got at the thrift shops...thank you for sharing.....😻
Thank you! 😊
Wow, beautiful, thank you!
The flowers are beautiful. It's funny, because when I find gathered lace at a thrift store, I usually take the gathers out so that I can use it flat in a book. I won't be doing that anymore!!! LOL
Thank you Rhonda. Its funny you say that, because I only discovered a few days ago that I could actually take the gathers out!!!
@@TreasureBooks lol
I can’t wait to make these. They are very pretty!
Such beautiful flowers! I have had some of the difficulties making lace flowers that you showed and now I can be a lot more successful completing them. Thank you! Excellent tutorial!

So pretty. I've been looking for how to make these. Thanks. Waving from Florida🖐
Thank you Lily, waving right back!
Love these flowers and your written instructions are a blessing. I adored you showing us your organised chaos as now I dont feel so abnormal and can show hubby that it really is a crafters trait. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hehe definitely a crafters trait. Not our fault!!
Beautiful flowers! Love all of them!
Thanks so much 😊
I absolutely love watching and listening to your tutorials and you are a fantastic teacher! Thanks so very much 😉💐
Thank you so much :) I really appreciate that !
I barely finished watching you when I had to go try making one. My lace was much mote gathered onto the binding so it turned out very thick. I also tried eyelet trim which was okay but not great. I think it is too stiff. My favorite of yours is the vintage ivory colored ones. So beautiful
