You’ll love it, I have both 8gpm & 4gpm on my bed rail, if I double feed the tank from both spigots 8/10 times I don’t need to stop for water, I ride with my dad so it’s nice to have one machine surface cleaning and the other house washing, saves a ton of time

One more thing.. look into some kinda wax or ceramic coatng for that beast.. protect your investments 🤓🤘🏻
Good advice
Joe your going to love the amount of flow that you get from your 8gpm. I switched from a 5 to an 8 last year huge difference flow. I bought my install kit for my IBC tote from pressure wash products. The kit comes with everything you need to install you're 8 gallon good luck.
Nice to hear that it’s a big difference. I’m excited
That looks very nice. Im happy for you
Much appreciated
That’s awesome Joe. Nice equipment 👍 🦈
Thank you 💪🏼✌🏼
What a nice upgrade for your growing business! Looks like it says 9gpm on the pump. You'll have to do a timed test again to see 😉. Can't wait to see your upcoming videos of the new build! I love watching your videos and I appreciate the tips and knowledge you give freely to everyone! Thank-you Joe! Best regards, Jonathan Peters.
Thank you Jonathan. I saw the 9 on there after the video. I’m excited to flow test
Congrats. You are going to love that 8!!!
You know I’m going to oooo
Congrats! Big upgrade there. I will stay with my 5.5gpm machine for this year and focus on getting clients and working on my website. Goal for this year is to hit the 6 digits!
You can do it
So happy you finally got a flow actuated I know I've commented in the past to get one and i promise you will love it and never go back. Im gonna see about uploading a video of my setup its on a 2000 F350 DRW Flatbed.
Text me videos 860-942-3855
Congratulations Joe
Thank you
Wash Mart. Great company down here in Texas!! We cant wait to see it mounted!!
Congrats. Joe 7k and climbing. Nice new machine, know you will be killing it this year.👍
💪🏼👍🏼
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! We need our daily dose of Papa Joe. Hahaha. Love it. I could feel your excitement unwrapping that beast. You deserve it. You have grinded it out like nobody’s business and can’t wait to see what come next season.
Thank you Mr Bender. I think I may make more shorter videos per a recent suggestion. I’m really excited for the upcoming season
Your going to love that new 8gpm machine. I got a new 8gpm hot water unit from amber and Marco down at wash mart and I love it. The heat is a game changer. 💯
I’m sure it is!!
7k and more on the way great video nice equipment can’t wait to see the setup hope the family is doing well
All good! Thank you
Glad to see another video. That machine looks great. Can't wait to see it in action! I've been recommending your channel to new guys who ask me about pressure washing/soft washing. I told them to go back about a year and start watching all your videos because they will learn a ton of information.
Much appreciated
Yes Adam I do the same thing to new guys wanting to learn. I found the library only goes back about a year to about the time he got the truck. It's still one heckava learning library tho!
Glad to see you upgrading every year
Keep killing it
Thank you Dan. I think an AR45 maybe next year
@@powerfulimprovements how are you using the red gun on pressure washer with adjustable unloader?
@@DanDowney916 the flow actuated unloader does not build pressure off trigger. The red gun with its large orifice should run under 300 psi. Much like the m5 tip only puts out like 150
Congrats, I just upgraded to an 8gpm. Game changer!
💪🏼💥
So proud brother you're growing just just like your vision wanted you to do action is the best thing that will grow a business apart of believing because we're selling value and that is what you received today when purchased your 8 gallon a minute from washsmart so they built and delivered 2 you this beautiful setup congratulations brother on your new 7,000 on UA-cam believe and keep the faith as though you already do
great video brother from GA-PROWASH #WASHON
Thank you very much
I love my gear drive 8GPM
Right!?
Very nice, Happy for ya!
✌🏼
Nice can't wait to see it in action
Thank you
I have to say Joe I’m very very inspired to do something similar 🤦🏽♂️ if the ar45 falls through I know what I’m getting thanks for sharing 🤘🏽👊🏽
That’s funny. The AR is on my wish list
What a beauty, do you have a video on the construction/assembly of the rig?
I have a igx800 8gpm belt and it’s a beast. It’s a great investment you will never look back at the 4gpm again lol. Enjoy that beast. Wash on.
💪🏼💪🏼
Your gonna love the flow unloader ( I’ll never go back to pressure trap) But fyi it has British threads so you’ll have to get adapters to fit standard threads
Are you running same? Who did you buy adapters from
I have the zk72 on my 4gpm. Got adapters from local machine shop.
Luv it Joe joe✌️👍
✌🏼❤️
Rock on Joe!!!
I run a 6.8 with a gear drive I haven't a problem with it. Wash on brother.
Love it
wow 7k....I caught on at 1.5k....great job Joe
Yeah. You’ve been hanging around for a minute or two ✌🏼😂❤️
Congratulations on that beast Joe. Hopefully it makes you a lot of that cheese 🧀.
I’m sure it will
What an upgrade I am going 6.5 GPM this year I am jealous congratulations Joe.
It’s a big upgrade for me. Can’t wait to see
@@powerfulimprovements can’t wait to see it in action.
Good Stuff brother. You’re gonna kill it this year. I predict you out do Mike C this year
Thank you
Joe that looks like 9 gallons per minute, you will be a BEAST with that unit !!!!!!
Yeah! That’s what it says. Actually noticed it right after I shot the video. You know the first thing I’m doing is a flow test
@@powerfulimprovements should be around 2700 psi with 9 series tips, you’re gonna love that key start !!!!!
@@powerfulimprovements AR Pumps are damn good pumps too !!!! I have ran them for over 10 years now
Congratulations on your 8GPM purchase. You will love it with the flow pro.
Can’t wait
Question for Brian and Joe. Are you running a 2.1 injector on your 8 with the flow pro? We have a 5.5 and an 8 and have been testing the flow pro with both machines. Trying to decide what route we wanna go.
@@EremosOutdoors I haven’t run mine yet. I will be testing the 1.8 and 2.1
@@EremosOutdoors I run the 1.8 and have never done a flow test, but am very satisfied with it. I, like Joe, (I stole the idea from him) run my downstream bypass configuration with the ball valve in the horizontal position and the DS injector in the vertical(looped) position, which is configured opposite from how the companies normally sell them.
@@brianfletcher7942 Good deal that’s what we are leaning towards because of more flow. We run ours the same as y’all do with the injector in the loop of the bypass. I’ll share my test results below, all test were done on 200’ of 3/8s hose with a m5 twist and the flow pro through the gf valves so I can meter my soap and sh and it’s all through 1/4” line.
Test 1: 8gpm full throttle 10/1 ratio draw 1.25% mix 1.8 injector
Test 2: 8gpm full throttle 2.1 injector .83% mix 15/1
5.5 testing
1.8 injector 8/1 ratio 1.5% mix
2.1 injector 10/1 ratio 1.25% mix
Awesome on the 7K dude!! I always read that anything bigger than a 5gpm will waste more chem and cause alot more over spray just want to see your honest opinion on it after a few weeks.
Im still running with a 4gpm.
Gunna miss first pull baby!!! lol :)
We’re going to find out 😂✌🏼
I wouldn’t swap out to that unloader. That setup was designed to run low rpm until the pressure switch tells the motor to ramp up to full rpm because the trigger is pulled. You won’t have enough pressure for that other unloader to work properly due to already low pressure from this design. You’ll have to run it at full rpm all the time and won’t get to utilize the great functionality of the pressure switch with that new unloader.
See the pressure switch is something I’m not understanding yet. This is new design with the fuel injection correct?
@@powerfulimprovements The Honda IGX 700/800’s have ECU’s, it’s monitoring a lot! So now it’s time to upgrade their impulses to improve our line of work. A hard wired pressure switch will allow the engine to idle down while not in use other wise that engine with that big of pump needs to be ran at full rpm.
You wont get an engine from Honda allowing you to go to full RPM to utilize all the horsepower. So first off the toggle needs to be bypassed as per Honda to get max horsepower. That’s been done for a while but not by many. It should been done and is the best for that motor and pump combo. Next is to figure out how to save the motor and pump while not in use and that’s the Pressure switch’s job! The switch is wired through the ecu and tells the motor when you are not pulling the trigger which brings idle down. There has to be more to come from this idea!
Awesome brother,,,,,just a suggestion,,,if it was me I'd put clear caulk on the back of the wire plug on key start and definitely put electric diode grease in the plug...Hopefully that would keep the weather out
Appreciate the advice
well sh*t Joe, You have stepped up big time! I'm not sure if i'm worthy enough to watch your videos anymore.....
😂😂😂
Happy to see it, would you be open to a consulting call? Looking for some advice
Text me to start. 860-942-3855
Before the 1/2" hose nazis chime in, standard 3/8" works just fine.
Right! It had better 😂✌🏼
@@powerfulimprovements bought my unit from Russ. I asked about 1/2" he said difference wasn't worth the extra weight. Ran 100' of 1/2" and 100' of 3/8" just to see. Should have listened. Difference was barely noticeable and the extra weight suckkkked. Went back to all 3/8" a couple days later.
@@Diego-Delgado thank you for sharing this
I've read(no personal experience) that some prefer the first 50’ (closest to the reel) as 1/2” and then rest as 3/8.” It would make for an interesting test/video.
@@samleffingwell6878 I tried that as well. Bucket test came out the same. No difference for me
Dude this will pay off and cut time down tremendously! When you do those apartments etc I’m sure the time will almost be cut in half
Hopefully!!
Hello, powerful improvements... how does the setup work for you? I have the same exact pump at 9gpm. I haven't tested it yet because I'm trying to get a motor for it. Please let me know what you think... im going from a 3.5 gpm to this one. Hopefully, it works great... and how has the pump held up for you so far?
It ran great all season
So what 8gpm machine do you recommend now and do you recommend gear drive or belt drive i want to make the right decision and i trust your advice
I’m very happy with my Honda, 690 Gear Drive. Had no issues to date.
Hi Joe, FYI if you want you can still make short videos and upload them as short videos. The engagement and channel growth will be better because UA-cam prefers short videos at the moment. They are just videos of 15-30secs videos and maybe up to a minute.
That’s a great idea! I’ll do that
Hi Joe,
Wow, never thought you would go up to a 8.0 gpm. Especially in your area with well water system. Man, can't wait to see the setup on the truck. What size water tank are you going to carry in the truck for the 8.0 gpm?
I wish you the best this season.
Michael C - (WA)
Yeah I’m pretty nerved up about it. I’m putting a 275 tank in the truck to start. Ultimately I’ll be upgrading the truck to a dually
@MTH Power wash I’m more worried about out running my buffer. I struggled with slow wells last season
There’s a disclaimer on that unloader that it doesn’t work properly on high pressure hoses greater than 100 ft. Thoughts?
🤷🏼♂️ we’ll find out. I know most guys using it on 200 daily
Congrats on the 7000. I know I've been here a long time.
You're going to run that 300lb gun off that 3000lb pump? I've never heard of such a thing.
So the k1 flow sensitive unloader is the key. Pressure does not build up off trigger. The orifice on the gun is large. Much like the m5 so pressure will be very low. For example my m5 was at 150 last year.
@Powerful Improvements I'm going to have to look into that.
I use the M5 twist for soaping and the X-jet for rinsing because the pressure differential is about 100lb. Enough to shut off the DS injector, but you know that....lol
I know I'm probably going with the Pro-Flow this year.
No snippets for Mike? I think he's a couple ahead of you....😉
Put a few oz of Lucus gear oil additive in your gearbox. The clinging ability of that stuff is phenomenal.
Check your door opening for your VIN # and see your GVWR. I believe it's 10000lb for your F-250
@@symplemynd57 😂 yes 10k but I’m sure to be over
Did Washmart recommend the wash down gun with the pressure washer? Curious to see how it works.
They did not. A friend of mine gave me the idea
Just to clarify are you going to be using the red wash gun with the pressure washer? Never seen anyone do that, but if it works it would be a downstreaming beast. I’ll be curious how it handles the line pressure when you are off the gun.
Yes sir. That’s what the k1 unloader is for. It does not build pressure off the trigger
@@powerfulimprovements Been watching your videos for a good while now and learning a lot. Seen a lot of guys use that gun with the high volume gas roof pumps, but they are maxed out around 300 psi. IIRC those guns are rated for over 15 gallons of flow, so with an 8pm feeding it should have a good pressure drop for softwashing. Can’t wait to see the flow/draw test video.
@@bnagnew34 it’ll be interesting for sure
No shit wash mart. That's were my 10 gpm is coming from. I dealt with amber
She is great
Joe, do you plan on using a pump to help getting water to pick up on the gear drive unit?
I do not. It should draw like belt
@@powerfulimprovements always very interested in your growth. I've read where others had trouble unless the water source was higher than the gear drive pw. Can't wait to see your up coming vids.
Congrats on 7k Joe! It’s awesome watching you grow.
One problem with the new machine... KEY START!?! Does that mean no more ‘1 pull baby!’
Just joking buddy it’s great to see the progress
Yeah. I was really torn. I feel like a sell out ✌🏼
What's that black device on the back of the pump?
Will be in an upcoming video. It is a pressure sensor that control the idle on the fuel injection.
Go big or go home! 👊👊👊
💪🏼💪🏼
Just 3000 psi mmmm oookeyyy
It’s about flow. Not pressure.
What made you go gear over belt?

Curious 2 years later, are you still liking that igx? I just bought a rig couple days ago and this guy hates IGX said wouldnt take one for free, nothing but problems. I see a lot of them in my market up for sale from all the washers in my area. 4k for 12 gpm with just a few hundred hours? Almost bought but the info was alarming so think I will stay away. GX690 just cant be beat yet. I do have a CRX 750 as a backup, those seem pretty solid.
@@sniffy45 we returned the igx . Never ran it. Bought a gx690 instead
@@powerfulimprovements I was also wanting to try the blue and red guns. Cna you run those straight off the gx690 or do you need to put a buffer of sorts inline? I just watched a vid about that but was not aware you had to do it a certain way. Thats how much I know so far which is nothing. I see you using and they seem awesome.
@@sniffy45 you need a flow actuated unloader like the k7
