well it will fade out more and more. i already only use half of them and less and less people will get the references. Only the top ones will live on. I dont think people form the 2010+ will watch clueless or Parent trap etc.
Other honorable mentions "Hasta La Vista, Baby" - "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" (1991) "Now, This is Podracing" - "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" (1999) "It's Not a Tumor" - "Kindergarten Cop" (1990) "Somebody Stop Me!" - "The Mask" (1994) "Now, That's What I Call High-Quality H20" - "The Waterboy" (1998) "I Like it a Lot" - "Dumb and Dumber" (1994) The Sanderson Sisters - "Hocus Pocus" (1993)
RIP Bernard Hill, who famously played Captain Smith in Titanic(along with roles in The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, The Scorpion King and tv's Boys From The Blackstuff).
I didn't get to grow up with these movies, but FYI, the kids' movies on this list, I've watched them and adored them! Especially Home Alone, The Lion King, and Parent Trap, to name my top 3 favs😁❤️
I loved the Parent Trap growing up! My favorite scene is when the twins move Meredith's air mattress out of the tent and put it on the lake. The scene following it is just as hilarious because the dad's reaction to her meltdown is perfect since she doesn't get what she wants!
Fun fact: Mara was so nervous to do the telekinesis practicing dance while filming that Danny DeVito had the entire crew dance with her to make her less nervous I love that man so much
My 8th grade English class had to watch Home Alone and when Kevin screamed everyone laughed, even the teacher and she was the toughest teacher at the school 😅
Yep. I'm a 90's kid lol. Although for me instead of the chocolates, whenever I talk about cooking shrimp I can't help but start listing all of Bubba's shrimp options rofl.
Apparently after our daughter was born, while I was sleeping my bf did the simba thing to our daughter 😂😂😂. I feel like your not a true 90s kid if you never tried to simba a cat, puppy, or newborn baby 😂😂
"Welcome To My Nightmare" Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers The Movie (1995) man that line was so Iconic that It's outlasted the Power Rangers Movie and was used In Super Power Beatdown when Tommy fought Ryu from Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat's Scorpion they're on UA-cam check them out for yourself
Jurassic Park is one of my all-time favorites. whatever I've seen the movie, on DVD, well the jello scene is classic The second is The Sandlot. You're Killin' Me Smalls is a classic catchphrase, it's one of my favorites. but no one talked about The Baby-Sitters Club The Movie
Not to nitpick, but "I'm king of the world" dates at least as far back as "White Heat" (1949). The wording might be off slightly, but people have been quoting it the same way decades before "Titanic".
Fun Fact: Mara Wilson was nervous about dancing in Matilda so Danny DeVito said to her that the reason why she’s nervous is because she’s the only one dancing so he made everyone else dance the only person who didn’t dance was the guy holding the camera
I always thought it was neat that Alicia Silverstone didn't know the correct pronunciation of the word "Haitians", with director Amy Heckerling telling everyone not to correct her, as it fitted Cher's lovably ditzy nature.
My niece was born in '95 so I guess she's technically a '90's kid, but I doubt she'd consider herself one but she (and by extension I) watched the first Lion King movie more times than I can remember. I was born in '81 so I miss the cutoff by a fewyears. I don't think I'm a '90's kid, being born in '81 but I knew all the references, saw most of the movies in the theater.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the fact that Emily indent even made a reference to I see dead people in the Halloween episode of Hannah Montana when mentioning how popular that quote from sixth sense was
I see Dead people is memorable to Anyone who saw The Sixth Sense or vaguely aware of cultural memes. I am a 1960’s kid and thoroughly member it. Same thing with Clueless quotes. Toy Story was NOT just for kids.
"My Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." - Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) "Life is a box of chocolates, Forest. You never know what you’re gonna get." - Mrs. Gump (Sally Field), Forrest Gump (1994)
Unpopular opinion but I hate the sandlot. But only because I had friend in Jr high who only ever wanted to watch every late start Monday. For the entire school year. On a brighter note what 90s kid didn't hold there cat\small dog up like Simba?

"Run, Forrest, Run!" Whenever I go on a jog near my area, many a passerby yells this in my direction, just to be funny! 😅

The ‘90s is still part of my childhood.
😁

Thank you for the update, MsMojo..!! 11:09 I thought that monologue was based on the real TV ad. I looked for it, and found it was not. 🥶
90s movies were awesome 🤩
I’m born in 2006 and theses are iconic for me as well
I loved that The Sixth Sense used the color red any time a ghost is present
“I’m the king of the world!”
“Show me the money!”
Two famous lines from two Oscar-winning movies.
😏👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I can relate to many of these but I’m not a 90s kid, I’m the mother of 90s kids and watched many of these movies with them
My 8th grade English class had to watch Home Alone and when Kevin screamed everyone laughed, even the teacher and she was the toughest teacher at the school 😅
Even 2000s kids understand
Barely
@@MikeyBats well at least mostly

The line from Goodfellas should be on here.. “funny how”
And here I thought "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die” was going to be #1.
That relaased in 1987
@@andrewkatz6649 Yea, but a hella lot of kids grew up with it in the 90's.
i'm in high school and get these references.. :) my dad and i were just watching forrest gump actually!
Guys, the details in Clueless are nuts. Even Cher's gum matches her outfit!
My favourite reference is from Titanic!

Im from 2000s and i get them
I don't know why, but that opening scene in The Kion King always makes me tear up. 🥹
You can be a kid that grew up in the '90s or a kid like me who grew up watching '90s movies.
I love being a 90s kid!! 😊
I was born in 2001, yet when The Circle of Life started playing, I had massive chills.
Very very great fun lol list I like it a lot very very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever 😊❤
I always thought it was neat that Alicia Silverstone didn't know the correct pronunciation of the word "Haitians", with director Amy Heckerling telling everyone not to correct her, as it fitted Cher's lovably ditzy nature.
7:21 I'm pretty sure I never did that.
I guess I’m a 90s kid now!
ah the 90s, a much simplier times
I was born in 99’ and I know all these. My parents were big movie fans
My niece was born in '95 so I guess she's technically a '90's kid, but I doubt she'd consider herself one but she (and by extension I) watched the first Lion King movie more times than I can remember. Mine is "Holding Simba up". Happy sunay morning, Phoebe. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Amazing!
‘Forrest Gump.’
One of the best Hollywood movies ever made is turning 30.
😁
The classic Disney animated film ‘The Lion King’ will be turning 30 this year!
ik
As of last year the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL started doing a lion king cam where parents hold up their babies
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the fact that Emily indent even made a reference to I see dead people in the Halloween episode of Hannah Montana when mentioning how popular that quote from sixth sense was
Raising simba I’ve seen a lot of people do that with their pets mainly cats and dogs
I see Dead people is memorable to Anyone who saw The Sixth Sense or vaguely aware of cultural memes. I am a 1960’s kid and thoroughly member it. Same thing with Clueless quotes. Toy Story was NOT just for kids.
Oh, sure, _The Lion King,_ that movie famously only known and beloved by those who grew up in the nineties.
“He’s a good man, Savannah”
😂😂😂😂
"My Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." - Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks)
"Life is a box of chocolates, Forest. You never know what you’re gonna get." - Mrs. Gump (Sally Field), Forrest Gump (1994)
“I see dead people.”
😨
Lindsey is a mom now.
I still say alrighty then almost daily.
More like 90's teens. But, yeah. 😂
How about Thomas J getting stung by bees🐝🐝 and dying from it
so... I am 80s and get every single one of these. 🤔Just saying. lol
Where is Houston we have a problem?
The worst is when you use the “Your killing me Smalls” line to someone born after 1999 and the just look at you with a dumb look…

@@gevorg1989 you’re right…lol
Nants ingonyama bagithi baba! Nothing tops The Lion King!
And 90's parents
😱 from home alone.
I still remember Marlon saying “I see white people”.
Only 90s transformers Fans know the Phrase "truck not monkey"😂
Grr I am a 90s kid (born 91) but these teen movies and early nineties stuff I don’t know some of these
... No "we've got cows" or "tighten your seat belt"...?
" Keep It Weird " YTV, if you are in funny mood and engarance others to do the same thing just say Keep it weird,
How about “I’m not even supposed to be here today”
The original Parent Trap did it better.
toy story and home alone
I didn't understand in the 90s
I personally don’t think plastic surgery is worth it, unless it is necessary, which I know happens.
❤
Hands on cheeks scream
grew up in the 90s but didn't watch most of these movies had zero interest in them especially titanic and clueless
I still see dead people and I know what you did last summer.
Can you do a video called disney live action movies that were almost live actoin animated films
Unpopular opinion but I hate the sandlot. But only because I had friend in Jr high who only ever wanted to watch every late start Monday. For the entire school year. On a brighter note what 90s kid didn't hold there cat\small dog up like Simba?
Please do one from the 80's.
bit early
The narrater's voice ... ugh. And what makes her think the 90.s was such a big deal in comparison to any other decade? Give me a break ... please!
Was that the @therybkatwins
I didn't understand in the 90s
