I doubt that the cam and valve train would be frozen enough to hold back a 36 inch pipe wrench with my weight on it. if the crank was free we would be able to move it (we did have the caps off) back and forth a little bit before it got stuck on the pistons are the valve train. Im going to drive the pistons out from the bottoms and see how that goes.

more than likely rings froze or rusted to cylinder walls
